Ok look now, I understand that maybe in 2003 it wasn't that much of a cliche, but it still feels like a french version of Jason Voorhees.
The acting, cinematography, score, and dialogue are all top notch, but still the direction is so cliche, I imagine everyone born after the 90s will be bored by this movie.
Yes there are plot holes and physical inconsistencies in the movie, and the twist didn't really made the whole thing any better.
If you have been living under a rock and don't know absolutely any horror classics, you might be able to enjoy the movie, or if you're nodding off in front of the tv at a Friday night just to pass the time.
Don't get me wrong, the movie isn't more bad than good, but it's just boring and the pacing is kinda slow, so it makes you frustrated, and not on purpose.
That's all I got. Maybe my score is even a bit high.
