The McU has come a long way since its release of Iron Man in 2008. On the big and small screen we have seen the likes of The Avengers, Ant-Man, The Guardians of the Galaxy and other Marvel characters we grew up only seeing in comics and cartoons. One of the biggest hurdles that Marvel has had to overcome is the fact that they don't own the rights to all their characters including one of their most popular characters, Spider-Man. Thanks to a partnership between Sony and Marvel Studios, Spider-Man was featured in Captain America: Civil War and now Iron Man will be featured in Spider-Man: Homecoming.
