When Catherine Standish (Saskia Reeves) is kidnapped by rogue MI5 agents, it’s up to her fellow Slow Horse agents to save her in the first trailer for Season 3 of “Slow Horses.”
Apple TV+ released the preview on Tuesday for the British spy show, which returns with the first two episodes of Season 3 on Nov. 29. A new episode premieres every Wednesday through Dec. 27.
“I need a team of good agents, but I just have the Slow Horses,” laments slovenly senior agent Jackson Lamb (Gary Oldman), who never misses a chance to crack wise, even when lives are on the line.
Later in the clip, River Cartwright (Jack Lowden) calls from a besieged warehouse to tell Lamb, “There are men outside with guns. Some backup might be handy.”
Lamb’s nonchalant reply, “Well, I’m busy.”
Responds a frustrated Cartwright, “Ok, thanks, I’m sure the situation will resolve itself.”

The Masked Singer is back on our screens, turning the nation into at-home detectives as they try to figure out who this year’s celebrity contestants are.
The singing competition series, in which celebrities compete anonymously behind giant anthropomorphic costumes, returned on New Year’s Day, with the first group of contestants all performing.
Among the group was Phoenix, who was shown in their Vt standing within a grand castle and explaining in a posh accent that “I am rather hot, aren’t I?”
“Fire” by Kasabian then played as Phoenix said that they had risen from the ashes and been “born anew” and “reincarnated”.
They also said that they were good with “mysteries” and “following a trail”, while Phoenix was shown inspecting foot prints with a magnifying glass.
Phoenix’s first performance was a jazz version of “Get Lucky” by Daft Punk. While performing, they sang with an American accent.

Noel Gallagher is a man who always has something to say - so he should feel right at home on Match of the Day 2.
The High Flying Birds frontman and life-long Manchester City fan will join the show's regulars this weekend as a guest pundit - so consider this your 'Sunday Morning Evening Call'.
Gallagher will host a feature on his team's fixture against Newcastle United - if it doesn't work out for the Blues at the Etihad, he might be left asking 'Where Did It All Go Wrong', naturally.
The former Oasis star will also offer considered observations on Sunday's fixtures - Southampton v Liverpool, Everton v Leicester and Tottenham Hotspur v West Ham - giving him a national platform to 'Go Let It Out' (ahem).
Gallagher has appeared on BBC Sport before, interviewing former City striker Mario Balotelli for Football Focus in 2012.

He's the man who "invented world music" and who created the first ever music video using Plasticine. Yes, we're talking about '70s rock legend Brian Pern - the frontman of Thotch.
Ok, Brian Pern might not be real, but Simon Day and Rhys Thomas's surreal music doc spoof is so on the money, it feels like Pern and Thotch are very much the bona fide article. Is the Day of the Triffids album not on iTunes yet?
With incredible guest appearances from the likes of Roger Moore, Martin Freeman and Kathy Burke, Brian Pern: A Life in Rock is the funniest TV show on right now.
We caught up with Day and Thomas to chat about its success.
First things first, I was a huge fan of your last comedy show Bellamy's People.
Simon Day: "Oh, don't get us started on that."
Honestly, I loved it. That didn't get a second series.

The panel show that would make Pinocchio fairly flustered returns for an eighth series. Fiona Bruce, Claudia Winkleman, Steve Jones and Micky Flanagan join the regulars this evening, and will all have to tell (or pretend to tell) outrageously tall tales in an attempt to hoodwink the other team.
Who performed a striptease at a boring hen do? Who saved P Diddy's life? Did either of these things actually happen? Find out tonight.
Celebrity Big Brother: Live Final: Channel 5, 9pm
The eventful series will finally come to a close tonight, with Emma Willis on hand to crown the celebrity winner. Expect snap interviews, countless boos, and runners-up who will try (and probably fail) not to look too gutted.

Katy B has insisted that she will not be joining the next series of The Voice UK.
The singer served as a Battle Advisor to coach Ricky Wilson on the BBC One talent show earlier this year, but said she isn't ready to commit to a full-time role in one of the big red chairs following Kylie Minogue's departure.
"My mum called me the other day and was like, 'You're the favourite on Coral to take [Kylie's] spot!' I was like, 'Really?'" Katy B told Digital Spy at BBC Radio 1's Big Weekend in Glasgow.
"I would definitely want a little more experience. I don't think I'm ready to be a judge.

Russell Brand and Jonathan Ross have told of their regret and embarrassment about sparking the 'Sachsgate' scandal which engulfed the BBC, as they discussed the incident together on TV for the first time.
Brand said he was wrapped up in the comedy value of their stunt and lost perspective of "reality" when they left near-the-knuckle messages during a prank call to actor Andrew Sachs which caused outrage in October 2008.

Radio 1's Big Weekend is famous for its unlikely settings (previous venues include Sunderland, Wiltshire and last year's Carlisle), so this year's decision to hold the free event in Hackney in support of the Olympics was somewhat of an expected anomaly. Previous headliners include Lady GaGa, The Foo Fighters and Madonna, but this year's lineup promised to deliver a higher grade of artists throughout. Early comers who beat the two-mile tailback were treated to local resident and festival ambassador Leona Lewis, who opened proceedings on Saturday's main stage with a rendition of Diddy Dirty Money's 'Coming Home'. She sounded re-energized and apparently hungry to release new material as she debuted 'Come Alive' from her upcoming album. Rock was catered for almost solely by Kasabian, who struggled to compete against the urban-pop (more)...

Despite being hailed the best at some coveted prize-giving events, Justin Bieber ends up bagging three nominations in 'worst' and 'least' departments of 2011 Shockwaves NME Awards. The pint-sized singer is up for Villain of the Year along with Axl Rose, David Cameron, Nick Clegg and Simon Cowell.
Last year's winner of the meanest character is Kanye West. Now, the rap mogul gets three nods for Best Solo Artist, Best Band Blog or Twitter and Hero of the Year. In the latest category, he is facing off the likes of Gerard Way, Julian Assange and Lady GaGa.
Also, Bieber's choice of fashion made him appear as one of the nominees for Least Stylish star. He is listed in this category alongside Cheryl Cole, Ke$ha, GaGa and Liam Gallagher. His third chance to win a 'prize' in the upcoming prize-giving event comes from his debut album "My World".
The 2009 effort is up for Worst Album.

Winners of 2010 Shockwaves NME Awards have been unraveled in a gala ceremony taking place at the O2 Academy Brixton on Wednesday, February 24, and Jonas Brothers has once again come out with two of the unwanted kudos. For two consecutive years, the musical trio were voted Worst Band and Worst Album makers.
This year, the pop rock band who weren't attending the show came ahead of Green Day, Oasis, Paramore and Jls in the Worst Band category. As for the Worst Album prize, they collected it for their "Lines Vines Trying Times" album. They 'beat' the likes of Lady Gaga, Green Day, Arctic Monkeys and U2.

Tom Meighan has complained that his band are wrongly perceived as a right-wing "lad rock" group. The Kasabian frontman told The Guardian that he was upset when one interviewer suggested that it might have been unwise for him to wear a Paul Smith union flag shirt on stage.
