Actually a zero

Normally, I can agree that there are going to be people who like certain things and other people who just don't like those same things. However, I honestly cannot understand how anybody enjoyed this ridiculously stupid episode! The two actors are so bad and the writing is sophomoric. This episode had absolutely nothing to do with the rest of the show. Even in isolation there was no entertainment factor whatsoever. I really don't understand what the writers were thinking by including this episode in the series. I have been enjoying the rest of the show and I am still interested in how it concludes, but this was a total waste of time.

Ridiculousness

I do not think I have ever watched something that had so much promise and potential reach such a catastrophically ridiculous end. Episode one had me hooked with a great premise, combined with good action and a sensible story as the show progressed the plot line developed well, but with an increasing amount of nonsensical, over the top abilities from the heroin. I stopped counting how many two hundred pound grown ass men, who, by the way, are trained body guards and assassins, this one hundred and ten pound woman kept pummeling in fist fights. Ultimately we see her get shot in the abdomen, walk several miles back to her house with no medical treatment, and then physically dominate some more bad guys without any trouble. Just plain silly!

Upgraded (2024)

We were genuinely surprised at how ridiculously boring and mind numbingly dull Upgraded is!!! This movie is neither romantic nor comedic. There are zero laughs and absolutely no chemistry. At no point do they make us want the couple to be together. We bailed after sixty minutes. I am actually angry that we wasted 8:00 to 9:00 on a Friday night figuring out that we should have watched a different movie. The acting was acceptable, but I am assuming the script was written during the writer's strike. And by the way, Marisa Tomei is a very successful actress - so why in the hell did she that horrible and thoroughly unbelievable foreign accent?

Kimi (2022)

Surprisingly Bad

After watching the trailer, and I was excited about seeing a really good thriller! I thought the concepts was great; kind of a woman in the window meets modern technology. The biggest problem is that Zoë Kravitz is the only professional actor in the movie. The entire rest of the cast is literally community theater level actors. They are so bad! It really is enough to ruin the experience. Additionally, there was a bizarre choice of music that made scenes that were intended to be intense seem campy and silly. The ending is far-fetched and ridiculous. Overall a big disappointment and one I cannot recommend.

Christmas with the Campbells (2022)

They tried to make a raunchy Hallmark Christmas movie, but the language was so pathetically forced it was just sad. Dropping F bombs just for the sake of having them in the movie does not work. They went for shock and awe and failed miserably. Add to that the absolutely horrific high school play acting and you have a completely unwatchable, boring piece of crap. This movie doesn't deserve any more words, but according to the required characters counter in order to submit a review I have to keep going. Therefore, in conclusion, Christmas with the Campbells really, really, really,really, really sucks.

Dog (I) (2022)

Fantastic Movie!

It is a classic "it will make you laugh and make you cry" movie. Extremely well executed with a great story, very good acting, beautiful scenery, and a wonderful musical score. It is engaging and fun from start to finish. I honestly do not understand why the overall rating for this movie is not higher. People who give this movie less than an eight like to eat uncooked pop tarts. Seriously, if you do not love this movie then you are probably a New England Patriots fan and a morning person. I'm guessing that the people who did not like it really enjoyed Gigli and their favorite actor is Alec Baldwin.

Nothing happens. Two dysfunctional people have boring conversations in a variety of settings. That's it. It's not funny, tragic, or exciting. Boring, boring, boring. We watched an hour and gave up.

They've Given Up

We were all in on this show for 3 seasons. Last season's finale was awesome. Then this season they just gave up. They completely abandoned the main plot and chased stupid rabbits. Why does John care about a hippy protester? It makes no sense. Then there's Kacey and the wolf; absolutely the dumbest thing this show has ever done! I give the first three season a 9. I give this season a 5.

Spectacular story, fantastic twists, amazing ending! Yes, Mallory is super annoying and Andrea Anders is a terrible actress with a ridiculous fake accent, but the two main actresses more than make up for it. Best series we've watched in a long time.

Just watch it and decide for yourself. I'm so tired of reviewers picking apart every detail of a movie while making ridiculous comparisons to real life. It's fiction! It's a movie! Just pop some popcorn, pull up the blanket, and enjoy.

Literally nothing happens. The "movie" is someone filming a really boring person who drives around and never does anything interesting. There are no ups or downs, no excitement or sadness, no conflict or resolution. This is absolutely the most nothing film I've ever seen.

Straightforward Psychological Thriller

Apparently this one wasn't for everybody based on the reviews. This season dealt with a deeply disturbed character searching for meaning and not finding it. Unfortunately for him he has a detective trying to help him who is also deeply flawed. It's well written and well acted. Intense and exciting.

Don't do it. Don't even start watching. Guaranteed you will be disappointed. The first few episodes are pretty good and then they skip the expected bombshell climax. The series jumps into the future and it becomes a serious snooze fest. The finale is super lame. It felt like the writers just got tired and decided to stop.

You might like this movie, but only if you're into science fiction/time travel. The trailer doesn't tell you that the main character travels to the 1920's every night. It is so stupid. Additionally, the story moves incredibly slowly. Owen Wilson is likable and the scenery is beautiful. Other than that there's nothing.

Love McConaughey, hate this movie. It had a great set up and I was expecting a cool twist. Instead they gave me science fiction fantasy. It would have been great if they had stuck to the story. So stupid-please don't waste your time.

I know what you're thinking: Scandal was awesome, Big Little Lies was great...Kerry and Reese together? This is going to be fantastic! Unfortunately, it's not. The first 2 episodes will suck you in. After that it's a downhill spiral into hackneyed politics and stereotypes with the most ridiculous ending possible. If this review saves one person eight hours of disappointment then it was worth writing.

I thought this was a comedy. It is not. Also, it is not a drama. It's like watching a home movie with two people who don't really love, or like, each other very much. And then nothing happens. Two of my favorite comedic actors are in this bucket of boredom and that makes me sad.

Super Funny

This movie was way funnier than I expected! I assumed it would just be silly and good for a few laughs. It turned out to be so much better. Great acting, great story, great scenery. It's been awhile since I was in a theater with everyone laughing out loud frequently. Don't listen to the prudes and haters. Go see this movie!
