Jeopardy! fans were unhappy about a specific question on the show this week. It also provided some questions about how fair some of the right and wrong answers are on the show. This wrong answer comes just a month after fans bemoaned a “right” answer. There is some concern now over when an answer is right or wrong based on pronunciation.
Here is the question this week that was deemed wrong that has Jeopardy! fans frustrated.
Jeopardy! Deems Answer Wrong Based On Mispronounciation
Mike Flanagan was on Jeopardy! on Thursday and he got a question about Kung Fu Panda. The clue was “In the Kfpu (‘Kung Foo Panda’ Universe), Dustin Hoffman voices this role, Mandarin for ‘Master.'” The answer was Shifu, who is the Master who helps Po’s panda become the Dragon Warrior.

Matt Damon has scored some of the best action roles throughout his career, with one of the most prominent ones being that of the iconic spy Jason Bourne in his blockbuster film series. But as much as he earned a critical commendation for that one role, there was a time when even the first film from the saga almost didn’t get made.

The reason behind this was the creative differences between the mastermind Doug Liman, who helmed the masterpiece The Bourne Identity, and the production studio Universal Pictures. In fact, had it not been for Damon acting as a mediator between the two, this unarguably most difficult movie of all the films from the series just may have never been brought into existence!

The Matrix franchise has to be one of the greatest sci-fi movie series ever made that has pushed the genre to a new height. But it was never easy to make it. There were a lot of changes in the cast of several characters, including Neo and Trinity. But interestingly, the Wachowskis presented the script in a very different way.
Keanu Reeves as Neo in The Matrix films
Directed by the Wachowski siblings; Lilly Wachowski and Lana Wachowski, The Matrix franchise started on a weird note, at least not what Warner Brothers expected. The duo reportedly presented the script in a format that was beyond the wildest imagination of the studio. No wonder they picked it up after several rejections from so many different studios.

Nekki has released the latest trailer for its upcoming beat ’em up action title Spine at the Future Games Show, and it is full of elements that seem straight out of The Matrix and Jason Bourne movies, as well as the popular beat ’em up game Sifu.
The game features all you can expect in a Matrix game, such as the over-the-top gunplay and the smooth and exciting combat in Sifu. The latest Matrix movie was a flop, and fans were left disappointed, but for those waiting for something more Matrix-like, Spine could be the one.

Putting it mildly, "Avatar: The Last Airbender" pulls a lot from Southeast Asian mythology and history. The show can't completely escape Orientalism but at least the writers did their research.
A savior named the Avatar with a reincarnation cycle? That's adapted (and heavily simplified) from Hindu myths about gods incarnating on Earth. The Fire Nation resembles 20th-century Imperial Japan: an island-chain nation undergoing its industrial revolution and colonizing its neighbors. Then there are the details of the setting, like architecture, outfits, and the in-universe writing system, which are all inspired by real-world Asian cultures. Even the show's animation is purposefully meant to resemble anime that co-creators Bryan Konietzko and Michael Dante Dimartino loved, like Hayao Miyazaki movies and "Cowboy Bebop."
"Avatar: The Last Airbender" is a fantasy show and the magic system also pulls from Eastern concepts. In the show, spiritually-attuned people can control, or bend, one of the four classical elements: Water,...

Survivor Season 45 is nearly over, as the three-hour finale airs on Wednesday, Dec. 20, 2023. The five finalists — Dee Valladares, Austin Li Coon, Julie Alley, Jake O’Kane, and Katurah Topps — are all still competing for $1 million. Recently, the final five spoke to Entertainment Weekly about their experience playing the beloved game. And they agreed that one night in Fiji was the worst.
‘Survivor’ Season 45 finalists agree that day 10 marked the worst night of the season
Survivor is a complicated game, and season 45 brought harsh living conditions and intense strategy. The new era of Survivor has contestants in Fiji for 26 days. Producers made the game conditions more difficult because of the shorter gameplay. While speaking to Entertainment Weekly, the final five competitors clarified that day 10 marked their breaking point.
Austin Li Coon found day 10 difficult due to the rain. He also hadn’t eaten much up to that point. “Day 10 was by far the most difficult day physically,...

Hey, "Survivor" fans. Tonight, November 15,2023, another new episode of Survivor's current season 45 hit the air, and another unlucky contestant did get voted off via a very severe blindside. I mean this one really came out of left field. Tonight's new episode kicked off with some conversation footage after the last tribal council meetings, which sent Sifu and Kaleb packing. Drew told the private cams that he really wants to get Bruce out of this game. Jake told the private cams, "I wanted Kaleb here. I trusted him. I didn't wanna dogpile on Kaleb. That's not a move. That's following the herd." Jake mentioned that he knew he was in trouble for going against the plan to get rid of Kaleb. He was particularly in hot water with Julie who he tried to vote out.

