When in London, go pantless. Anya Taylor-Joy did exactly that while on the promotional tour for her latest movie project, Furiosa: A Mad Max Saga, in London.
Serving look after look, Anya Taylor-Joy hit the promo trail parading her long, slim legs, and I’m not complaining. She donned a daring black bodysuit evocative of the Playboy Bunny for the London premiere of Furiosa and an olive-green coat dress that exudes military flair for the photocall.

Peacock’s weekly murder mystery from creator Rian Johnson has completed debut season, with audiences comfortable with its howcatchem format, episodic cast overhauls, and Charlie’s (Natasha Lyonne) innate ability to know when people are lying. The series was renewed for a second season, promising Charlie’s prolonged survival — and the return of that irresistible Plymouth Barracuda.
So who won “Poker Face” Season 1? Which crime stole the show, which killers really killed, and when will we see Beatrix Hasp (Rhea Perlman)? We don’t have all the answers, but we definitely won’t lie.
Here’s every episode of “Poker Face” Season 1, ranked.
10. Episode 2: “The Night Shift”
This is the first episode where “Poker Face” truly shows its hand, with promising structure if not the most compelling murder of the season. Sandwich artist and TikTok sensation Damian (Brandon Michael Hall) buys a winning lottery ticket from Sara (Megan Suri...

Exclusive: Peacock has an ace up its sleeve with Rian Johnson‘s Poker Face.
The series jumped to No. 2 on Nielsen’s U.S. streaming originals list for the week of January 30 to February 5 with 641M minutes viewed. That’s up from the 547M viewing minutes it managed in its first week on Peacock, with its four-episode debut.
The No. 1 spot on the streaming originals list once again went to Ginny & Georgia, though it’s worth nothing that the Netflix series had 20 available episodes to help bolster its 900M viewing minutes for the week.
In terms of average audience, Poker Face takes the top spot since the series only had five episodes available at the time.
Poker Face, which hails from MRC and T-Street and stars Natasha Lyonne, scored an early Season 2 renewal in February. New episodes of Season 1 are currently debuting every Thursday through March 9. This week’s episode is directed by Johnson.

No lie, “Poker Face” will enter the Emmy awards race as a comedy. The show is an hour-long whodunit but also contains plenty of comedic elements, which is why Peacock has decided to enter it in that lane. News comes as awards consultants across town make the final decision on where to place their programs, as the Television Academy officially opens this year’s Emmy submissions starting Feb. 21.
For example, on Friday, Variety exclusively reported that HBO’s “The White Lotus” would submit in the drama space, after the TV Academy ruled that it no longer qualified as a limited series (due to the return of star Jennifer Coolidge)
In the case of “Poker Face,” the decision to enter in comedy comes as the show continues earn strong reviews from critics. “Poker Face” is currently “99% certified fresh” on Rotten Tomatoes. Despite its whodunit nature, insiders note that Lyonne is widely...

The "human lie detector" perpetually on the run is coming back for even more sleuthing-related adventures. The latest "howcatchem" series from the mind of filmmaker Rian Johnson has quickly become a hit thanks to the leading charms of Natascha Lyonne and the cavalcade of new (and some familiar) faces she encounters throughout her episodic travels week in and week out. In fact, "Poker Face" has garnered strong-enough viewership that Peacock has decided to go ahead and green light a second season, before the first even comes to a close.
The streaming service revealed the news themselves earlier today, announcing the "No bulls**t" news in a way that even Lyonne's Charlie Cale would appreciate. Rian Johnson, master of the modern “whodunit,” is taking on the “howcatchem” with the Jan. 26 launch of the Natasha Lyonne-led Peacock series “Poker Face.” While the show revolves around Lyonne’s Charlie Cale, a human lie-detector whose circumstances throw her into murder-mystery-solving mode each week, Johnson revealed how Benoit Blanc (Daniel Craig), the character at the center of his films “Knives Out” and “Glass Onion,” is also connected to “Poker Face” in an ultra-meta way.
For those who have yet to see “Glass Onion: A Knives Out Mystery,” Lyonne makes a cameo playing herself on a five-way Zoom call with Benoit Blanc, Stephen Sondheim, Angela Lansbury and Kareem Abdul-Jabbar, a group of friends who all like a good puzzle. Lyonne joins her other mystery-loving buddies in trying to get Blanc, who is sitting in the tub, out of his current funk.

Poker Face, Rian Johnson’s drama series starring Natasha Lyonne as a human bullsh*t detector, wasn’t conceived as a limited series and the Knives Out filmmaker said there are “endless possibilities” to continue in success.
Lyonne stars as Charlie, an effortlessly cool, cheap beer drinking woman with a preternatural ability to solve crimes. After a casino boss seeks her out to use her abilities for nefarious purposes, Charlie goes on the run and gets mixed up in more crimes.
Johnson says that it’s a “how to catch ‘em” rather than a whodunnit as the crime is front and center in each episode.
But while there’s one story that arcs through the ten-episode season, one involving Benjamin Bratt’s security expert, it’s ostensibly a procedural.

Being able to tell when people are lying is different from a power I would want. White lies can be harmless, but some truths are devastating, and the repairs necessary to move on come at a high mental price. No, thank you. In Peacock‘s Poker Face trailer, Natasha Lyonne is Charlie Cale, a person who can see through people’s bullshit and extract truth no matter the circumstances. Created by Rian Johnson, Poker Face finds Charlie hitting the road with her Plymouth Barracuda and, with every stop, encountering a new cast of characters and strange crimes she can’t help but solve.

