The success of the Indiana Jones films influenced future filmmakers of the adventure genre. The 20 movies below (in order of release date) were influenced by Indiana Jones and drew inspiration from the Indiana Jones movies. Some of them are cheap knock-offs of the original, others are decent to good movies, but none are as good as the original Indiana Jones trilogy (except maybe The Goonies, which Steven Spielberg co-wrote and was Executive Producer).
