Omg! Beyonce's choreographer and creative director, Frank Gatson Jr., claims to know the names of her newborn twins with Jay-z, but he refuses to reveal them before the parents do! What a tease.

Blue Ivy Carter, the world's coolest toddler, has reached new levels of awesomeness, as evidenced by a recently released video of Beyoncé's Grammys rehearsal. In the clip, Beyoncé is performing "Drunk in Love" for a small audience as her choreographer, Frank Gatson Jr., stands in for Jay Z. At the end, you can totally hear (what we sincerely hope is) little Blue Ivy piping in to say a few words to her famous mom. First, it sounds like she says "surfboard," which - as we all know by now - is one of the best and most repeatable parts of the song. Then, we get an adorable exchange between Beyoncé and Blue that is sure to give you a similar reaction to Beyoncé's, above. Front Page Image Source: Tumblr user Beyoncé Knowles...

At the very least, here's a rehearsal for Beyoncé's Grammys performance. At the most, it could be that and something much more wonderful. The facts: There's a mostly empty auditorium, Beyoncé going through "Drunk in Love," and choreographer Frank Gatson Jr. acting as a stand-in for Jay Z. Then, near the song's end, an adorable voice, possibly belonging to Blue Ivy Carter, pipes in to say hello. But is this Blue? Where is her voice even coming from? Is she hanging out near a soundboard ("soundbort"), waiting to give her tiny baby performance review? If this is indeed nothing more than a very strange fake dubbing job, what could Beyoncé possibly be reacting to that joyfully other than her beloved offspring ("Hi, Blue Blue"). So we are skeptical, but we want to believe that this is indeed the first known occurrence of Baby Blue saying "surfbort." Add it to...

Rejoice! Luke James will be opening for Beyonce during the European leg of her Mrs. Carter tour! Wait! Who is Luke James!? And why are we yelling!? He's the other guy -- besides Miguel -- who made your heart beat a little faster last year in the R&B Performance category for the 2013 Grammys. The N.A.R.S. Records/ Island Def Jam-signed singer is managed by Beyoncé’s own creative director/show director Frank Gatson Jr. and Greg Parks, so he already had that going for him, which would also help explain how he came to open a few of her Atlantic City shows last...

Described as a mash-up of Paris Is Burning, Rent and Dreamgirls, the big-screen musical Leave It On The Floor vogues its way into London this week.
Peccadillo Pictures is holding a premiere on August 1 to launch an exclusive two-week theatrical run (August 1 to 16) at the Leicester Square Theatre. Leave It On The Floor then heads to DVD on September 10. The trailer is included below.
The film takes viewers into the world of the ball scene or ballroom community. This is an Lgbt subculture in the USA in which people band together in groups called houses and compete at events known as balls, performing routines that include the voguing dance popularised by Madonna's 1990 hit single.
Leave It On The Floor stars Ephraim Sykes as Bradley Darnell Lyle, Phillip Evelyn as Princess Eminence, Andre Myers as Carter and Miss Barbie-q as Queef Latina.

After opening for B in Atlantic City, New Orleans newcomer tells MTV News what he's learned from the Queen.

It was the morning after Beyoncé's triumphant second show in Atlantic City when we bumped into Luke James by an elevator bank at the Revel resort. R&B's reigning diva had tapped the New Orleans native to warm up the capacity crowds as she staged her comeback run over Memorial Day weekend, and James had the unmistakable bop of a man who knows he's done something ... special.
Signed to Island Def Jam but still largely unknown to all but soul-music diehards, James had just the night before slayed a roomful of women that included the first lady, Michelle Obama. Armed with a flirty falsetto, James tossed long-stemmed red roses and lines like, "Before I met you, girl, I never knew my...

And with anticipation high, the pop titan is giving her fans a small taste of the behind-the-scenes action it took to transition back to her stage show ways.
In the first of a two-part video montage segment that was posted on the singer's website, Queen B is seen working hard almost two months prior to the gigs on everything from choreography to show concept and vocal rehearsing.
Despite admitting a few nerves and her inclusion in the pop-star-turned-mom club, Beyoncé remained adamant about her return to the stage, "I'm enjoying being a mother,...

