Netflix's new comedy Teenage Bounty Hunters centers on a pair of twins, Sterling and Blair, who team up with an established bounty hunter to track down bad guys and collect the rewards. So are the actresses actually twins in real life, or is this just a case of really good casting?
Although they certainly look like they could be twins in real life, actresses Maddie Phillips and Anjelica Bette Fellini, both 25, aren't even related at all. Fellini is still very much a newcomer to the business. Her most recognizable role has been on the superhero drama The Gifted, where she played Rebecca, aka "Twist." Her only other credits are the movies Sid Is Dead and The French Dispatch.
Phillips, on the other hand, has acting roles going back to 2013. For the most part, she's had one-time guest roles on established shows, including spots on Lucifer, iZombie, and Supernatural. She's...

At Brandcast, YouTube Renews Originals From James Charles, MrBeast, Markiplier, And Marques Brownlee
At its ninth annual digital NewFronts presentation -- and its first-ever virtual outing, dubbed Brandcast Delivered -- YouTube announced the latest additions to its original programming slate, which includes renewals of popular series headlined by native superstars James Charles, Jimmy 'MrBeast' Donaldson, Mark 'Markiplier' Fischbach, and Marques Brownlee.
YouTube also announced that it’s teaming anew with singer Demi Lovato for a four-part, yet-to-be-titled docuseries chronicling her personal and musical journey. Lovato previously pacted with YouTube on the 2017 doc Simply Complicated, which touched on her battle with addiction, and which has been viewed upwards of 32 million times. The upcoming doc will be directed by Michael Ratner and produced by Obb Pictures, though a release date is still forthcoming.
On the native creator front, YouTube has re-upped for: another season of Charles’ beauty vlogger competition series Instant Influencer (which nabbed 53 million views in its first month); another installment of Donaldson’s...

Taking place from June 2-9, 2011 at the Laemmle Sunset 5 in Hollywood, “Dances with Films” bills itself as “The Last Independent Independent Film Festival.”
The festival opens with the world premiere of James Hacking’s “Love’s Kitchen,” starring Dougray Scott, Claire Forlani, Simon Callow and Gordon Ramsay, in which the British chef with the potty mouth plays himself. Closing the festival is Michael Madison’s “Delivered,” which, by its own promotion, is inspired by “True Romance” and “Vanishing Point.”
Among the two-dozen features in the line-up, the films that have been best brought to our attention are “10 Years Later,” a film by first-time filmmaker Aaron Metchik in which Dustin Hoffman’s son Jake gets to show off his chops alongside Rachel Boston; “Letting Go,” in which the “Brady Bunch’s” Christopher Knight stars; and Rachel Boston’s second film in the festival, “The Pill,” in which the actress co-stars with Noah Bean and Anna Chlumsky.

At six feet tall, sporting curly locks, a blue Hawaiian shirt, and a warm, goofy smile, actor Tadamori Yagi seems more like a mellowed out surfer than a drug-addled psychopath. But, after viewing an audition tape submitted online via Facebook, filmmakers Michael Madison and Linda Nelson were convinced otherwise. And so they cast the young actor in their indie action thriller “Delivered” as the main bad guy’s son, Junior… who also happens to be a drug addled psychopath. Regarding his decision to cast Tadamori, writer-director-star Madison says:“Working with Tad...

Beautiful, blond, and dangerous: The femme fatale (hair color negotiable, sexy edginess not) is an iconic part in films graced by action, peril, and intrigue. You would be hard-pressed to find an actor uninterested in such a role, yet finding a woman capable of filling it is more of a challenge. With the help of Back Stage, however, the creators of the indie action thriller "Delivered" were able to locate their femme fatale in L.A.-based actor Jeanette Steiner.Steiner was born in Texas and found her love of acting in middle-school plays while growing up in Pennsylvania. She studied acting in Buffalo, N.Y., but after earning her theater degree she realized "I just had this itch I had to scratch," she says, and moved to Los Angeles to pursue her passion in front of the camera. Steiner, who loves L.A. for many reasons, not least the weather,...