Last week on “Survivor 45,” the merged tribe was shocked to learn they’d be divided into two groups of six. Both groups attended tribal council, where they ultimately voted out Sifu Alsup (who didn’t make the jury) and Kaleb Gebrewold (who became the first juror). This week, the Final 10 castaways come together to learn they’ll be competing in the Survivor Auction for the first time in years. Oh, and someone else will be voted out of the game.

It was clear last week on “Survivor 45” that Kaleb Gebrewold had his work cut out for him – after being the first player to successfully play his Shot in the Dark and negating the entire merged tribe’s 11 votes against him – if he was going to survive another tribal council in the game. Alas, he could not get it done, though his final nail in the coffin turned out to be an unexpected factor in one player that he was close to, ultimately deciding the direction of the game. In addition, there was another split tribal council with a twist in the jury phase with another castaway being sent home. Let’s break down all the social dynamics in the Top 10 as the merge officially begins.

With 10 players remaining in the quest to become “Survivor 45” champ, the competition finally turns to a truly individual game when Episode 8, “Following a Dead Horse to Water,” airs on Wednesday, November 15. In the last two weeks, the merged tribes of Belo, Reba and Lulu had group immunity or were split when it came to the vote, so this will be the first time that every player is vulnerable to elimination. Original Reba, consisting of Austin Li Coon, Dee Valladares, Drew Basile and Julie Alley, have a numbers advantage so long as original Lulu member Emily Flippen and Belo turncoat Katurah Topps continue to work with them. That would leave the remaining Belo players, Bruce Perreault, Jake O’Kane, Kellie Nalbandian and Kendra McQuarrie, as the odd ones out.
Whether tribal lines stick and for how long, there are bound to be peaks and valleys in each player’s struggle to gain power in the game.

On Wednesday’s seventh episode of “Survivor 45,” Jeff Probst threw another twist at the 12 castaways. He randomly divided them into two groups of six and then had them compete for two individual immunity necklaces that would protect them from the two Tribal Councils that would see two players going home. Unfortunately for Sifu Alsup, his group were the overall losers at the challenge and went to Tc first. When he became the choice for elimination, he also missed out on advancing to the juror stage of the post-game. Read on for Sifu’s “Survivor 45” exit interview from the end of the episode.
“So I felt the whole day, something looming – it was my impending doom,” began Sifu after his elimination. He had expressed earlier at Tc that he saw himself as a big threat in the game and because of the breakdown of his group it was fairly clear to...

‘Survivor 45’ episode 7 recap: Which 2 people were voted out in ‘The Thorn in My Thumb’? [Live Blog]
Heading into the seventh episode of “Survivor 45,” the three tribes had finally come together in a merge following the ouster of J. Maya Krishnan-Jha. (after Kaleb Gebrewold negated a record 11 votes with his Shot in the Dark). That left just 12 people still in the game. But that number was about to be cut down to 10 after the castaways learned that this week would be a double elimination.

“Survivor 45” made history once again last week as Kaleb Gebrewold successfully played his Shot in the Dark to a unanimous vote against him, breaking the record with 11 votes cast for him, two more than when Kelley Wentworth back in “Survivor: Second Chance” played an immunity idol negating nine votes against her. Let’s break down what events transpired that led up to this groundbreaking moment as the tribes converged to one beach.
After the ouster of Brando Meyer in the last episode, Kendra McQuarrie was on the warpath and wanted revenge on Emily Flippen for lying to her, and siding with the Reba duo of Austin Li Coon and Drew Basile. The next day, right before the boats arrived to pick the tribes up to unite with everyone, Bruce Perreault was able to find the new Lulu idol underneath the shelter and shared it with the whole tribe, minus Katurah Topps.

Thank the Survivor Gods above: Season 45’s big merge episode is (still) hourglass-free. That, my friends, I am happy to report. But just because the franchise’s most nonsensical twist remained dormant doesn’t mean that Tribal Council was immune from a healthy dose of chaos.

If you were confused by the vote at the end of the fourth episode of “Survivor 45,” you’re not alone. But even after Sean announced his decision to quit and return home to his husband, the votes didn’t go according to plan. Sean received three of the five votes, while Dee Valladares received one and Nicholas “Sifu” Alsup received one. Huh?
As a voted-out Sean was standing up to give his goodbye hugs, Sifu appeared visibly confused. “Who voted for Sifu?” he wondered aloud. “Did you vote for me?” he asked Sean, who responded with a quick, “No.” When Sean brought his torch up to Jeff Probst to be snuffed, Sifu was seen whispering, “Wow.

A tribe swap giveth, while another quit taketh away.
Anything can and will change on a dime on the islands of Fiji, and Wednesday’s episode of Survivor delivered exactly what this season needed. No, not the quitting of yet another castaway (Grr. Argh.), but a chancy li’l game of tribe roulette!

Heading into the third episode of “Survivor 45,” the Lulu tribe was down two castaways (Hannah Rose and Brandon Donlon) after they lost another immunity challenge. The Belo and Reba tribes were still sitting strong at six members apiece, but all of that can change depending on who wins tonight’s third immunity challenge. So how did everything play out on Wednesday night?

