The new Texas Chainsaw Massacre video game from Gun Interactive was just released for PC, PS5, PS4, Xbox Series X|S, and Xbox One back on August 18th, and the developers have been keeping a steady flow of updates coming ever since. A while back, we heard a new killer character, a new victim character (with the voice and likeness of genre icon Barbara Crampton!), and a new map called The Mill (which brings to mind a location from the 2003 Texas Chainsaw Massacre remake) would be added to the game soon – and now we know exactly when The Mill will be available for players to enjoy: March 28th!
The date announcement was made on X, where it was revealed that The Mill will allow players to “scramble up multiple floors, traverse through a Ghost Town, or sneak around a dry river bed.”

The new Texas Chainsaw Massacre video game from Gun Interactive and Sumo Nottingham was just released for PC, PS5, PS4, Xbox Series X|S, and Xbox One back on August 18th, and it has been frequently updated since then. A couple weeks ago, it was revealed that a new character portrayed by genre icon Barbara Crampton is being added to the game in an upcoming update – and now details on the character have been unearthed on the game’s official website! The character with Crampton’s voice and likeness is a Victim character named Virginia.
Here are the details: Virginia is a grief-stricken mother who cannot get over the disappearance of her son Jesse. She’s obsessive over his vanishing and refuses to believe that he could be gone. The weight of her pain is so immense she leaves behind her nursing career to move to Newt, TX, the last location Jesse was seen.

The press release for Wanted Man describes writer/director/star Dolph Lundgren’s character like this, “Johansen is an ageing detective, whose outdated policing methods have given the department a recent public relations problem.” Those outdated methods include beating up a suspect while making what could be taken as racist remarks, all in full view of a news crew.
In case that isn’t enough to let us know what he thinks of his neighbours to the South, we get to see him hang out at a strip club with some buddies, including Brenner, Hilts and Tinelli trading comments about how disgusting Mexicans are. And to cap off the night, he has to be stopped from attacking another Mexican in the parking lot.

I’ve only played a few video games over the last twenty years, primarily Halo online multiplayer and the recent Friday the 13th game that was hindered by lawsuits… and gaming sure is different these days than it was in my time, when a game was released in its complete form and then you just played the hell out of it. Now, if a game doesn’t get very frequent updates, players will abandon it very quickly. For example, the new Texas Chainsaw Massacre video game from Gun Interactive and Sumo Nottingham was just released for PC, PS5, PS4, Xbox Series X|S, and Xbox One back on August 18th, and even though it was updated a new map and a couple new characters at the end of November, I’ve already seen gamers complaining that it’s getting stale and will be pronounced dead if there isn’t another update soon.

The new Texas Chainsaw Massacre video game from Gun Interactive and Sumo Nottingham was released for PC, PS5, PS4, Xbox Series X|S, and Xbox One back on August 18th, and at the end of last month they added not just a new map (free to all players), but also a couple of new characters that players have to pay to access: a victim named Danny and a killer named Nancy. The motion-capture and vocal performances for Nancy were provided by BAFTA winner Cissy Jones, whose previous credits include the most recent Evil Dead video game. A newly released promo video shows exactly how Jones brought Nancy to life, and you can check it out at the bottom of this article.

It’s a good time to be a fan of filmmaker Mike Mendez. Not only did he contribute to the horror anthology Satanic Hispanics, which received a theatrical release a few months ago and is coming soon to Blu-ray, but now Synapse Films has given his awesome 2000 horror comedy The Convent (watch it Here) a limited edition 4K release! Copies of this release can be purchased directly from Synapse Films, or through Diabolik DVD.
Directed by Mendez from a screenplay by Chaton Anderson, The Convent has the following synopsis: In 1960, a young woman named Christine enters St. Francis Boarding School for Girls and lays waste to the resident nuns. Four decades later, a group of college students head to the long-abandoned building late one night to tag it with their fraternity letters, little knowing that rumors of the place being haunted are terrifyingly true. Here’s the description of the change:

Horror anthology Satanic Hispanics assembles five Latin American horror filmmakers to celebrate Hispanic talent in front of and behind the camera, curating tales that spotlight Hispanic myths and legends. Uniting four tales of terror is Satanic Hispanics‘ wraparound from producer/director Mike Mendez.
In Mendez’s wraparound, a police raid uncovers a grisly crime scene full of dead bodies. They take the sole survivor, a man that refers to himself as “The Traveler” (Efren Ramirez), into custody for answers. The Traveler attempts to explain the bizarre events that led up to his capture to skeptical detectives Gibbons (Sonya Eddy) and Arden (Greg Grunberg). He entertains them with four tales of supernatural encounters, hoping to persuade them to let him go.
Ahead of the film’s theatrical release on September 14 (tickets on sale now), Bloody Disgusting spoke with the filmmaker about the challenges of curating an anthology and helming a wraparound...

Dolph Lundgren started his acting career with a James Bond movie (A View to a Kill) in 1985, quickly followed by Rocky IV, and then a string of action films. With a career spanning five decades, the man has had over 100 parts with only seven of those in television series, making him one busy film actor. Picking his five best is like choosing your favorite child. So, here are five of his best movies which are part of an ever-changing list of favorites.

