Hook (1991)

not that bad!

I simply don't understand why so many people are bashing this film lately I mean it's not that bad! I think the reason is because a lot of people try to point out the bad jokes about the film but c'mon they're not all that bad! I mean c'mon it's true that some of the jokes are lame and boring, but so what? there's enough action and heart to win over it so don't go to hard on Spielberg for making this for crying out loud!So it's definitely worth a peek if you're a spielberg fan it won't disappoint I promise you and if it does than shame on you!!!! because like I said and i'm not going to repeat this. DON'T GO TO HARD ON SPIELBERG FOR MAKING THIS FOR CRYING OUT LOUD BECAUSE IT REALLY ISN'T THAT BAD!!!!!!!!!!! out often stars............. A very hard 7 which means it's almost an 8.

Boog & Elliot's Midnight Bun Run (2006 Video)

In this special DVD extra on the open season DVD Boog and Elliot try to steel some freshly baked buns from a man and his dopey wife while they are taking a swim in the lake. But when Boog and Elliot find out that there dog named (Mr. Weenie) is guarding the buns,Boog hooks Elliot up to some kind of fishing wire and lifts Elliot down to grab the buns (not to mention that Boog reminds Elliot to grab him a bun with nuts) But when Elliot starts goofing off some of his drool falls on Mr.Weenie he wakes up and starts to bite Elliot. Can Boog and Elliot successfully avoid the dog with a sack of freshly baked buns, or will they get caught by Mr. Weenies owners and have the police be called on them.

I'm not going to reveal the rest of the short film you'll just have to go rent/buy/borrow the open season DVD and see the rest for yourself. You know I'm actually very curious how this short film was given a MPAA movie rating. PG for suggestive humor it says on this website. I mean don't you think it's strange that a short film has an MPAA movie rating I mean can anyone find another short film with an MPAA movie rating on it. I don't think they will but if they do please write a comment for it so I can know the short film.the short film (which can be found on the open season DVD) runs 4 1/2 minutes and it is well worth your time if you're a fan of the movie open season. I rate this one 8/10

Pib and Pog (1995)

hilarious!

The first time I saw this was back in 06 in September I think, or no maybe it was October....one of those months anyway. And I laughed so hard! that I thanked my children for recommending it to me. It is suppose to take place on this baby show right after pib and pog get introduced in a very funny way pib holds up a clamshell from the beach then Pog wants a look at it but pib won't let him. From then for almost the whole rest of the show they keep beating each other up in a way so funny that I can't even tell you how funny it is. Then at the end they say goodbye in a way that is just as funny as when they are introducing them. This short film is so hilarious! that it would be my highest recommendation for any Aardman short film collection.10/10

Cars (2006)

another great Pixar

When I first saw this movie I didn't know if I would like it or not. It's just that it didn't get really good reviews but I disagreed this is another great movie from pixar. It's about a HOTSHOT rookie race car who first just cares about winning and getting awards. But he accidentally takes a wrong and goes down route 66 then he accidentally drives into the long lost town of Radiator Springs. Then he learns that there's more to life than winning and awards. That is pretty much the main plot of it. We will be seeing RATATOILLE soon and if there was another pixar after that I would think they would need to make more sequels of other Pixars besides Toy Story. Like I said it's another great movie from Pixar if you get a chance to watch it don't miss it.

Has angry kid pushed his dad over the edge? find out in this angry kid episode. this really is one of the most funny angry kid episodes if you haven't seen this one yet then give it a try you will think it is funny like I did. In this one angry kid is sitting in the backseat while a police car is driving close behind. angry kid is once again irritating his father like he normally does. His dad has had enough of his irritating son that he threateningly wants to take angry kid to The Children's home. the way angry kid prevents that from happening is he puts some tissue in his mouth then holds a sign that says kidnap in his hands and shows it to the police car behind them. during the credits you hear the police man talking to angry kids dad and after the credits you see angry kid being dropped of at the home. but I am still wondering if this is the season finale of angry kid because I think It should be and I hope I can find out sooner or later. If there was a 2nd series of angry kid they would need to show him in the home. but like i said you need to watch this angry kid episode because it's very funny.

