Meanwhile the police director and accountants worry about the expensive favors they insisted bestowing on König o account of his uncle, who now clarifies he wanted equal treatment, which Sebastian sneakily achieved.

Forensics on Graf's damaged car link him to a hit and run, which throws new light on things.

Lukas Beutner may have blackmailed the Münzingers having found out the inheritance was dodgy. Christiane Haeberlein, Beutners free-lance PA, was his lover but recently resigned. Fresh widow Klara probably found out. Traces of dog hair, to which Beutner was allergic, but no canine steer Max to the asylum, leading to a crucial piece of evidence.
