Aux is the latest film from Evolutionary Films and stars John Rhys-Davies (Lord of the Rings, Indiana Jones, The Shannara Chronicles), Rosie Fellner (Liar, Heist, Age of Heroes), Tristam Summers (Eastenders, Hollyoaks, Tin Holiday), Paul Reynolds (Terminal, Level Up, Eddie The Eagle), Tanya Franks (Chewing Gum, Broadchurch, Liz & Dick), Jack Derges (Eastenders, Humans) and Theo Devaney (Supernatural, Once Upon A Time In London).
Deep in the woods, two boys discover the entrance to a secret military bunker that has remained hidden since World War II. They awaken something so deadly that one boy doesn’t make it out alive and the other flees for his life, only to be hit by a car. A police investigation begins but, one by one, even the armed police are hunted and killed in grotesque and almost ritualistic ways. Meanwhile, at a local nursing home, an elderly WWII veteran watches all of this unfold...

We’ve got questions, and you’ve (maybe) got answers! With another week of TV gone by, we’re lobbing queries left and right about shows including Once Upon a Time, Chicago Fire, Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. and Supernatural!
1 | Was Hawaii Five-0’s Max supposed to look like the boy from Up?
2 | TVLine reader Sarah asks: “On Blue Bloods, when did Nicky drop her second surname, Boyle, and only use Reagan? (Using the bonus of the family name?)”
3 | Is Eli’s closet-office on The Good Wife just a tiny (pun intended) bit too sitcom-y? As for an Alicia-Lucca law partnership: Yea or nay?...

“The Simpsons” boss worries Sunday’s major death may be overhyped: We never said we’re killing off an “iconic” character “I’ve done everything I can to temper any disappointment by saying that, although the press is claiming this is an ‘iconic’ character, we never said that,” says executive producer Al Jean, in an interview with TVLine. “We just said it’s a ‘beloved’ character. I think it may have become overhyped, though I’ve never heard the term ‘underhyped’ before. Either way, it’s an emotional story, and it’s one we’re really proud of.” Plus: What TV critics said of “The Simpsons” when it debuted, and how “The Simpsons” looks at night -- illustrated. “Family Guy’s” crossover with “The Simpsons” is alternately fascinating, frustrating, amusing and annoying In other words, it’s your typical “Family Guy” episode. “Family Guy” Season 13: Stewie will get pregnant...

The first season of AMC’s Turn wasn’t exactly the shot heard ’round the world. Facing a slate of popular Sunday-night competition like Game of Thrones and The Good Wife, Craig Silverstein’s Revolutionary War drama had to fight for respect—something it ultimately won with a riveting finale that helped secure a second season. Jamie Bell stars as Abraham Woodhull, a Long Island cabbage farmer initially straddling the fence as the American uprising turns into a full-fledged war. His father (Kevin McNally) and wife (Meegan Warner) are staunch Tory loyalists; his childhood friends, including the love of his...

She's not a doctor; she just plays one on television.
But in real life, she has the "role" of Meryl Streep's eldest daughter.
Mamie Gummer depicted the world of medicine last year in ABC's "Off the Map," and she takes an offbeat slant on it again as The CW premieres the seriocomic "Emily Owens, M.D." Tuesday, Oct. 16. Gummer's title character, a recent medical-school graduate, is alarmed that the themes of her insecurity-ridden youth apparently are repeating themselves at the Denver hospital that employs her ... along with her former crush (Justin Hartley, "Smallville") and an old enemy (Aja Naomi King).
"I'm getting a lot of questions like, 'What was high school like for you?' " Gummer muses. "I've kind of blocked it out, but a good friend affectionately reminded me that yes, I was a dork. I was not a cool kid in high school."
The fictional Emily certainly isn't cool,...

New York -- On "Emily Owens, M.D.," Mamie Gummer plays a med school graduate just starting out as an intern.
No longer will Emily be the nerdy schoolgirl plagued by nervous perspiration, exclusion from the cool crowd and awkwardness with boys! She has reached a long-awaited turning point: adulthood. At least, that's what she tells herself.
Except her new life as a doctor feels uncomfortably like her former life. Denver Memorial Hospital feels eerily like high school, with its cliques and gossip and a fellow intern who, gorgeous and popular, was Emily's nemesis back in high school.
As a doctor, Emily knows her stuff.
But on a personal level, she's still dorky and naive.
"She's really smart," says Gummer, "which rescues her when her heart and lack of confidence get her into jams. She's very easy to embrace. I really love her!"
With a little luck, the audience will love her,...

This spring Martha Gellhorn is enjoying a resurgence. Nicole Kidman did a fantastic job portraying her in HBO's "Hemingway & Gellhorn." Now the play, "Love Saves the Day," which Gellhorn co-wrote with Virginia Cowles, opens tonight (June 18).
Gellhorn (1908-1998) should never have gone away, prompting a resurgence. She is that important, yet it's not surprising most people don't know who she was. Yes, she was Hemingway's third wife, and hated being defined as such. Gellhorn was a fearless war correspondent, novelist and activist/journalist.
She had stowed away on a French hospital ship so she could be at the Normandy invasion. She scooped most, including her famous ex-husband. Gellhorn was brilliant and compassionate; I won't bother trying to hide my respect and admiration.
So I went into the Mint Theater rooting for this, and the reliably interesting theater company, housed just off Broadway, upstairs in an old building, does not disappoint.

It's about to become really apparent, but I am absolutely obsessed with Mamie Gummer. And it's not because she's Meryl Streep's daughter -- in fact, when I first witnessed one of Mamie's magnificent performances, I had no idea she was Streep's spawn. I simply thought her to be a classic beauty. Which she is. Once I learned of her lineage, it only made me love her more.
Oh, and don't even get me started on the knowledge that she's married to Benjamin Walker, star of Abraham Lincoln: Vampire Hunter. But this is not about her personal life, it's about her professional prowess -- something she'll bring to The Big C starting with Sunday's all-new episode. I caught up with Mamie to talk about reuniting with Laura Linney on the Showtime series after I gushed a bit about her work on The Good Wife. We also talk about her potential fall pilot and what it's like growing...
