The Walking Dead: Daryl Dixon: La Dame de Fer (2023)
Why Does This Only Have A 7.9?
This episode is by far one of the best this show has had aside from the pilot.
From the start of the episode you could tell that this was about to amazing. From the Daryl torture scene to the fight between Quinn and Daryl. And not to mention the walkers really felt like a threat to the characters which is rare for the walking dead these days.
The cinematic was amazing in this episode. That shot of the Eiffel Tower was really cool. This was overall a perfect episode with no problems at all. So far this show is way better than Dead City. Can't wait to see where this show goes.
Felt like classic TWD.
The Walking Dead: The Damned (2017)
This Season Just Keeps Getting Worse...
I recently started watching this show again since its been years since I last seen the early seasons. And it was how I exactly remembered it. Perfect just perfect. Well that was up until 7x02 and that's where things start going downhill.
The writing in season 7 was super slow with most of the episodes being based around one story/Area. So far season 8 has suffered the same fate. The show has loss the horror element.
As of right now the show is more focused on the war element which disrespects the whole point of the show being about humans vs zombies.
Overall A below average episode that does nothing nor entertains me.
The Walking Dead: Days Gone Bye (2010)
A Zombie Apocalypse Masterpiece
The Walking Dead's pilot episode is a true masterpiece that sets the bar impossibly high for all future post-apocalyptic series. From the very first frame, it plunges viewers into a world of chaos, uncertainty, and relentless tension that keeps you on the edge of your seat throughout its runtime.
The opening scene, featuring a bewildered Rick Grimes awakening in a desolate hospital, is a haunting introduction to the bleak new reality of a zombie-infested world. The brilliant storytelling, coupled with outstanding cinematography, immediately immerses the audience in the heart-wrenching emotions of a father trying to reunite with his family amidst the horror of the undead.
The character development in this episode is nothing short of exceptional. Andrew Lincoln's portrayal of Rick Grimes is a masterclass in acting, capturing the essence of a man thrust into an unimaginable nightmare, evolving from a vulnerable, disoriented survivor to a resolute leader. His interactions with Morgan Jones (played brilliantly by Lennie James) tug at the heartstrings, showcasing the depth of human connection amidst the chaos.
The introduction of key characters, such as the enigmatic the morally complex Shane Walsh (Jon Bernthal), adds layers of complexity to the narrative. These characters, each with their unique flaws and virtues, elevate the show beyond a mere zombie thriller, making it a gripping exploration of human nature.
The pilot's iconic moments, like Rick's eerie horseback ride through the abandoned city of Atlanta and the harrowing discovery of the half-eaten survivor in the tank, are etched into the annals of television history. The special effects are top-notch, delivering gruesome and realistic zombie encounters that leave a lasting impression.
What truly makes The Walking Dead's pilot episode a perfect 10/10 is its ability to craft a gripping narrative that transcends the genre. It delves deep into the human psyche, exploring themes of survival, morality, and the lengths one will go to protect their loved ones. The writing, courtesy of Frank Darabont, brilliantly adapts Robert Kirkman's comic series while adding its own unique flavor to the story.
The pilot episode's haunting atmosphere, gripping storytelling, and stellar performances set the stage for an epic series that continues to captivate audiences worldwide. It's a testament to the enduring appeal of The Walking Dead, which has become a cultural phenomenon in its own right. If you haven't experienced this genre-defining episode, you're missing out on one of the most compelling and thought-provoking television experiences ever created. A must-watch for any fan of drama, horror, or post-apocalyptic storytelling.