Fresh off playing “Among Us” with Daniel Craig and Angela Lansbury in “Glass Onion,” Natasha Lyonne is reuniting with Rian Johnson and taking center stage in her own series of murder mysteries. The “Russian Doll” star leads the cast of “Poker Face,” a new Peacock series from Rian Johnson, and the streamer released the official trailer for the series on Thursday.
The mystery-of-the-week series sees Lyonne play Charlie Cale, a private detective in the mold of James Garner in “The Rockford Files” who is something of a human lie detector — she can instantly know when someone isn’t telling the truth, no matter how airtight their alibi is. On the road in her yellow ‘69 Plymouth Barracuda, Cale travels around America and ends up constantly stumbling upon strange new cases to solve along the way. Natasha Lyonne has an uncanny ability to tell when people are lying in the upcoming Peacock series, Poker Face.
The series hails from Knives Out and The Last Jedi helmer Rian Johnson. Throughout the 10-episode series, Lyonne’s Charlie shows off that preternatural ability by using it to solve crimes.
Among those crimes is a mysterious murder involving a host of characters, including Lil Rel Howery as a town sheriff who insists there was no foul play. In a new trailer released Thursday Lyonne explains “there’s nothing mystical” about her lie detecting abilities, adding: “I can just tell.”
After someone seeks her out to use her abilities (likely for nefarious purposes), Charlie goes on the run — but she continues to solve crimes along the way. The new trailer is linked below.

After carving out a path to success from various high-concept indies and hit original films to the biggest canvas of them all in "Star Wars: The Last Jedi," filmmaker Rian Johnson saw that he had no more worlds to conquer and wept. Just kidding! The writer/director promptly capitalized on his mainstream success by churning out "Knives Out," the star-studded whodunnit that lit the box office on fire and almost singlehandedly breathed new life into the murder-mystery genre, which had been stagnant for far too many years. Now, it seems like it's Johnson's mission statement to keep the good times rolling with a brand-new series, filled to the brim with all sorts of familiar faces.
We've known that Rian Johnson's grand return to television would come in the form of a Peacock show titled "Poker Face," starring Natasha Lyonne ("Russian Doll") as the lead detective. Today brings us our first...

“There’s been a murder, and I’m trying to figure out what happened,” says Lyonne’s starring character, scrappy protagonist Charlie Cale, in the teaser trailer (below). Billed as a mystery-of-the-week drama, the 10 hour-long episodes launch Jan. 26 with four episodes, followed by a weekly release on Thursdays.

Chloe, Amazon Prime’s new twisty drama, follows social media-obsessed Becky Green who obsessively tracks the life of her seemingly perfect friend Chloe … until she mysteriously dies.
Following Chloe’s death, Becky assumes an alter-ego and through deceit, worms her way into Chloe’s circle of friends at the risk of losing who she is in her quest to find out what happened to Chloe.
Chloe stars Pippa Bennett-Warner and Brandon Michael Hall recently sat down for an exclusive with uInterview founder Erik Meers to discuss cyberstalking on the show.
“I think everybody lurks, and I think if they say they don’t lurk, I’m not sure they’re telling the truth,” Bennett-Warner said. “I think immediately, the show is relatable because we recognize that in ourselves. I think it also shows the vulnerable position that can be conjured by tapping into social media and lurking. Lurking can make you feel vulnerable.

As has been pointed many times so far this year, 2022 has been a treasure trove for stories about con artists. In the TV world, spring brought plenty of stories chronicling how people in the recent past have hoodwinked their way to enormous wealth and cultural cachet purely by virtue of lulling the right people into a false sense of security. Of course, 2010s tech and entrepreneurial climbers do not have a monopoly on grift, in worlds either real or fictional.
Premiering in the UK back on February and arriving on Prime Video this week, the new psychological drama “Chloe” makes the perfect bookend to a half-year trend of people tricking themselves into situations far greater than they imagined.
Much like those other stories, “Chloe” begins on a humble scale. Becky Green (Erin Doherty) spends her idle moments scrolling social media, in whatever time she has in between taking care of...

The Season 3 finale of HBO Max’s Alia Shawkat-fronted dramedy Search Party came with a major sigh of relief and the unexpected kidnapping that brings it all full circle for Dory Sief.
From creators Sarah-Violet Bliss, Charles Rogers and Michael Showalter, Search Party follows a close group of twentysomethings as they find themselves swept up in the trial of the century. Dory (Shawkat) and Drew (John Reynolds) are thrust in the national spotlight after they are charged for the murder of private investigator, Keith Powell (Ron Livingston). Jess would like everyone to be comfortable. That means everyone, from her distant boss who doesn’t seem eager to develop Jess’s passion projects to the well-meaning waitress who casually tosses off a comment that’s perhaps not exactly racist, but certainly rooted in prejudiced thinking. She’d like her mother, whipsmart but not always aware of the weight of her words, to be comfortable. She’d like her ex-boyfriend, eager to please but not receptive to Jess’s wishes, to be comfortable. Her best friends, who have asked Jess to serve as a surrogate to their baby, she’d definitely like them to be comfortable, too. Jess? Her comfort comes second to everyone else, hell, maybe even third.
In Jeremy Hersh’s smart moral drama “The Surrogate,” Jess’s bent towards accommodating others is pushed into extreme perimeters, but the microbudget feature never wavers from lived-in believability. As Jess,...
