“Big Brother” debuted on CBS as a summer program on July 5, 2000. Season 25 of “Big Brother” kicks off with a live 90-minute episode on CBS August 2. It will likely begin with the first Head of Household competition, granting someone with a distinct advantage as the houseguests get to know each other. The Hoh will choose two people to go on the block for eviction, both of whom can ultimately save themselves with the Power of Veto. But what is the Power of Veto? And who has won the most in Bb history?
The golden Power of Veto was introduced at the end of “Big Brother” season 3. It allows the owner to remove one of the nominees for eviction from the block. The Pov also guarantees the holder safety should one of the nominees be removed. Unless there is some sort of twist, the Head of Household must choose a replacement nominee for whoever is taken off the block.

“Big Brother” alumni Frankie Grande, Britney Haynes and Danielle Reyes have returned to the series to tease Season 25’s twist in a new video.
The video, released Friday, shows Grande, Haynes and Reyes — who all lost their seasons — “breaking in” to the “Big Brother” house. That’s when they unveil their master plan: a “time laser,” which they can use to go back in time, win everything and prevent any hot dog-related mishaps. Of course, something goes horribly wrong, and instead of changing the past, they accidentally reveal Season 25’s twist. By the looks of things, fans can look forward to a classic comic book-themed season.
Watch the teaser below:
Watch Out These Big Brother legends broke into the #BB25 house and unleashed this season’s twist… what do you think it all means?
Catch the full reveal during the season premiere, Wednesday, August 2nd at 8/7c on @cbs and @paramountplus.

Tamar Braxton became the second winner of “Celebrity Big Brother” on Wednesday, beating Ricky Williams with a 9-0 sweep. And not to oversell it, but her win was a pretty big deal. Here are four ways Tay-Tay made herstory with her victory.
1. She is the franchise’s first black winner
Yup. Not female black winner, but first black winner. This is counting 20 seasons of regular “Big Brother,” one season of “Big Brother: Over the Top” and two seasons of “Celebrity Big Brother.” We were guaranteed the first black winner between Tamar and Ricky, but the odds favored this duck being broken as we got to the business end of the season. Dina Lohan was the only white woman of the final five that also included Kandi Burruss and Lolo Jones, whose father is African-American and mother is Caucasian. Of course, Tamar is not the first person of color to win...

Alright, so all of you who watched the huge Big Brother 19 live Double Eviction show last night know that host Julie Chen made a major announcement at the end. She revealed that this winter CBS is finally doing their own version of Celebrity Big Brother! In light of that, we sought out all the information we could from some other news outlets. It turns out that the folks over at The Hollywood Reporter were able to get a phone interview with Julie Chen and the executive producers of the show Allison Grodner and Rich Meehan. They definitely revealed a little more information that we can expect to see take place with this new Celebrity edition of Big Brother. It looks like we’ll see it actually air in 2018. So, it won’t be happening in December or something like that. We’ll probably see it premiere in January or February.

Do you wish you were in a bubble shut off from the world this week? Well, the final six “Big Brother: Over The Top” contestants have been since September, which meant they had no clue that Donald Trump had won the presidential election.