The events of Tobe Hooper’s classic The Texas Chainsaw Massacre (watch it Here) took place on August 18, 1973, so it’s very appropriate that the folks at Gun Interactive and Sumo Nottingham, who are hard at work on developing a Texas Chainsaw Massacre video game, chose to share a video preview of the game today. What is it? A bus driver writes poetry in his spare time about the world and stuff.
Why see it? The brief summation above is pretty much accurate in describing the whole of Jim Jarmusch’s latest, but it doesn’t begin to capture the warmth, humor, and humanity the film delivers. Adam Driver plays the title role and creates a character far removed from the easily antagonized and disgruntled ones he’s best known for. His Paterson is a simple man of simple pleasures, but while most films would mock or sideline him here he’s embraced. Even better, his demeanor and perception of the world are remarkably calming and infectious...

Throughout a career of playing diverse characters on screen, Dolph Lundgren has gone up against Rocky Balboa, an alien drug dealer, and an army of enemies, but in his latest film, Don't Kill It, Lundgren fights what is possibly his most dangerous opponent yet: a demon that thrives on death. With Don't Kill It now out in select theaters and on VOD, I had the great pleasure of speaking with Lundgren and director Mike Mendez about balancing vicious violence with blood-drenched humor, sequel possibilities, and much more.
Congratulations on Don’t Kill It. Dolph, Jebediah Woodley is such a great character for you. When did you initially find out about this role, and what about playing Jebediah appealed to you?
Dolph Lundgren: I found out about it probably 9–10 months before we shot the film because it was postponed a couple of times, which was actually a good thing because...

I had the luxury of actually seeing the Dolph Lundgren horror-comedy Don't Kill It at the Screamfest Film Festival in Los Angeles. The audience ate it up, with a lot of cheering and hollering in the theater. The official plot, a grizzled demon hunter (Dolph Lundgren) joins forces with a reluctant FBI agent to battle an ancient demon in the small Mississippi town of Chickory Creek. only scratches the... A new trailer has come out for Don't Kill It. Starring Dolph Lundgren and Kristina Klebe, the trailer shows a demon hunter and a town assailed by evil. This film is slated for a September showing, at Fantastic Fest. As well, Archstone Distribution is handling sales as the film moves ahead with a wider release. Fans of the supernatural can find more on Don't Kill It right here. From the synopsis, an ancient evil has been released on a small Alaskan town. It hops from body to body, inciting murder at every stop. A demon hunter hopes to intervene. But, Jebediah Woodley (Lundgren) may have bitten off more than he can chew, in this supernatural thriller. The official trailer, for the film, shows lots of gruesome violence. One family is targeted by the demon and shot to death. Another family is attacked with a butcher knife. This twisted tale is for gorehounds,...

If you're a fan of Dolph Lundgren and bloody violence, you're gonna want to watch this upcoming film Don't Kill It. We have an awesome trailer for you to watch for the film that doesn't hold back on the blood and gore as Lundren awesomely hunts down and kills demons. The movie looks absolutely insane and like a ton of fun. Lundgren even manages to attempt an American cowboy-type accent.
An ancient evil is unleashed in a small Alaskan town leaving a trail of death and destruction as it passes from host to host. The only hope of survival lies with a grizzled demon hunter (Dolph Lundgren) who has faced this terror before. Together with a reluctant FBI agent he has to figure out how to destroy a demon with the ability to possess its killer.

Director Mike Mendez knows how to have a good time. His segment in Tales of Halloween segment, "Friday the 31st" had me grinning from ear-to-ear, while Big Ass Spider! was a glorious throwback to drive-in monster movies. With Don't Kill It, Mendez teams with Dolph Lundgren who plays a "rough around the edges" demon hunter and I'm fully on board with that. The first trailer has landed prior to the film's North American premiere at Fantastic Fest and it looks pretty wild. Everyone appears to be having a good time through the bloodshed. Synopsis: An ancient evil is unleashed in a small Alaskan town leaving a trail of death and destruction as it passes from host to host. The only hope of survival lies with a...

Dolph Lundgren is a cowboy hunting down an ancient demon with some bizarre rules in the trailer for Don’t Kill It...
Dolph Lundgren continues to find fun projects to keep himself busy. His latest looks really quite good fun, too.
Don’t Kill It might resemble an odd amalgam of a Western film and television’s Supernatural, at first glance. However, pitting the action in a sleepy small town, this particular piece of demon-hunting fiction puts an intriguing spin on things. Fedora and duster-rocking demon hunter Jebediah Woodley (Lundgren) wanders into town, looking to make a powerful and ancient demon his next quarry. However, there’s a catch with this one, since whoever kills the demon’s host body ends up becoming its next host, creating a horrendously homicidal chain of events. Splendid.
Consequently, even a slayer of demons as seasoned as Woodley is going to...

At the beginning of the year Big Ass Spider director Mike Mendez posted a pic of himself having lunch with Dolph Lundgren and we all thought that was pretty cool. This is after all, the Dolph Lundgren. Mendez was mum on the details of 'why' back then but Variety is reporting that Lundgren will star in Mendez's new horror flick Don't Kill It.Lundgren's demon hunter will team with a reluctant FBI agent to battle an ancient evil unleashed in a small Alaskan town, leaving a trail of death and destruction as it passes from host to host.Sales will be launched at Cannes and production is supposed to begin in July.
