Some of the Most Real Performances I Have Seen

Wow, I was in complete and utter shock during the majority of this episode. I teared up multiple times because the acting felt so real and the body language was so real. Everyone gave a masterful performance. The chaos of this episode was also one of the most realistic things I have seen regarding the death of a loved one. Roman being in denial was heartbreaking and everyone's response to Logan's death was just incredible. I just have to say that this is one of the best television episode in history and we aren't even in halfway through the season yet. I am very excited to see where things go moving forward.

Don't Look Up

Is what this movie should've been called.

I thought this movie was a fun and entertaining time with great acting, score, and cinematography. It felt like a Spielberg movie, Peele has said he was influenced by Jaws and Close Encounters, this shows if you watch the movie. While this isn't Peele's best movie it is better than Us and isn't as great as Get Out. If you're looking for a movie with deeper meaning and allegories you're going to have to look deeper than you did on Us and Get Out. This movie is fairly straightforward and if you're looking for that you're going to have a fun. Overall, Nope is a fun time and is fueled by great acting (especially from Steven Yuen) and cinematography.

Breaking Bad (2008–2013)

Probably the best show I have ever seen

I know that has been said by pretty much everyone that has seen this show but it's true. Breaking bad is the best because of its acting it's writing it's competent creators and writers and it's cinematography. All of these things add of to make a phenomenal show. I mean the premise alone is interesting and great i just finished it and I loved every second of the show even the fly episode. But in the end it's the best show I have ever seen and if you haven't seen it go watch it now you won't be dissatisfied.

Zack Snyder's Justice League (2021)

They said it wouldn't happen

Well it did. It was pretty good but it wasn't perfect. The cons: the cg wasn't as good because of the small budget. The story was a bit dim in some areas. The acting was pretty good and so was the action. The movie didn't even seem like 4 hours it seemed shorter. I wanted the knightmare sequence to be a bit longer but it was fine the way it was. Overall it is a solid movie and you should check it out.

Coming 2 America (2021)

Massive disappointment

Couldn't even finish it, this was terrible. Not funny and not good. The first is far better. The only funny scene was the barbershop scene and it had maybe one good joke that's why I gave it a 2 and not a 1. Also they are only in America for ten minutes maybe. Don't watch. Just watch the first one.

The Standoff at Sparrow Creek (2018)

Super underrated

This movie is very underrated but is not perfect. The performances are great as well as the cinematography. The story is pretty solid some points are a little weak. Character development is good although you only get to know about 3 or 4 characters really well. If it was a little longer with better character development I would rate it a 8. Also the twist (no spoilers) kind of ruins the opening for me. One I first watched it those gunshots he hears are chilling. But once you watch it again (for me at least) it isn't as good. But this is a solid thriller and people should check it out. It's on Hulu.

Barry (2018–2023)

Incredible

Bill Hader gives probably his best performance ever that I have seen. Also this show is incredible with great acting all around. This show is only 30 minutes long per episode and it perfectly balanced out comedy, drama, and thriller themes. The balance is prefect which makes for a great show. Personally my favorite episode in the show was season 1 episode 7 this episode shows Hader's true acting range and probably his greatest performance. Barry is an exceptional show. Also Noho Hank is hilarious.

The Gentlemen (2019)

This is a great time

I watched this when it first came out and it was amazing Hugh grant gives an amazing performance and is almost unrecognizable. The soundtrack and dialogue are amazing. The story is pretty good and very entertaining.

House (1977)

A Laugh Riot

This movie is insane and unintentionally hilarious the animation is great the acting is alright but funny. The dialogue is also funny in some scenes. If you think this is scary it is really a laugh riot and a good time

Cloverfield (2008)

I love this movie

This movie was an interesting take on the monster genre mainly because it was found footage and had an amazing ad campaign with good performances and humour throughout but not too much it was a great time also the force that was attacking the city was amazingly deisgned but if you haven't seen this go in blind and you'll have an amazing experience. I loved this movie

Godzilla: King of the Monsters (2019)

What a dissapointment

This could've been good, but the lazy writing and the half decent acting couldn't even save it. I saw this on IMAX and it was my first IMAX experience and I was dissapointed, the one thing I did like was the monster fights, they were epic, the spectacle was amazing. I liked the first movie and this was a massive step down. There is also too much exposition, and cringy dialouge, I think with a better script I would've liked the movie, hopefully Godzilla Vs. Kong is good.

Parasite (2019)

Wow: A Masterpiece

This is one of the greatest movies I have ever seen in recent years. The acting and story are phenomenal. I was also shocked to see this got best picture things are changing for the better in the Academy. This is an amazing film anyone should see.

Tenet (2020)

Weak Story Loud Music

So this movie is really hard to follow because the music is so loud and it cuts from one scene to the next. Too much exposition. I watched it a second time and it is ok if you try not to understand it.
