Trivia Much of the filming of this movie took place in Monte Carlo, not far from David Niven's home, a villa called "La Fleur du Cap Mansion", located in the Saint Jean-Cap-Ferrat region where many rich people lived. This French Riviera house is where Niven resided during the final years of his life. This movie was shot close to Niven's house due to his failing health. See more »

Quotes Bridget: I'd like men to fight over *me*! I'd make them very jealous and then they'd kill each other for love.
Miss Anderson: I'm sure. But before you reach that happy state would you just finish your greens.
Bridget: How can you be so awful, Anderson? I'm talking about love and all you can think about is ugly things like greens.
Miss Anderson: Well, that's life, Bridget; it's seldom a bowl of cherries. Most of the time it's strained spinach.