Good intentions and an honorable heart don’t always get you very far in the game of Survivor.
But before we dig deep into Episode 2’s happenings — the opening credits are back! If you’re a huge Survivor nerd like me, you’re probably pretty stoked. The music! The emotion! The badass slo-mo action shots! I could go on and on about how integral and nostalgic the theme song is, but I’ll just say I’m really glad “Ancient Voices” is back. Hope it’s here to stay.

Truth time: ‘Survivor 45’ began in messy fashion, with clashing personalities and an unexpected quit
“Survivor” is back again with its 45th season and 18 new contestants. For the first time in the history of the reality TV show, there will be 90-minute episodes throughout the entire season. That gives viewers more character game moments and tribe dynamics, which last week’s premiere delivered in messy fashion, with many clashing personalities and an unexpected quit at the end. As the three tribes form and the alliances begin on “Survivor 45,” read on as we break down the game and the hour and a half premiere.
Starting with the Belo tribe, there is the return of Bruce Perreault from last season after being medically evacuated 12 hours into the game. Despite proclaiming to his tribe that he did not want to be known as the leader out here, it was followed by him guiding the tribe and suggesting what to do, as noted by the ladies Katurah Topps, Kellie Nalbandian and Kendra McQuarrie,...

The premiere episode of “Survivor 45” aired on Wednesday night, concluding with host Jeff Probst snuffing out the torch of Hannah Rose. The 33-year old therapist from Baltimore, Maryland was the first castaway sent home after being “voted out” by the Lulu tribe. Well, she begged to go home. Did they make the right decision? And what were the dumbest, most shocking and most exciting moments of this inaugural episode of the season?

Wednesday night on CBS, Jeff Probst officially lit the torch on the 45th season of “Survivor.” Just like all of the “new era” cycles, this year’s crop of 18 contestants have been divided into three tribes and come from diverse backgrounds and walks of life. Due in part to the writers’ and actors’ strikes, all episodes will be 90 minutes long this season, a first for the franchise. In the season premiere, viewers met the new castaways and found out who had the unfortunate title of being the first person voted out of Fiji.

Spoiler Alert: This recap contains spoilers from the Season 45 premiere of “Survivor.”
Every episode of “Survivor” contains a healthy handful of platitudes about how wild the game is, and the Season 45 premiere is no different. But when Jeff Probst says that he doesn’t know if he’s ever seen so much energy from a new cast, a shot of a contestant open-mouth sobbing before the first challenge has even begun makes it hard to disagree.
Among the first personalities to stand out are Jake, the lawyer-bartender-theater teacher dreaming of moving out of his grandmother’s house; Brandon, the tearful superfan who loves the game of “Survivor” more than anything; and Emily, who feels the opposite: “If I’m not gonna win the game, I would rather be the first person voted off. It’s a complete waste of time if you’re not the sole survivor. Excuse me for being honest.

It’s hard to imagine that 23 years later, players are still enduring a months-long casting process and flying all the way around the world just to quit the game three days later, but here we are! Welcome to the premiere of Survivor 45 which, I am sad to report, had one of the most disappointing first Tribal Councils the game has ever seen.
But before we jump too far ahead, let’s break things down from the top, including the return of Season 44’s Bruce Perreault, who was medically evacuated just hours after stepping off the boat last season. As the...

With his presence in John Wick: Chapter 4, Donnie Yen is finally getting the English-language, international showcase he’s always deserved. Yen is a huge star in his motherland of China and is about to become a very bright draw for international audiences, finding himself new fans every time he’s seen in an American film. With this new one, he should no longer be “oh I know that guy from somewhere” and be quite well known as the badass that he is. To you get to know his work, here are ten of the best Donnie Yen movies (in no particular order):
Dragon (aka Wu Xia) (2011)
A big part of Yen’s career has been filled with period pieces in which martial arts have an important place (the Wuxia genre). Dragon is no different. Here, Yen plays a family man who is hiding a dark past, when this past catches up with him,...

Exclusive: Following a competitive pursuit, Story Kitchen, has partnered with Sloclap to adapt their hot new hit videogame, Sifu, into a Live-Action feature film with Story Kitchen partner Derek Kolstad adapting the script.
Story Kitchen’s Dmitri M. Johnson will produce alongside Mike Goldberg, Kolstad, Dan Jevons and Timothy I. Stevenson. Jeff Ludwig will also be producing alongside Story Kitchen, formerly a VP for Ritchie/Wigram Productions, before launching his own shingle, The Menagerie.
Based on the videogame developed & published by Sloclap,, the game tells a story of revenge set in modern-day China. It follows the student of a martial arts school’s master (Sifu) as he seeks to avenge the murder of his mentor. The twist, however, is that thanks to a magical talisman, each time our hero dies, he’s resurrected, but the price paid is that he ages with every use. And should he become too old too fast,...
