Sex & Nudity

- There is a lengthy sex scene between John and Selima in which they kiss and embrace, he pulls down her dress and begins to kiss and caress her breasts (which are fully seen). Things move to the bedroom and we see her sitting on him and thrusting and they can be seen naked while she is sweating and moaning. And then John starts to preform oral sex on Selima (we see her breasts again here) and then she straddles him and the scene ends.
- Cecil walks up to John and pulls her dress down revealing her bare breasts for about 2 seconds.
- John and Cecil are shown pre-coital. Nothing explicit.
- A woman is called some sexual slangs as she has a baby that is not her husband's.
- There is an implied sexual assault.
- There are a lot of sexual references throughout the movie. Selima is a "Sleeping Dictionary" which is a woman who stays with the English to teach them the native language and to perform in bed.

- We see people carrying decapitated and partially decayed heads.
- Selima shoots Neville in the arm. We see a spray of blood and the wound pours.
- Neville threatens John, Selima and the baby with a gun.
- Neville is shot in the neck twice with an arrow. Blood pours out of his mouth.
- It is implied through shown bruises that Neville has beaten and sexually assaulted his Sleeping Dictionary.