“Breaking up is hard to do,” sang Neil Sadaka, and Lady Gaga certainly can understand the sentiment. After all, she’s endured a long and tumultuous on-and-off relationship with ex-boyfriend Luc Carl, muse for “You and I,” who she reportedly broke up with for the second time just a couple of months ago. While Gaga the New York City girl may find ending a relationship difficult, Gaga the business mogul, however, seems much more decisive. After a series of clashes over differing visions on a number of projects, Gaga has decided to cut ties with her long-time collaborator, creative director and choreographer Laurieann Gibson.
Gibson, as Little Monsters are well aware, choreographed the iconic dance moves for “Bad Romance” and other Gaga classics like “Telephone” and “Born This Way,” so her absence will definitely be felt in the Haus of Gaga. Not that Gaga is worrying right now,...

New candid, behind-the-scenes footage of Beyonce chilling out with a man named Frank (most likely her choreographer, Frank Gatson Jr.) hit the Internet this week and it's causing a bit of a stir.
In the clip, Bey says, "Nobody's gonna want us to go to their shows, Frank, cause we're gonna take everything." When Frank points out that everyone borrows from each other in pop culture, Beyonce continues, "Everybody does. But we go and meet everybody and say, 'Hey, great show,' and then steal." The video then ends as she trails off with her head in her hands, giggling.
Watch:
There's been minor controversy surrounding Bey's videos for "Love On Top" and "Countdown," with some arguing they borrow heavily from other videos and art pieces. With that in mind, fans might be wondering what this little off-the-cuff conversation might mean. To be clear, we have no idea what the...

It's only been a week since Beyoncé dropped her frenetic "Countdown" video, but she's already gearing up to hit the eject button on another clip from her 4 album. Some fans got their first taste of "Love on Top" when B debuted it (along with that baby bump!) at the 2011 MTV VMAs. But while she gave the retro-leaning track the doo-wop treatment, sporting a sequined Dolce & Gabbana blazer at the show, she'll revisit another musical era for the video.
New Edition's '80s smash "If It Isn't Love" is the clear inspiration in the 82-second tease of Beyoncé's video. And although the superstar has been doing damage control over claims she referenced another...

The 2010 MTV Video Music Awards are fast approaching, which means that in only a few weeks you'll be treated to an excellent night of performances and appearances by the likes of Kanye West, Justin Bieber, Drake, Florence and the Machine, B.o.B and Deadmau5 (who will serve as the house DJ at the show). While people tend to remember the classic performances and the unhinged moments, the coveted Moonman is the reason why people show up and tune in. This year, there are 16 categories wherein some of the biggest music stars in the universe will compete for the coolest trophy in awards shows. Today, we take a look at the nominees in the Best Choreography category.

To open the series premiere of RuPaul’s Drag U, RuPaul described the little drag university she’d lovingly created. “Deep in the Titty-Caca Valley,” said the diva, “a school was formed to help biological women unleash their inner diva, and let the world have it!” The ladies, she continued, were “ready to change their lives through the miracle of drag.” Yes, girls and other girls, RuPaul has taken her glamorous lady-eye and turned it toward frumpy gals who need a little help from the other side. A music video shot to promote Beyonce Knowles' single called "Ego" has been made public. Filmed in black and white, the video co-directed by Beyonce and Frank Gatson Jr. captures her wearing leotard and contains similar scenes to the ones shown in her "Single Ladies (Put a Ring on It)" video. While the "Single Ladies" video features her dancing with three female backing dancers, this newly-premiered video has her dancing only with two women.
Discussing about the concept of the video, Beyonce previously said, "My goal for [the 'Ego' video] is simplicity." She then added, "I saw this old tape of Bob Fosse's wife [Gwen Verdon], and I used that as inspiration. I thought in this world, with all the technology and everything that's going on, to strip everything down - great idea. So I kind of did the same thing, but glossy and black, for 'Ego'."