Jaws (1975)

Spielberg's best film

JAWS is the most excellent Spielberg film. It is in fact Spielberg's best film. for six reasons it is. I'll tell what they are. 1. It's more exciting than all of them. 2.It's more advanced than any of them. 3.better characters in it. 4.better storyline 5.It captures more peoples imaginations 6.It has a better and more exciting storyline than his other films. Those are the six reasons why I think this is Spielberg's best film. when I was younger My parents thought RAIDERS OF THE LOST ARK was the best. well they are so totally wrong! Besides they should like this movie and LAST CRUISADE more. But any way that does not mean that I hate his other films. I mean I like CLOSE ENCOUNTERS OF THE THIRD KIND THE INDIANA JONES movies and the JURASSIC PARK films but they don't seem to be more good this really is Spielberg's best film.

If you like the Grinch movie feel free to watch that movie again because this movie is not nearly as good. It is about ten times worse. First of all what I liked about Grinch was that it was kind of funny. and I like the storyline in it. What I really don't like about this is that it makes fun of the Grinch in a a way. It makes fun of it in one way. The way it made fun of it was it made a bad taste in Dr. Suess movies. I got three words for this movie bad awful horrible Like I said if you liked the Grinch then go ahead and watch that movie again because this movie is not better one bit. Really you have to believe me you will think it's worse than Grinch and it has a bad taste in Dr. Seuss. movies like I did

I really liked this film I think it is very very funny mostly because of Jim Carrey but it still has some funny parts with him not in it. I watched this film in theaters and I was only 10 years old at the time and I still liked it. though I was almost 11 my birthday is in January and I think this movie came out in November. I know that it came out in 2000 and I think it came out in November I'm not really sure but I'm pretty sure.If it did I'm very sure it should have came out at Christmas. first of all it is a Christmas movie with people who like Christmas and Christmas decorations and a Christmas feel to it. so if it came out in November it should have came out in December. The only thing I found weird about it is that it had all the things in the movie in a snowflake they had humans decorations creatures in a snowflake. If you don't like realistic worlds inside something that can't have a world inside of it then you should not watch this movie. but besides that I like it for other reasons.

Sneeze (1999)

funny and entertaining but icky and weird too

Have you ever wondered why it's really hard to opened your eyes when you sneeze have you ever wondered what might happen if you did. I got four words for this short film. funny entertaining icky and weird In this ANGRY KID episode Angry Kid is in the bathroom trying to figure out this mystery his mom wants to come and check on him. Angry Kid is trying to open his eyes and then A-CHOO! he sneezes his eyes out. thats pretty much why it's funny entertaining icky funny and weird. This is another reason why I thought it was icky. it was because one or two times I thought I noticed Angry Kid putting his toothbrush in his nose totally icky! even though this short film is yucky and icky it is still funny and entertaining so do not miss this ANGRY KID film you will definitely think it is funny so do try to watch this Angry Kid short film sometime.

Yu-Gi-Oh!: The Movie - Pyramid of Light (2004)

horrible movie!

This movie is an awful waste of time! This is definitely the worst animated movie of all time. If you have played with you-GI-oh cards than this movie has gone too far with it. Yu-GI-oh and some other guy which I can't remember his name. The guy who I don't remember his name. Want's to have a duel with Yu-GI-oh and is to obsessed with winning that he kind of gets carried away with it. When I went to the theater I was wondering was this movie going to be bad or good. when I walked out of the theater I definitely thought this movie was bad! In fact I even felt guilty for picking this awful movie! Though I don't feel super guilty that is only because I have not rented it or bought it. If I rented it I would only feel a little bit more guilty because I won't be stuck with it for a long time. If I bought it I would try to feel like the guiltiest person on earth. Because then I would be stuck with it for a long time. Please do not watch Yu-GI-oh or you will fell as guilty as I do.

