Why do people keep butchering Stephen Kings books?
30 December 2007
Give it up guys, your never going to make a movie to come up to the standards of Stephen King. IT could never be transfered onto the screen successfully so why bother?? Now all generation X (I don't really know what that means, haha) thinks of when they hear "IT" is this shitty little film and not the amazingly chilling book. The "Salem's Lot" movie was the best attempt I have seen at it and it's no way near as good as sitting down and reading the book. If you like the book then don't sit down and watch this movie because there's no point. It's practically taking the mick. the child actor playing the deceased brother of the writer was depressingly rubbish. Sorry, but honesty is apparently the best policy.

Fell in love with Prince Edward.
30 December 2007
I'm going to agree with the average vote. This all new Disney movie was such a good idea that that I knew something would go wrong. And something did, although I can't quite put my finger on it. Despite this it was a very enjoyable, fun, Happy-go-lucky film to watch when your in a good mood. I liked it because it doesn't take anything seriously, it's just fun. Amy Adams did a fantastic job as lost Disney princess taken from her cartoon, stereotype world and dumped into fast moving new York city by her true love's cruel step mother. James Marsden is hilarious as charming Prince Andrew desperate to win Giselle's heart and rescue her from....anything. Meanwhile Giselle finds herself falling for seemingly selfish relationship lawyer, Robert (Patrick Dempsey) and his young daughter. Fun for the whole family.

What??

Warning: Spoilers
Oh My God! Is it just me or is this one of the most over rated movies ever?! Usually I love the old classics even though I'm only 13 but I thought this was going to be good. It was a load of bullshit, absolutely crap, no suspense, no horror but it was pretty funny though, the little kids expressions, ha ha! Even the Haunting or Black Christmas is better than this! I thought it was going to be proper good but i was very disappointed with it! The two little girls weren't freaky, no even as freaky as the two little kids in Crouch end, ha ha! The blood was retarded and That old rotting lady with the really saggy tits was rough, but was kinda freaky, he he! Oh well...

Like your average chick flick but Funner!!
29 July 2007
Thinking just your standard chick flick? No way. This film one of the best chick flicks you will find out there and, hell, with Reese in the lead role why wouldn't it be. This is one movie that you HAVE to see, it will just cheer you up -period- It makes no difference what mood you are in at the start of the movie I can guarantee that you will be bubbly and optimistic by the end of the movie. Reese Witherspoon is charming and Laugh-out-loud hilarious as Elle Woods (or Woods, Elle), apparently just your average dumb blonde - but appearances can be deceiving. Selma Blair is great as stuck up Harvard bitch, Jennifer Coolidge is Funny and Lovable as the troubled nail manicurist and Luke Wilson is great in his role. Everything Elle does is so damn Lovable (Partly due to Reese) and all you want to do is jump into the movie and back her up in every single scene. Jessica Cauffiel and Alanna Ubach are perfect as Elle's sorority chick friends who don't know anything that isn't about fashion and who doesn't want to look at Ali Larter in a tight black lawyer style suit? Seriously. You HAVE to see this movie if you haven't already, Especisally if you like 'Clueless' and 'Miss Congeniality.

10/10 and Nothing less!

Best movie in a long time!
28 July 2007
This movie is a masterpiece. It deserves, in my point of view, to be higher up in the "top 250" list. I was flying from England to America and it was on the plane, I was 10 and unfortunately, Madagascar beat out this film. About a month ago my dad added this DVD to are vast collection, thinking that none of us would watch it. My dad had seen it before and said it was amazing, he also told me it was true, for some reason. So I sat down and watched it when I had conjunctivitis and stayed off school. I was bawling my eyes out for half the movie, I'm 13 so its not that big a deal, but my dad cried too, which was weird. One of the best films ever made with three of the best actors/actresses. Watch it!

uhh......bullsh*t
27 July 2007
yeah, I thought this movie sucked!

My best friend ranged from pissing her pants to begging me to leave with her, (which was kinda confusing)!

I am usually really generous with my votes (I gave date movie a 3,come on, it didn't even deserve a 0).

Anyway, this movie was annoyingly-unfunny.

My friend (not the one I saw it with) was on holiday in America and watched it before it came out here, and, advised me too see it.

I am 13 and very easily amused but this movie had nothing!

It might not help that i don't like Will Ferrel, but whatever... I just don't get this movie, it's crap!

Everybody loves somebody sometime, just not you right now - whose line is it anyway

Hmmmmmmmm.... well i liked it!!

Warning: Spoilers
Why Is everyone giving this such bad reviews? Is it just me who enjoyed it?

I haven't seen the original so maybe that means something but I actually enjoyed this movie a lot!

It might be because it had a lot of my favorite actresses in it.

I had seen Michelle in Buffy and lots of things, Lacey in mean girls, Mary in sky high and Katie just as David's Daughter.

I thought there acting was good, the script was good, the characters and killers where well written and there was some funny parts.

To me it was like a cross between a chick flick and a slasher flick! Yeah, all the girls were dumb as hell and making lame decisions* but they're sorority girls, that was what they're supposed to do. Right? I was impressed with and enjoyed watching this movie!! 8/10

<3<3<3<3<3<3<3<3_ _ (I'll do hearts instead of stars)

* Although I was confused by the way they said "we won't split up" then .... heather and Ms.Mac left, were killed in the car. Kelli and Leigh went to check on them without telling Mel she then went to find them heard Lauren scream (who was left alone in a bed through whole movie, she was obviously not going to survive!(eyes pulled out)) Mel then had her head chopped off with ice skate (ouch)/was dragged up to attic with eye sockets while screaming (double ouch).

AND the wrong person/people survived, It should have been Leigh AND Melissa!!!!!!

Those where the reasons i didn't give it 10/10

Amazing, Touching Episode
30 May 2007
Wow, watching this episode I'm sure I cried at least 9 times. It was so touching and I felt so sorry for Cat. I burst out crying when Stark and Cat were on the beach and Cat said "I really miss her" :( If you didn't catch this episode then check the Danielle Panabaker scenes at http://youtube.com/watch?v=dFcegWQIgNs Summary: Stark is doing yoga and he sees on the news that a teenage girl was hit by a car side the house where Julie was at a party, after he can't contact her he runs to the crime scene and finds it wasn't her. It was a African-American called Erica Hartford The court accused Cat because they thought that Erica was having an affair with Cats boyfriend. As the case unravels they begin to find the truth. Julie talks to her school newspaper about it and it gets blown up (not literally) and is all over the state. It turns out that instead of her mom on the run with Cat it is her boyfriend and so they question him. He says it was an angry Cat driving the car that hit Erica. Stark watches a video that cat and Erica's friend took where Cat and Erica are Making out. It turns out that Cat was dating "Boyfriend" (can't remember his name) and having an affair with Erica (who she loved) on the side. At the party the boyfriend found out and yelled at Erica. When Erica left the party the boyfriend got into the car and then Cat climbed in, he said i just want to scare her Cat was shaking. Instead of just scaring her he hit her with the car killing her :( It was very unpredictable and very good!!!! who agreed???