Knock at the Cabin (2023)
A Slow Waste Of Time
Knock at the Cabin ventures into the realm of suspense with a premise that initially sparks curiosity, earning it a 6 out of 10 stars. The film sets the stage with an isolated cabin in the woods and a mysterious knock that disrupts the tranquility, laying the foundation for an atmosphere of tension. As the plot unfolds, however, the execution struggles to maintain the level of suspense promised by the premise. While the film's pacing attempts to mirror the slow-burning tension characteristic of the genre, it occasionally results in drawn-out sequences that test the audience's patience.
The visual composition of the cabin's surroundings adds a sense of unease to the setting, utilizing dim lighting and carefully chosen camera angles to create an eerie ambiance. The gradual unraveling of the characters' emotions mirrors the mounting unease, contributing to the film's attempts at psychological depth. Nevertheless, Knock at the Cabin stumbles when it comes to fully fleshing out its characters' motivations and relationships, leaving the audience feeling detached from their fates. Despite its potential, the film's ultimately lackluster execution prevents it from delivering the impactful suspense it initially promises, resulting in a viewing experience that falls short of its intriguing premise.
M3GAN (2022)
Chucky Is Still The Goat
M3GAN marches into the realm of psychological thrillers with a mix of promise and uncertainty, warranting a 7 out of 10 stars. The film endeavors to dive into the complexities of artificial intelligence and its potential repercussions, tapping into modern anxieties about technology's ever-growing influence. As the titular AI character, M3GAN, begins to blur the lines between reality and illusion, the film evokes a sense of unease that's both intriguing and disconcerting. However, while the concept holds immense potential, the execution occasionally falters, leaving certain narrative threads underexplored and characters feeling underdeveloped.
The film's visuals and sound design play a significant role in creating an atmosphere of tension and uncertainty. The sleek, minimalist aesthetic of M3GAN's interactions and manifestations adds a futuristic touch that resonates well with the AI theme. The eerie score effectively amplifies the suspense, often leaving the audience on edge. Despite these strong technical aspects, M3GAN's pacing occasionally wavers, struggling to maintain a consistently gripping rhythm. Additionally, while the lead performance is commendable, some supporting characters feel overshadowed, hindering the emotional engagement necessary for a truly immersive experience. In the end, M3GAN showcases glimpses of brilliance, but its inability to fully capitalize on its intriguing premise holds it back from achieving higher acclaim.

The film seamlessly combines nostalgia with fresh elements, paying respectful homage to the franchise's roots while evolving its narrative in unexpected ways. The return of familiar faces, alongside a batch of talented newcomers, injects a renewed energy into the story, captivating both loyal fans and newcomers alike.
The screenplay of Scream 6 is a rollercoaster of suspense and mystery, effectively maintaining the franchise's signature blend of horror and dark humor. The witty dialogue and self-aware characters, a hallmark of the series, offer both genuine laughs and tension-relieving moments amidst the heart-pounding terror. The film's clever utilization of modern technology and social media as central plot points adds a contemporary twist to the classic slasher formula, demonstrating its ability to adapt to the ever-changing horror landscape. The Director masterfully navigates these elements, skillfully building suspenseful sequences that culminate in edge-of-your-seat chase scenes and shocking reveals.
While Scream 6 undoubtedly embraces its horror roots, it also makes a conscious effort to explore deeper themes, such as the consequences of fame and the blurred lines between reality and the digital realm. This introspective layer adds depth to the narrative and engages the audience on multiple levels. The film's visual and sound design further enhance the experience, with creatively staged kills and a haunting score that lingers in your mind long after the credits roll. Ant-Man and the Wasp: Quantumania (2023)
Mediocre Ant-Man Sequel
Ant-Man and the Wasp: Quantumania, unfortunately, continues the downward trend that its predecessors set for the franchise. Despite boasting a talented cast and some visually impressive moments, the film's lackluster plot and poorly developed characters leave much to be desired. The introduction of Kang the Conqueror promised a new level of villainy, but his portrayal feels one-dimensional and fails to create any real sense of threat.
The movie's attempts at humor often fall flat, relying on tired jokes and gags that have become all too familiar from the previous films. The pacing feels uneven, with slow and meandering scenes that do little to advance the narrative. While the film's visual effects are a redeeming factor, they can't compensate for the overall disappointment that is Ant-Man and the Wasp: Quantumania. Fans of the Marvel universe might find some fleeting moments of enjoyment, but ultimately, this installment adds little to the franchise and leaves audiences wanting more substance and depth.

"Avatar: The Way of Water" lives up to its predecessor's legacy while charting new territory both visually and thematically. James Cameron's visionary storytelling and commitment to pushing the boundaries of technology result in a film that is not only a feast for the eyes but also a thought-provoking exploration of our relationship with the environment and each other. It's a must-see for fans of the original film and anyone seeking an immersive cinematic adventure that lingers in the mind long after the credits roll.
Morbius (2022)
WARNING SPOILERS
Now this movie is not the best Marvel movie but also not the worst. Cause before i went to see this movie I was seeing some really bad reviews about this movie and it seems that people are trying to make this movie sound really bad when its not. I mean the space between the action scenes were really well done and there was some funny moments in the movie. The Character development was pretty good and I really like how They slowed it down in the middle of a few of the action scenes. There was also some plot twist like when Milo became a Villian and when Morbius Gilrfriend became a Vampire towards the end of the movie. And the post end credit scene where they talked about Spiderman was so good. So in the end this is a movie you should go see and plays a big part in the Marvel World.