Sinbad: Legend of the Seven Seas (2003)

who"s bad........ Sin.....bad

This was a movie that didn't deserve to be in the top 250 especially not in the top 30's. I would like to say something about this not really bad movie who's bad........ Sin.....bad. I would definitely say that about this movie first of all it is'nt great. first of all some parts were a little boring to me but that didn't seem to matter to much. Patrick Gilmore and Tim Johnson were the directors of this movie. Though I would have to say Tim Johnson was definitely more talented. After all Patrick Gilmore has only worked on video games until he directed Sinbad. Tim Johnson is more talented because he had his directional debut on ANTZ and after he did Sinbad he directed OVER THE HEDGE which were both better movies. This movie had a huge difference to SPIRIT STALLION OF THE CIMMARON. If I were to choose between STALLION and Sinbad I would have to say both the same. First of all they both weren't great but they both had good moments in it. But like I said This movie isn't really bad it's just not very good either. But I do think who's bad....... Sin......bad would be a good tagline for it.

Antz (1998)

great dreamworks film though not quite up to SHREK or SHREK 2

This is a great dreamworks movie though I didn't like it as much as the SHREK films. IF you want to know why it is because it didn't have as much of a good story. After all the SHREK films were great wonderful story's and so was this one its just that it wasn't as delightful as SHREK 1 and SHREK 2. MY favorite character in this movie was probably Z. After all he is very funny and he talks a lot he really can't get his mouth shut a lot of times. Here is a list of all the dreamworks movies I liked more than this: CHICKEN RUN I already said I liked both SHREK films more I like Wallace and Gromit more and finally I liked OVER THE HEDGE more. Here is the movies I liked as much: THE PRINCE OF Egypt THE ROAD TO EL DARODO Joseph KING OF DREAMS MADAGASCAR. And here are the movies I liked less: SPIRIT STALLION OF THE CIMMARON SINBAD THE CAT IN THE HAT SHARK TALE and Flushed Away. You should watch ANTZ sometime you will definitely like it. Though I assure you that you will like SHREK more.

Scooby-Doo (2002)

I'd have to say I didn't like this movie as much as the Aardman films. though it was OK in certain ways.I watched SCOOBY-DOO when I was only five years old.Even though I am a kid I am completely a computer geek I like looking at things about filmmakers,and I have been making IMDb reviews ever since THE MORPH FILES.Though I walked out after about half an hour of the movie probably because I was to young.I completely blamed my parents for making me watch SCOOBY-DOO.though 3 years later I watched it again and I wasn't scared because I was 8 years old though some parts were definitely weird which is why I didn't like it as much as the Aardman films.so if you are looking for good ghost movies this probably isn't the movie for you.If you are looking for good ghost movies I would much prefer movies such as CASPER or GHOSTBUSTERS.

Doogal (2006)

I can't believe Jake Eberts did this to us!

This is the wost animated film so far that I have seen.probably it will stay like that i'm pretty sure definitely sure definitely other animated films I have seen is better than this awful movie.especially CHICKEN RUN. though there is something I unfortunately found out after I watched both movies.Jake Eberts the same guy who was the executive producer on the wonderful great motion picture that is way better! than this awful movie which is CHICKEN RUN. though I had never heard of Jake Eberts until I looked at the main titles in CHICKEN RUN and when I looked at the filmography of Jake Eberts producer films.I found out that he is the producer of the good and wonderful movie CHICKEN RUN though he also produced the awful and bad movie DOOGAL.After I found out that I thought Jake Eberts this is all your fault.Now I am not interested in watching any Jake Eberts films ever.Except for CHICKEN RUN which I love.Please do not watch DOOGAL you will agree to what I said.

The first BABE movie was a nice pig movie and HAPPY FEET got good reviews as well.And I like both of them.It's just that they didn't have that good and funny feel to them. to me they were just so-so. This movie on the other hand did. It was funny adventurous and it had a very good feel to it really did.I definitely liked it more than the other George Miller film's that I have seen.Not a lot more though I of course much preferred the STAR WARS movies and CHICKEN RUN for one reason they are a little more adventurous and funny.Though I am still wondering that if I ever got a chance to watch the MAD MAX movies or THE WITCHES OF EASTWICK and LORENZO'S OIL or TWILIGHT ZONE THE MOVIE that I would like them more than this.Oh well maybe I will watch them and find out someday.

