Spellbound (1945)

Hitchcock at his best!!

Well i just finished watching "spellbound" and i'm still dazzled by the performance of "Ingrid bergman". She lights up the screen like only the great stars do!! The movie is very suspensfull and keeps you on the edge of your seat for the whole 110 minutes or so. The story is typical Hitchcock with a nice twist at the end but you'll never see it coming and hits you like a a big cement truck!! héhé. Recommended to everybody even if you've never seen a hitchcock movie this is a great movie to start of with. Oh and did i tell you about "Ingrid Bergman" who keeps you in a spell every time she appears on the screen, oops yeah i did. Sorry ;-)))

decent war movie

I liked this movie, it was recommended by a friend and i wasn't dissapointed at all. It starts off slow getting to know the troops and the mission they have to complete, after that all hell breaks loose and keeps you grasping for air during the endless fire fights. Theres torn limbs and blood squirting all over the place so maybe not a movie for the faint of hearted!! It didn't really touch me like "saving private ryan" but in my opinion it's a decent war movie and it ranks up there next to "windtalkers" or "we were soldiers"!!

Just finnished watching this movie, don't know why i rented it maybe cause i wanted to see lucy liu in full action?!?! Don't no, but I didn't regret it!! If your expecting a movie with a good story line, plot twists, perfect acting well i geus this isn't your kind of flick. On the other hand this is a great movie to relax to after a hard days work with a couple of beer cans!! Expect hard action (lucy liu can kick some serious butt!!), explosions, car chases, hot women and more fire power than rambo and commando put together. Don't mind the storyline too much (I didn't) just sit back, relax and enjoy the action sequences!!

Storm Warning (1950)

Great movie

Well i stumbled on this movie zapping the channels of my satelite dish and got caught up by this movie cause i'm a sucker for old b&w movies. Not knowing what to expect i got caught up in the storyline right away, the movie kicks off dark moody suspensefull with Marsha Mitchell (ginger rodgers) a model from new york walking down the backstreets of a small town and witnessing a murder. After the event she runs away and finds here sister Lucy Rice (doris day) who she was visiting.

Both the girls doris day and ginger rodgers give a great acting performance and they got me glued to the tv set for the rest of the movie. just great stuff!!!!

recommended. 8/10
