Pop sensation Justin Bieber is one of many artists and bands whose Facebook pages are taking advantage of the new Listen button, which gives fans an easy way to listen to music through their favorite playback services -- such as Spotify and Mog -- directly from Facebook pages. After the fan clicks on the button, the music service the person uses most frequently will begin playing the band or artist's most popular songs. As the services are also Timeline apps, the listening activity also posts to the Facebook Timeline as it happens.

[1] Now that her hit Disney series Wizards of Waverly Place has come to an end, Selena Gomez has been trying to make the transition into non-Disney movies with projects ranging from last year's Monte Carlo to the upcoming Harmony Korine-directed Spring Breakers. The latest addition to her slate is The Sky is Everywhere, an adaptation of Jandy Nelson's Ya romance of the same title. Gomez will produce the film through her shingle July Moon, developing it as a star vehicle for herself. The plot follows Lennie, an introverted band geek who's used to being overshadowed by her much more outgoing older sister Bailey. When Bailey suddenly dies, however, Lennie struggles to cope and soon finds herself torn between two guys: her dead sister's boyfriend Toby and a charismatic, musically gifted new boy named Joe. The teen love triangle is nothing new, but the book's received pretty good reviews; if...

The twisted minds that had a hand in bringing you such warped TV sketch shows as Human Giant, Pretend Time and Robot Chicken have conspired to take crass stop-motion comedy to the big screen withHell & Back, a horror-comedy starring Nick Swardson (Bucky Larson: Born to Be a Star) and T.J. Miller (Our Idiot Brother). Here the pair play two twenty-something best buds, Remy and Augie, who are happily stuck in manchild mode, but must man up for a rescue mission once a mutual friend is mistakenly sent to hell. Variety reports Rob Riggle, who made memorable appearances in The Hangover, The Other Guys, and Human Giant, has signed on to play this hell-bound bud, who unlike Remy and Augie is willfully entering the realm of adulthood. Also joining the stop-motion feature are Michael & Michael Have Issues's Kumail Nanjiani and The Sarah Silverman Program's Brian Posehn. The stand-up comic who...

Some web series pop out as fast as the creative diarrhea works its ways from inception inside the brain of anyone with a camera to the bowels of YouTube. Others, take time. Sometimes years. Crackle’s new half-animated, half-live-action comedy web series Issues falls in the latter of those two camps. The setup of Issues, which percolated during co-creator Matt Oates’ college psych class, is rather simple—Dr. Ted (Josh Cooke) is a disgruntled psychologist sorting out “the bizarre neuroses and psychoses” of animated superheroes. Or, as our own Josh Cohen put it, “Issues is what happens when you take those Jerry Seinfeld and Superman Amex commercials off the streets of New York City and into a pschyologists’s office.” Voicing these original superheroes—like the flashing-exhibitionist Captain Magnificent Seth Green (Austin Powers), Eric Stonestreet (Modern Family), Ron Livingston (Office Space), Rob Riggle (The Daily Show), Greg Grunberg (Heroes), and...

Before Seth Green Green Executive Produced stop-motion animation shorts featuring action figures in unlikely situations reciting uncharacteristic lines of dialogue for television’s Comedy Central, he Executive Produced more or less the same program for the web. Sweet J Presents was the original Robot Chicken. Green and Matthew Senreich created, wrote, and produced the show for Sony’s ScreenBlast.com way back in 2001 during the internet’s first online video craze. It lasted one full 12-episode season before it’s funding disappeared when the Dot-com bubble popped. 10 years, a wildly successful television series based on his original web show, and an original reality web series later, Green is once again starring in a Sony web program featuring alt superhero-focused and action figure-oriented animated comedy. Issues is what happens when you take those Jerry Seinfeld and Superman Amex commercials off the streets of New York City and into a pschyologists’s office.
