War of the Worlds: The Attack (2023)

Wow this is awful. I couldn't finish. Amazingly the special effects weren't horrible, as little as there were. Mostly it's people talking in different areas of Britain. The acting is what makes it the worse. Wow just wow. At times it feels like they are reading lines from screen behind the camera. This isn't even a bad b movie. So badly made. Do not waste your time on this crap. Why can't anyone do justice to the book. Anyone giving this movie more than a one has bad taste. Do not even start to waste your time. Just bad bad. Bad bad bad. Ok they expect long reviews. Ok that's my bit.ok ten more characters.

Uncharted (2022)

Same as every treasure move

Same story line as every treasure movie. This is hallmark version of adventure treasure hunting movies. National treasure, Sahara, Indian jones, ... same old same old. Acting was awful. I like both of the guys but they seemed awful. Would not recommend. I knew the script as I watched. But if you are hungry for same old same old. Go for it. Meh.

The Ice Road (2021)

Gave it 2 stars because it was filmed in area I live, if not I'd have given it a one. Worse script ever. I swear all writers in Hollywood have the mentality of a 10 year old. The ending has to be some of the worst writing ever. Some stranger runs up to you to give you trash to comfort you?!? What the hell. Seriously the movie ends with some stranger giving someone trash. Lol.

Alita: Battle Angel (2019)

Like a Disney R rated movie with $&!?@" bite

Good story line. Amazing graphics. Easy to want character to succeed. Best part of the movie is that it is what I imagine a R rated Disney movie to be. Violent, swearing, pure revenge killings,.... Got into it. Worth a watch.

Oh my god awful. Horrible acting, not a single person acts well. Even the set is bad. Which redneck has perfectly cut grass at their hunting shack. Stupid script. Awful. Just awful. Can't believe it has 4.5 stars on here. Who are these people that vote so high.

Monster Hunter (2020)

Ok gave review 2 stars because actually made ok. The graphics, acting, costumes,... all not bad. But the script wow it's awful. Movie is non stop action but story line is bad. Can't believe I watched it to the end. So bad.

Just like every show. They keep milking it and milking it. Guess we are stupid enough to watch or there is nothing better on. Wow last episodes have been awful. Guessing the sets cost $500. Could have been filmed on one sound set. Guessing 3 camera setups per episode. Show is awful. Only reason keep watching wife cants stop a show till it's done. No matter how bad.

Cell (I) (2016)

Good start but rush ending.

Ok movie. Writing and some of the special effects needed work. The computer generated fire was awful. Story was rushed at the end. Was hard to follow. Could have been better. Seems like the ran out of money.

Don't watch if you don't love dogs. It's fun but little silly. Only so much you can do with a owner and dog. Was a fun watch. Watch with open mind.

The Rhythm Section (2020)

Movie script is a bit over done but it's ok. Acting and realism is done well. It's dark and human. The people are not super human even the main character. Lots of flaws and end doing things very sloppy. Which I like, makes it feel more real. Was surprised how quickly movie went. I wanted more at end. To me that's a good thing. Blake is definitely not portrait as a sec symbol in this movie.

The Secret: Dare to Dream (2020)

Ok movie but predictable

Ok not my normal choice for a movie but she wanted to watch it. :). It was ok. Story is a feel good script, bit predictable. Almost every part of the storyline that was supposed to be a surprise, I predicted before it happened. It is well casted, thought almost all actors were well chosen. Does have religious undertones, talks about a god being in control. Also a reason I took off a couple of stars for that. Atheist and don't have any use for god in a story line.

Crawl (I) (2019)

The glass in this movie is amazing. Holds back amazing amount of water and alligators. So unbelievable it's sick. Hated it.

Black Summer (2019–2021)

Ok wow not a lot of effort in making this show. If you like watching people run around the same town over and over, this show is for you. Cannot believe how cheap this set Is. This must be one of the first films this director has ever made. To me it has the feel of a film students movie. Most of the acting is actually not too bad. Other than they keep running around the same circle in the town. I do like that they are fast zombies and not be slow moving masses. Makes it a lot more believable that epidemic could start. The writing is also weak, all the people have emotional issues it seems. Guess it's a zombie apocalypse, guess people would have issues. Not really scary, more annoying how stupid are. Doubt this show will get a second season. Not close to walking dead.

The Last Man on Earth (2015–2018)

It has so much potential but...

The main character is so over the top, its almost embarrassing. I literally have to turn a way at times, he is so crazy. Not crazy funny, crazy bad over the top acting. The main character so over acts, you would swear the actor is the one paying for the show. I don't mind the silly story line. The main actor, just can't take it. I tried! Watched a complete episode and a half. I smiled but mostly felt embarrassed at that bad acting of the main character. The show seemed to have promise. I liked the story idea. The script isn't bad and the two lady characters are good. The acting by the woman, I have no issues with. To be honest I wanted the show to work. Waste of time.
