This movie is another example of failed concept. I do not know what the creators intentions were. Is this movie a drama, a horror movie or is it meant to be an adult sites content provider? Movie wants to be a bit of everything but fail to deliver. Yes sometimes it has nice cinematography but thats it. Shallow plot and script doesnt help either.

Awful writing
19 July 2020
Is it some kind of a scam? All the positive reviews, on different sites... I watched first two episodes and it's terribly bad. The plot looks like it was written by some sexually excited teenager. We really fell low as a society.

Wow.

I did not expected such a low rating here. I like the series a lot. There is everything you could want in this series. Cops, good story, lots of sex and cool actors. I'm glad that finally someone dared to make main character lesbian. I hope that the viewership of the series is good and will be the second season.

Great show, lots of laugh

I really liked this show. The only complain from me is that there are too many episodes to watch. I don't understand all the reviews here from angry women. What is wrong? Show is great and shouldnt be used in political battle. Relax.

Boring
23 October 2019
I really wanted to like it but it's not in the same league as movie. Boring, cliche. And It's another new HBO show with disgusting modern politics in it. It promotes racism towards white people. I'm tired of this. I want good story without propaganda. Time to cancel subscription and move to Amazon or Netflix.

Cliche, weak storyline and a lot of vulgarity
18 June 2019
I admit honestly. I was fooled by the reviews of well-known journalists. I read in reviews that it is a great and innovative series. Really? The story in this series is cliched and adds nothing to the subject. Boys are predators, girls are victims. Misogyny at it's best. Weak characters and dialogs. I have the impression that the only thing Euphoria has to offer is controversy. Lots of drugs, swearing and nudity of teenage characters, especially male. I know that actors are adults but it's still simply untasteful and totally unnecessary. HBO successively shifts the boundaries of good taste, why? So here comes the question. What was a purpose of creating Euphoria?

Why Sauvage isn't criticised for male objectification?
28 May 2019
This movie adds nothing to the subject. I have the impression that it gets good scores only because of explicit gay sex scenes. And here the problem arises. Why is the film "Sauvage" being worshiped by reviewers but every Kechiche's movies are criticized? In Sauvage, men are objectified. Their bodies are exposed in explicit way. In the Kechiche's movies women are objectified. Kechiche's movies are bashed but movie with male objectification is praised. What happened? Why are reviewers hypocrites?

Why so low score?
12 August 2018
I really enjoyed the movie. Dark and mysterious. Nice cast. By the way. Is the female nudity reason of poor reception? There's a lot of it in the movie. I exactly know in what world we live right now and many people want to make female nudity taboo again. Today there are not many films with females nude, but if any appears, it is always criticized.

Sad but true
16 May 2018
A film that in a blunt and true way shows what the real world is. It's sad but true. The world is not Wonder Woman, the world is brutal, if you are weak then you lose. It annoys me that all reviews of the film criticize the violence against women and the bluntness shown. Why? This story had to be shown just like that. The film is based on facts and these facts were brutal. Why are all reviewers so politically correct today? It limits directors! Hypocrisy is shocking because the same reviewers do not mind violence against men or bad exploitation of men but are obsessed with women. Stop. Stop to see everything through the prism of political correctness.
