Come on babe why don't we paint the town?

Some people think that this shouldn't have won best picture. Those people are wrong.

Masterful direction, some of the best visual symbolism I have ever seen in a movie. Every single actor gives a 10/10 performance. And of course the music is incredible. I mean it's not original music but still.

Firstly, give Carey Mulligan an Oscar, please and thank you.

Secondly, HOLY SH- Genius writing and directing. Starts off slow but it picks up REAL quick. The cinematography, specifically the composition of the film, was incredibly clever. It's also very colorful and who doesn't like colorful? Highly recommend, and amazing debut for Emerald Fennell.

Phenomenal movie. Aaron Sorkin truly upped his directing game, and his perfect dialogue has not disappeared one bit. Sacha Baron Cohen was incredible, along with Frank Langella and Mark Rylance. The rest of the cast was solid. Even Eddie Redmayne, I don't know why a lot of people are hating on him I thought he was fine. The movie ends on a really really really weird note though. Besides that, can't complain.

BoJack Horseman (2014–2020)
10/10
The most human show of all time isn't even about a human

This show is not for everyone. Now when you here that phrase you normally associate it with style or plot. Like 'oh this is a very slow burn, the average movie goer will get bored' or 'oh it's an action movie, cinema experts won't really like it' but that's not what I mean here. When I say this show is not for everyone, I mean as in some people will not be able to emotionally handle the the painful, powerful, and soul crushing themes. This show gets way heavier than you'd expect a show about talking animals in the city of Hollywoo to get. But I am being completely honest when I say that Bojack Horseman will leave you completely devastated. It dives head first into very traumatic and taboo subjects, like abuse, addiction, suicide, depression, anxiety, and among so many other things, sometimes just plain old death. And it will blur the lines so much between right and wrong, good and evil, so much, you'll be forced to revisit some clips in the show. It's a show that makes you think, and you'll need to rewatch many moments to really contemplate on what is happening. But I'm doing so, you will be rewatching gut wrenching moments of hurt and heartbreak. It doesn't matter that this show has some of the best comedy of the decade. That's not enough to keep you from drowning in tears. So no, this show is not for everyone. If you're like my mom, who didn't want to watch a dogs purpose because she thought it would be too sad, stay far away from Bojack Horseman. But if you can handle it, if you are capable of dealing with some of the most realistic depictions of the most terrifying parts of humanity, then watch this show. Bojack Horseman is a masterpiece, it has a slow start but if you can get through the first season, season 2 will pile drive you through the floor. Watch it. You won't regret it.

In a vacuum it's a 2/10. But since it's so much fun to mock it while watching it, it gets a boost.

This is one of those movies that after watching you have to step back for a second and breathe. Amazing. Great acting, directing, and genius writing. Beautiful set design and a perfect score. And that peach montage I mean, just watch this movie. If I have one complaint the ending could've been a little tighter, but it's a minor issue. Incredible, deserved every award.

Easily one of the best comedy movies of all time, up there with Monty Python and Blazing Saddles. Amazing performances from the entire cast, especially Neilson. I have no idea how he keeps such a straight face. So many jokes, like there is no breathing time it's joke after joke after joke. You'll find something you didn't notice before with every viewing. This is a must watch.
