Sri Asih (2022)

This was far better than gundala

Good movie overall, just really disappointed with the short ending and felt so anticlimactic. Many things left unexplained and that's annoying for something that's been greatly built up.

VFX was unexpected tbh. It was far far better than the gundala one. You'll understand once you saw the movie.

Now about the casting. I really really expect better casting than they did on this movie, NGL almost all of them are low tier actors lol. This probably happened because they put more money on the vfx. If we compare the casting to gundala, I'd prefer gundala more.

Here's the only good actors IMO in the movie: Pevita Pearce, reza rahardian, dimas anggara, surya saputra, the one played mateo, the one played the blind old woman, Surya saputra's crook leader.

And the rest was mediocre or even worse.

Better Call Saul: Saul Gone (2022) Season 6, Episode 13

I miss the epicness

I think they want it to be epic when saul confessed all his crimes but i think they missed the build up to Saul's change of heart and it's felt cliche instead.

I know he was inspired by Kim's confessions about hamlin but it's all too sudden IMO.

Idk man, this eps just feels rushed.

Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness (2022)

85% of this movie is action. There's no build up in any fight in this movie that make the fight great. Felt no tense at all and very weak/poor main conflict (seriously wtf). There are few things that's actually good such as mild gore and brutality to show how cruel the antagonist is even tho this was rated Pg 13+.

Last Night in Soho (2021)

Thrilling but failing on directing

This could be more intense and nerve wracking if they didn't put too much "fun" and "happy" vibe. I like the story tbh it's pretty solid and the main idea was pretty good but the execution was just terrible. For example, There's 1 girl that doesn't feel like she's important for the show but she got much amount of screen time for a useless character.

It's not about batman, it's not about superhero, it's about city full of criminal and full of golden hearted citizens. This movie doesn't have the dc comic batman feels, this more like a real crime movie.

Hilariously funny

The funniest "duo" comedy movie i ever saw. The jokes here always have a build up, so when the jokes came in, it becomes so funny. One thing i kinda hate is the amount of unnecessary nudity, like seriously.

Slow paced at the early part of the movie, so you have to be patience before you finally enjoy the movie and trust me it was worth it.

Black Panther (2018)

First time watching it i quickly said to my friends: "damnit man, how tf they gather so many of african people here and makes it exactly like wakanda is actually exist". Turns out i was right, they've won production design AA.

How about the story? Meh, one of the worst mcu phase 3 movie's story

So flat, many goof, and the plot armor was too thick. Sadly it doesn't work in real life, RIP Chadwick boseman.

Black panther in CA: CW fight scene was far more enthralling than the one here in his own movie.

Props to michael b jordan, he really is the killmonger.

And thanks for shuri for making this movie more chilling because of her jokes.

Avengers: Infinity War (2018)

Horrific villain

Best villain on MCU also the introduction of them was top notch showing how horror and terrifying he was. So many epic / nerve wracking scene, love how many characters in this movie and they still got so much screen time with no too fast impression, very well written screenplay.

Would give 8.5 but there's no half here.

Avengers: Endgame (2019)

I like how the writers can easily make someone build a time machine faster than making himself his own suit 🤣 i mean, seriously its a time machine man, anthe build up to it just so bad, needs more build up on how time machines can be build, not just 1 guy appeared tells a phenomenon then voila, time machine is ready in 1 night.

Also, how the conflict happened is probably more stupid than anything in the world. I mean, she can just try to go back to present time AGAIN when she knew that he was there instead of letting herself captured.

And rdj acting in the final scene was actually meh and cringe. There's no emotion in that scene, not at all. Could happened because there's no good build up for him to die.

Thumbs up for chris evan, he nailed every scene he's in.

Also the aftermath is a bit unclear, too many plot holes, too many fantasy with no explanation at all. Overall a stupid movie, but the fight scene paid it all. Especially the original trio vs thanos and damn can't imagine how badass thanos with his double-edged sword.

Drama about how cruel life is for all side. I can't describe how good this movie is with word. This movie show that people always have a good and bad side. Should have won best picture instead of shape of water IMO.

No Country for Old Men (2007)

Imdb should remove the "more like this" section for this movie because there's NO movies like this again. There's no music at all in the movie but the tense is far more higher than any horror movies or any movies that use music for tense build up.

Definitely must watch, use your good headphone to get the best experience of the movie. Make sure you're on movie mood and don't watch it while you're sleepy.

The Batman (2022)

Even the introduction scene was already terrific, probably the most intense movie I've ever watch. Don't expect this to be a superhero kind of movie. There's almost no comedy in this movie.

If u are expecting this movie will be full of tech, full of sci fi don't, just don't.

Again this is not a superhero movie. Batman here is pretty much gimmick of what actually happened in the movie

And yes, this is far more darker than Any of dark knight trilogy. Cos imo none of tdk trilogy was dark, those are outstanding movie but not a thrilling/dark one.

Uncharted (2022)

Entertaining, but not a good movie

Stories so flat, too many plot hole, no character build up, tom holland put too much peter parker here unlike his acting in devil all the time. Mark wahlberg acting was too flat until the late part of the movie. The Bonding between main character and supporting characters was poorly delivered, there's no event between them that could strengthen their bond/relationship until the last 25 minute of the movie. And the relationship between the brother was so weak and unnecessary to be spoken in the movie at all.

Spider-Man: No Way Home (2021)

The best character development ever in a movie. MUST READ

I never rate any marvel movies before because I don't really care about it after watching it (P. S i watch all MCU phase 3 including the series).

But i thought to myself it would be a crime to not rate this movie. My favourite marvel movies before this was CA:CW and i rate it myself no more than 8. I thought the hype on this wouldn't be justified because some of marvel movies was over hyped IMO and yet this one got the hype justified. I rarely gave 9 to any movies i ever watch, but this one definitely deserve it IMO.

I don't really care about the returning character because tom holland's Peter character development in this movie hooked me up and took all my excitement and attentions so it makes the fan service looks like normal thing. In the early part to mid part of the movies you'll get super annoyed with tom and i even think that this man is the worst avenger (indeed he is) but from that fall from the annoying things he did, he got punished really well and it start to build his true hero persona and i really love the ending which he let alone his friends and choose to stay them away from his dangerous life so he can focus on being superhero and THIS WAS MISSING FROM ANY MCU MOVIES where superheroes didn't feel like heroes at all. In this movie i've finally able to feels tom's spiderman(so far he's the only one) as a true hero which was the same feels as i got for tobey's spiderman.

TLDR: So yeah, this deserve my 9. Not because the returning characters but because the beautiful character development.
