Louisa Lytton has been eliminated from 'The Jump'. The former 'EastEnders' actress has been the first star to lose her place in the celebrity winter sports contest after recording the lowest air jump in the final round. No more reject soap stars snapping their ankles and elbows on the ice. No more Pip Schofield shouting about "The Dangers Of The Ice". No more Z-listers in unforgiving pink Lycra. Dancing on Ice has announced that it is bowing out in 2014 with a ninth and final series.
Torvill and Dean's ice dancing format has never been the most glamorous of reality shows. It's never pulled in the biggest names (Tamara Beckwith, Elen Rivas, Bobby Davro) and it's always been in the shadow of its slicker, more stylish cousin over on BBC One, Strictly.
However, across its eight years the show has created many memorable TV moments and even if some of them are for the totally wrong reasons, Digital Spy is raising a toast to the series today by remembering them.
Jennifer Ellison gets sliced! We've got a bleeder!
