Pat McAfee used some choice language to describe Indiana Fever rookie Caitlin Clark in Monday’s installment of The Pat McAfee Show, referring to her as “one white bitch for the Indiana team who is a superstar.”
Coming off of a weekend that saw Chicago Sky veteran Chennedy Carter hip-check Clark to the ground, McAfee began his show by discussing in-game rivalries before segueing to the “evolution of success and popularity in the WNBA” thanks to a rookie class bolstered by Angel Reese, Cameron Brink, Kamilla Cardoso and, of course, Clark.

NFL Legend Dan Marino has made a fortune from the sport but he missed a truly great opportunity to add a few bucks to his net worth. In the 1994 hit comedy film, Ace Ventura: Pet Detective, Marino played a small role as himself alongside Jim Carrey. The film went on to become a major box-office success and Marino’s involvement may have influenced this success. However, Marino took only a flat fee for the role instead of the more lucrative option of a percentage of the gross of the film.

The former Miami Dolphins quarterback even went on to jokingly claim that he built Jim Carrey’s career with the film and took full credit for it. Marino has one of the highest net worth among the NFL Hall of Famers, despite the Dolphins not taking home a single Super Bowl.

Dana White has come under fire for several controversies over the years. The most recent backlash was for defending UFC fighter Sean Strickland’s “freedom of speech” in anti-lgbtq+ comments.
While appearing on The Pat McAfee Show, the titular host asked White about the controversy as he has also recently faced backlash over comments made by NFL star Aaron Rodgers.

Netflix is reportedly spending $5 billion for 10 years of WWE programming; the streaming giant might want to avoid fighting the NFL for viewers.

By 2018, Will Compton, a 28-year-old backup linebacker on a one-year contract with the Tennessee Titans, knew his playing days were numbered. Contemplating a career after football, he considered going into real estate or coaching but couldn’t muster much enthusiasm for either. Driving home after a game one evening, he called Taylor Lewan, an offensive tackle for the Titans and his closest friend on the team, with whom he’d just done a postgame segment on Titans Radio. The two, who had bonded over their fondness for podcasts like The Joe Rogan Experience, had undeniable chemistry on the air, and the experience got them thinking about starting their own podcast. For Lewan, who had just signed a six-year deal with the Titans, it sounded like a fun time. For Compton, it was a go-for-broke career plan. The following year, they launched Bussin’ With the Boys.

Pat McAfee has generated reams of unwanted publicity for the Disney-backed sports-media giant in recent days, allowing frequent guest Aaron Rodgers to spread misinformation about vaccinations; insulting Norby Williamson, an influential ESPN executive who manages many studio shows and tries to keep a tight rein on them, and accusing him of working to sabotage his show in talks to media outlets; and giving Rodgers room to call out Jimmy Kimmel, the ABC late-night host who is one of the most high-profile employees in the Disney empire.
Interestingly, few of the controversies that have surfaced on McAfee’s show have anything to do with ESPN’s raison d’etre: games and sports. Such a program is “unsustainable,” says Joel Lulla, a former attorney for ABC Sports...

Aaron Rodgers has ended his appearances on The Pat McAfee Show for the season, the show’s host announced on Wednesday’s episode.
“Aaron Rodgers Tuesday Season 4 is done,” McAfee said. “There’s going to be a lot of people that are happy with that — myself included, to be honest.”
He continued, “The way it ended, it got real loud and I’m happy that that is not going to be my [social media] mentions going forward.”
McAfee was referring to the media storm Rodgers’ appearance created after the New York Jets quarterback insinuated Jimmy Kimmel was on the Jeffrey Epstein list of associates.
Rodgers’ claims had Kimmel threatening legal action, which prompted a back-and-forth interaction and gave the show added attention that McAfee didn’t want. The Super Bowl champ made his last appearance on McAfee’s show on Tuesday to explain his claims about Kimmel and the history of their feud.

As promised, Aaron Rodgers was a guest on The Pat McAfee Show on Tuesday, where he addressed Jimmy Kimmel’s on-air comments from the day prior about their recent tension and called out an ESPN executive’s remarks regarding the situation.
After Kimmel spent the first seven minutes of ABC’s Jimmy Kimmel Live! on Monday criticizing Rodgers’ remarks from last week about Jeffrey Epstein and questioning the NFL star’s intelligence, the New York Jets quarterback said that the conflict between the pair is connected to differing beliefs about Covid-19. In 2022, Rodgers admitted to misleading the media about his Covid-19 vaccination status after he announced the year prior that he was “immunized” before news later broke that he was not, in fact, vaccinated.
“The history of this — whatever this is between Jimmy and I — this goes back to Covid times,” Rodgers said Tuesday on the program that airs on ESPN.

Aaron Rodgers is breaking his silence after what he said last week about Jimmy Kimmel.
Aaron went on The Pat McAfee Show last week and mentioned Jimmy’s name in association with the Jeffrey Epstein documents.
Specifically, Aaron said, “There’s a lot of people, including Jimmy Kimmel, really hoping that doesn’t come out. I’ll tell you what, if that lists comes out, I definitely will be popping some sort of bottle.”
Jimmy slammed Aaron for mentioning him in association with any Epstein documents, and later, slammed Aaron again and reiterated that he’s never had any association with the disgraced financier. Jimmy‘s name was not featured in the documents that were unsealed.
Now, Aaron is speaking out for the first time since all of this went down.

Jimmy Kimmel returned to late-night after his winter hiatus and addressed his feud with Aaron Rodgers.
The New York Jets quarterback had insinuated Kimmel’s name would appear as an associate of sex offender Jeffrey Epstein. On his first show for 2024, the ABC late-night show host said it was “already a crazy year” following the allegations.

The comedian reminded audiences that his response to Rodgers’ claims was that if he “wanted to make false and very damaging statements like that, we should do it in court so he could share his proof with a judge.

Kimmel took to Twitter to voice his anger at the joke.

Pat McAfee Comments on Aaron Rodgers & Jimmy Kimmel Controversy, Apologizes for 'Being a Part of It'
Pat McAfee, host of The Pat McAfee Show on ESPN, is speaking out about what Aaron Rodgers said on his show about Jimmy Kimmel this week.
Aaron went on The Pat McAfee Show this week and claimed that Jimmy‘s name would be uncovered as one of the people mentioned in the Jeffrey Epstein documents.

Jimmy denied this claim and slammed Aaron for his “reckless” comments, threatening to sue.

ESPN sports analyst Pat McAfee apologized Wednesday for quarterback Aaron Rodgers’ prior comments on his show suggesting that comedian Jimmy Kimmel had ties to Jeffrey Epstein.
On Tuesday’s episode of “The Pat McAfee Show,” Rodgers discussed the list of Epstein’s associates that is set to be publicly unsealed by a federal judge later this month. He said that, “There’s a lot of people, including Jimmy Kimmel, really hoping that doesn’t come out” and that, “If that lists comes out, I definitely will be popping some sort of bottle.”

McAfee addressed the controversy at the top of his show on ESPN, noting that the ABC late-night talk show host had threatened legal action.
The sports commentator said that he and his staff had been “free wheeling” after coverage of the Rose Bowl, taking note that his show doesn’t have a format and “there is an opportunity to talk about damn near everything for three and a half hours.”
“There could be some things that were certainly, probably — I mean we’re gonna have to hear from Aaron on that — meant to be shit talk joke that can then become something that is obviously a very serious allegation that then leads to a massive overnight story,” McAfee said.
