Trivia:
Spanish voices of the main stars of the series are dubbed by Concha Valero (Monica), Albert Mieza (Ross), José Posada (Chandler), Alicia Laorden (Rachel), Daniel García (Joey) and Alba Sola (Phoebe). more
Goofs:
Continuity: In early seasons there are wood boards in Monica's apartment that go from the floor to the ceiling. In later seasons there are only wood boards by the fridge. In fact, certain directors for the show enjoyed putting their own mark on the episodes they directed. In the case of the visible wooden beam furthest "downstage" it was known as the mark of Kevin Bright, and would appear every time he directed an episode. more
Quotes:
[Joey just got ordained via the internet so that he could perform Monica and Chandler's wedding]
Joey: Hey, I started working on what I'm going to say at the ceremony. Wanna hear it?
Monica, Chandler: Yeah.
Joey: We are gathered here today on this joyous occasion to celebrate the special love that Monica and Chandler share.
[Monica and Chandler look impressed]
Joey: It is a love based of giving and receiving as well as having and sharing. And the love that they give and have is shared and received. And through this having and giving and sharing and receiving, we too can share and love and have... and receive.
[later]
Joey: Okay, you guys, I've got a little more written... are you ready?
Chandler: Yeah, yeah. Okay.
Joey: When I think of the love that these two givers and receivers share, I cannot help but envy the lifetime ahead of having and loving and giving... and then I can't think of a good word for right here.

Ask anybody which TV-show is their favorite, and they are most likely to say "Friends". Since the first episode premiered in America in September 1994, millions of people tune in every week to see Rachel, Monica, Phoebe, Joey, Chandler and Ross cope with their lives in Manhattan.

Before "Friends", the six actors who play the main characters were all unknown. Today, Jennifer, Courteney, Lisa, Matt, Matthew and David are six of the most known people in the world.

what is it that makes this show so funny? I don't even know if I can answer that. For the past ten years, the world have been able to follow the gang's lives, which are very funny. Can it be Chandler's jokes, Monica's pedantidity, Phoebe's songs or Joey's stupidity that makes Friends to the most liked TV-show in the history? My answer would be that all of the six main characters contribute in their own special ways. Alone, they are useless because something's obviously missing, but together, they complete each other which results in six hilarious people.

The first seasons were funnier than the later, but the show is still great, and it's very sad that they have decided to cancel it. But that's understandable, since quitting when they are at the very top is better than to be forced to quit because of low ratings.
