The Last of Us: Long, Long Time (2023) Season 1, Episode 3

Masterpiece

This was tv storytelling at its absolute finest. They told an enthralling story in all its complexity it one episode. Touching, moving, poignant and beautiful. If you enjoy engrossing tv and being swept up in a story, do yourself a favor and check this episode out. This show is setting itself up to be everything the walking dead wanted to be. Nick Offerman took his character to places I didn't know he could reach and really showed the depth of his talent. I never had the chance to play the game but after watching these first few episodes I think I may have to go out and buy it. Cannot wait to see what they have in store for us next.

The Woman in the House (2022)

Wow.....

So this started with a lot of promise, but the farther it went the more unbelievable it became. What's the deal with the handyman?? It's taken him how long to install a mailbox lololol. And who would take their daughter to work at a maximum security prison?? Lol and leave her alone in a room with "massacre Mike"? BWAHAHAHAHAHA.

Frailty (2001)

Movie perfection

If you want to treat yourself to a perfect psychological movie experience watch this movie. Absolutely genius acting, directing and story. The tension this movie builds is palpable. The ending comes out of nowhere and will leave you shook.

Decent start

Wow how pathetic a life do you have to have to review a show just because you don't like the relationships in it, lookin at you Falconeer lol. Don't listen to the butthurt princess, this show is off to a decent start. The first episode sets things up really well and I have high hopes for this show.

The Many Saints of Newark (2021)

Not what I expected

Just finished watching this and it is not quite what we thought it was going to be. We went in thinking this was going to show us how Tony soprano became who he was in the show. It was quite the letdown. He focused more on Christophers father and Toni was more of an outlier. Way too many questions are still left after watching it. When Johnny got home from prison there was three kids. In the shower there was only two. What happened with the war between the Italians and the black gang? Could have spent more time cleaning things up.

The people giving this show negative reviews or one star reviews are the same people who find Two and a half men, the Big Bang theory and all the other formulaic sit com garbage funny. This show is well written and probably too smart for their small IQ's. This show is a good substitute for smart comedies like Community that aren't around anymore. And thank god we have a something funny like this back on tv

Castle Rock (2018–2019)

Amazing show

Wow the first season was a little rocky, no pun intended, the second season was an absolute amazing show to watch. He kept you in suspense the whole season, and the ending could not have been done better. I cannot wait as I am holding my breath for the third season to come out! If they continue to build like they have this will be an American classic.

Look the fanboys want to come on here and bash a movie because it's not Marvel or DC and claim that any good reviews are fake. Well they're just idiots. This is a movie that actually requires you to think, and a lot of them cannot do that. Is it a perfect super hero movie? No. Is it from a different vein and have it's own universe? Yes. Give it a try. The ending may not be what you're expecting but it will definitely not be what you think it will.

I like to think I am pretty lenient in my ratings. I like some shows that others hate. But this is awful. There's a character in this show that I pray will die soon. And not because he's a bad character, but he is written so stupidly I cannot take it. You are trapped in a firehouse and finally find a weapon but fail to be able to use it? And by the way this has been going on for weeks now and only ONE person has ONE gun? Not a single other weapon? Wow just bad lol

Absolutely amazing film. Ever since I was a kid I would imagine what seeing a comic book brought to life would look like, well this is it. Thor and the Guardians Steal the show, but everyone really contributes to the success of this comic book masterpiece

Wind River (2017)

Gripping murder mystery

Found this movie very well made. Taut gripping story keeps you roped in until the final minutes. Beautiful cinematography makes for a well made story.
