Law & Order Toronto: Criminal Intent has cast an all-Canadian ensemble.
The series, which is based on the Dick Wolf-created series, has cast Aden Young (Rectify), as Detective Sergeant Henry Graff, Kathleen Munroe (City on Fire) as Detective Sergeant Frankie Bateman, Karen Robinson (Schitt’s Creek) as Inspector Vivienne Holness, K.C. Collins (The Cleaning Lady) as Deputy Crown Attorney Theo Forrester, Nicola Correia-Damude (Shadowhunters) as Forensic Pathologist Dr. Lucy Da Silva, and Araya Mengesha (Nobody) as tech expert Mark Yohannes.
The series, which is produced by Lark Productions and Cameron Pictures for Citytv, follows two elite detectives from the Specialized Criminal Investigations unit as they investigate high-profile crimes and homicides in metro Toronto.
The 10-part series, which is filming in Toronto, is set to air in spring 2024.

Netflix has picked up six episodes of the action-adventure drama series "Frontier" and has set "Game of Thrones" and future Aquaman actor Jason Momoa to star.
Told from multiple perspectives and in the late 18th century, the story deals with how business negotiations and relations between Native tribes and Europeans are frequently resolved with hatchet fights.
Momoa plays Declan Harp, an ambitious, confident, charismatic and untamed man with a reputation for being a ruthless trader, driven by lust and revenge.
Brad Peyton ("San Andreas") directs and will executive produce with Jeff Fierson, Alex Patrick and John Vatcher. Landon Liboiron ("Hemlock Grove"), Alun Armstrong, Allan Hawco and Zoe Boyle also star in the series which will premiere next year.
Filming begins this month in Newfoundland, Nova Scotia, Ontario and Cornwall.

Netflix’s newest series will find one Game of Thrones star living life in the American wilderness. The streaming video service ordered a six-part adventure drama series called Frontier, starring actor Jason Momoa.
Led by San Andreas director Brad Peyton, the six-part Frontier will investigate the North American fur trade business of the late 18th century, which often consisted of situations like hatchet fights and dangerous encounters between European settlers and local Native American tribes. Momoa will star in the period drama series, which is produced by Take the Shot Productions alongside Peyton and Jeff Fierson’s Factory Backwards banner. Peyton will executive produce alongside Fierson, John Vatcher, and Take the Shot’s Rob and Peter Blackie (who co-created the show) and president Alex Patrick.

Discovery Canada announced today that Jason Momoa (Game Of Thrones, Batman Vs. Superman: Dawn of Justice) will lead the international cast for its ambitious new original Canadian scripted series, Frontier. Commissioned by Discovery Canada earlier this year and shooting in beautifully vivid 4K Uhd, production is now underway in Canada and the U.K. on the thrilling and richly layered premium drama, the first original scriped series in Discovery Canada history.
