Sony has pulled back the curtain on this week’s PlayStation Plus update, revealing a huge list of discounted games and two new additions to the free Instant Game Collection; Star Wars Pinball and Darkstalkers Chronicle: The Chaos Tower.
As part of Zen Pinball 2, the Star Wars Pinball Dlc pack adds three licensed tables to the collection; Star Wars: Episode V The Empire Strikes Back, The Clone Wars, and Boba Fett. If you have not yet experienced any of Zen Studios’ pinball tables, the Star Wars collection is a fantastic place to start. For my money, Zen Studios is the premier developer of digital pinball tables (FarSight Studios comes in a very close second in my book), and this set of Dlc really shows off what they are capable of.
Aside from the Instant Game Collection additions, Sony has packed this week’s PlayStation Plus update with a ton of discounts and special offers.

Once upon a time, Japan was the be-all and end-all of game development, but things have changed considerably. Consoles nowadays are overflowing with quality software from the Us, Europe, and parts elsewhere, from both major publishers and indie developers.
It would seem that the best that the east has to offer is usually found on the smaller screen, on handhelds. And Sony is highlighting this fact with a brad new sale going on right now for the Vita.
The two week long sale began yesterday and runs until the 26th. Everything is divided up into two separate helpings.
Week one includes Atelier Totori Plus, Gravity Rush, Guilty Gear Accent Xx Core + R, Ninja Gaiden Sigma 2 Plus, Ridge Racer, Silent Hill Book of Memories, Soul Sacrifice, Street Fighter X Tekken, and Touch My Katamari.
It's worth noting that Book of Memories was actually developed in America, but it's...

Back in February, the formation of BlancBiehn Productions was announced. The initial plan is to produce three grindhouse-style movies starring Michael Biehn and the first project has just been revealed:
Los Angeles – BlancBiehn Productions announced today casting on their latest project entitled Treachery. Written and directed by Travis Romero (“White Collar”, The Victim), the film stars Michael Biehn (Aliens, The Divide) leading an ensemble cast of six including Jennifer Blanc Biehn (The Divide, “Party of Five”), Sarah Butler (I Spit on Your Grave, The Philly Kid) Caitlin Keats (Kiss of the Damned, Kill Bill 2), Chris Meyer (Among Friends, Hard Breakers) and Matthew Ziff (Truck Stop, Little Kings).
The film captures the controversy between Henry and his estranged son, Nathan. Reunited at a friend’s small wedding party, in a remote cabin, Henry and Nathan have their usual awkward interactions. Nathan, accompanied by his girlfriend Cecilia, seeks his father’s approval.

There's been no shortage of suggestions as to who should play the new Superman in Zack Snyder's big-screen reboot.
Among the names thrown around is True Blood star Joe Manganiello, who is full of praise for the filmmaker. "He's an unbelievable director, I'm a huge fan of 300," he recently said, adding that he'd be honoured to play the Man of Steel.
Snyder has confirmed the film is a restart with no connection to any previous films, which effectively rules out bringing back Brandon Routh, star of Bryan Singer's Superman Returns.
But what about other characters such as the villain? If Snyder is starting with a clean slate, we can also reject a reappearance by Kevin Spacey as Lex Luthor.
We don't know yet if Lex will be part of the story but one actor has contacted The Geek Files to put himself forward as a contender for the archvillain.
