La reine Margot (1994)
Beautiful Love story
This movie is a remarkable love story and I really enjoyed it. Again Vincent Perez does an extraordinary job as playing the love of Margot who is the wife of Henri of Navarre. Both he and his wife have lovers...and we know how that ends.
This movie is at times tragic and has some scenes of massacre but the whole plot of it is amazing. The scenery, the love stories the country in turmoil with the religious war will keep you amazed.
Catherine, Margot's mother does quite a job as an actress. She was amazing. I think for all those who are fascinated with that "era" should see this movie and I know you will enjoy it..
Swept from the Sea (1997)
What a love story!
Not only is the geographical scenes breathtaking but so is the love story. I think Vincent Perez is the hottest new actor out there! Just goes to show that love does conquer all and the heartache these 2 lovers endure from the people of the country. Its a simple love story that takes your heart away....
The little cottage overlooking the mountains and water is amazing! Something every woman should long to have! This indeed was one of the best love stories I have seen and would recommend it to anyone and everyone, I saw watch it with the one you love....and like every good story of love, there always is a sad ending......
Hercules (2005)
Great movie!
I saw it on Monday night on NBC wow what a great movie, with new upcoming actors such as Paul Telfer! He playing Hercules was awesome, great body and winning smile... I thought the special effects were amazing too and enjoyed it. I cant wait until it comes out on DVD hope it has extras in it. The majority of the movie was kept as was the old stories of Hercules... I recommend it to everyone....The actors and actresses were awesome. I think they could have done better than Leelee Sobieski they should have had a better actress to kiss those lips of HErcules... at least its my opinion..I didn't think she was right for the part or maybe just the luckiest woman on Earth to have him so close :).
Shi mian mai fu (2004)
What a Movie
I really enjoyed it. A love story that has some twits and turns, sad ending...I really enjoy her in other movies and her love is one to die for! Excellent movie and graphics and scenery are amazing!I would recommend this movie to all movie lovers...you have romance, action, adventure and a twist ending, what more do you want.
I think this movie is probably one of the best Chinese movies I have seen in a long time! The actors are all great, the story plot is wonderful just goes to show you that love conquers all...I did feel sorry for the man who waited for her for 3 years ...he couldn't live without her and no one else would have her.
Elvis and Me (1988)
Elvis and Me
I too read Priscilla's book since I was infatuated and still am about Elvis Presley. First, just because he was the sexiest man alive doesn't mean he didn't have a dark side. Priscilla was so in love with him as the movie depicted and yet he chose to live like the kings when they slept with many women and had their wife on their side.
Dale Midkiff has got to be the best Elvis impersonator I have seen in a long time, he is so sexy, the eyes, lips, smile the sneer to the T, he has to win the award. I love him! LOL. I think he should have gotten an award for this movie, this was one of the first movies I saw that he played in and I fell in love LOL. Still almost 20 years later he still looks great in his recent movies I saw. I think the movie well in showing both sides, an innocent girl in love with a high-profile man. It showed the hardships of both sides although I think it was a bit harsh on his. All the pills he took towards the end of his life must have made him violent and maybe the rape did take place I guess only they will know. Susan Walters did an excellent job in playing Priscilla many of my friends and family say I resemble her a lot...shoot I wish I was her in making that film...I would have been Mrs. Midkiff! I have always said Priscilla knew what she was getting into and should have stayed by his side no matter what and given him a son for God sakes, he was the King of Rock and Roll! Dale played the Elvis role to the T! I really enjoyed this movie and watched it several times years later.
I would recommend it to anyone. He did a great job...I still think he should have gotten more attention for playing this role so well! Dale great job we love ya!!!!!!!!!!!Keep up the good work!