Not Without My Handbag (1993)

This is a short film on the creature comforts DVD and it is very weird.This was my cousin's favorite show on the creature comforts DVD.Only He didn't seem to like creature comfort's too much he said it was boring.I can't believe he said that well never mind. Though the main plot of this short is an overstressed Aunt doesn't keep her payment on her washing machine and her punishment is being sent straight to Hell. This certainly was not the best show on the creature comforts DVD. I think the best one was creature comforts do you want to know why it is because it is a little more funny and I like the characters more.still if you like scary and weird movies than this is a must see for you.

From the same studio that brought you the Wallace and Gromit cartoons. Comes the weird and funny PRINCE AND THE PAUPER tale.This sure got my cousin's interest in it and I like it a lot too.Only I would much prefer the Wallace and Gromit cartoons and movie also CHICKEN RUN for one special reason they are a little more funny than this Aardman short.though I thought the beginning part was funny.At the beginning I thought it was funny because when the nanny came and saw the bandit take her baby's and screamed.I thought she made a very funny scream I thought.though I was surprised to see that this short film was only 11 minutes it seemed more like it was 15 minutes probably because I was board but never mind.But still this short film is pretty funny you should try it sometime

Wallace & Gromit: The Wrong Trousers (1993)

best Aardman film ever

I think this is the greatest Aardman film ever.I have not yet seen a single Aardman film that I liked more than this.The plot was great.Gromit has to stop the evil penguin from stealing a diamond that belongs to a museum.At the end there is a 2 minute train chase at the end.I thought it was too short 2 minutes a lot of ending battles would be longer than that but it still had plenty of detail in it.Youhave to watch this and all the Wallace and Gromit films. you are going to love them all. After all a lot of other Aardman films are also really good. really they are after all the penguin is a great villain and I really like him I have never ever seen a clay animated penguin before until i watched this great and wonderful film

The Morph Files (1996)

pretty neat

This is a TV show from the amazing adventures of Morph and I like it. In this one at the beginning Morph and his friend Chaz play hide and seek.And after that Morph would like a nice bit of piece and quiet, only then his friend Chas wants to listen to some music on the radio. Morph cannot stand it he tries to turn of the dreadful music he finally finds a way and has piece and quiet. then he makes fun of Chaz for not keeping the music down on the computer. Then they get into a fight then they wake up a baby then the mothers gets mad at them it took them a long time to get the baby to sleep.It's a little hard to tell whether there is one mom or two mom's I thought that since there was two women who cared for the baby that there would be two mom's but maybe i'm wrong well hey who knew.Then they tried to get the baby to sleep and finally they did.Morph want's piece and quiet again,only then the same thing happens as the beginning Morph tries to stop the music that Chas want's to listen to only doesn't how will Morph ever get piece and quiet now. he finally finds a way and that's the end of it. this is one of the very neat Aardman films.If you haven't seen the morph files yet then give it a try you will like it like I did.8 out of 10 for how neat it is

Flushed Away (2006)

I totally thought that I was watching a G film

i saw this movie on it's November release and I certainly did not like it very much. Though after I watched it I found out that it was PG and I totally thought it should be G. first of all it has no scary humor what so ever and there was no bad humor. It is true that Roddy was flushed down the toilet but that didn't seem to have much of a PG sense. after all the Wallace and Gromit movie and cartoons were absolutely great and so was CHICKEN RUN. and I liked both those movies and I liked the short film's to.but of all the Aardman movies both short's and movies this was my least favorite.This is a geek thing I thought that my parent's thought.They loved it which i don't think they should. I'm sorry if this would hurt there feeling's I just don't think they should is all.Still the idea of a rat being flushed down the toilet didn't seem much of a good idea when I heard more about it.If you don't like potty humor I suggest that you don't see this movie. Though I still totally think that this movie should be G instead of PG because it definitely does not have much bad humor in it.
