Looking for another fix of “Survivor” after season 43 wrapped up on December 14, 2022? We are too and wondered is “Survivor” on Netflix? We did some digging and it turns out that the long-running reality competition TV show hosted by Jeff Probst is available on the streaming service.
But be warned: there is only season of “Survivor” on Netflix. It is the 18th edition, which was subtitled “Tocantins – The Brazilian Highlands.” The 14 episodes of “Survivor 18” aired on CBS from February 12, 2009 to May 17, 2009. Season 18 of “Survivor” saw 16 players pitted against each other. The cast was initially split into two tribes — Jalapao and Timbira — before merging into one, Forza, in episode eight.
Among those contending for the title of Sole Survivor were R&b singer Tamara Johnson-George and beauty queen Candace Smith. While neither of them returned to the “Survivor” franchise in later seasons, four of their castmates did. Stephen Fishbach made a return...

As Gold Derby predicted, Tyson Apostol was voted out of “Survivor: Winners at War” in this week’s fourth episode. This former champion from “Survivor: Blood vs. Water” was anticipating an “easy vote” at the Dakal camp after everyone said they’d be on board with Nick Wilson going home. However, Tyson was thrown for a loop at tribal council when he was eliminated by a 7-1-1 vote over Nick and Kim Spradlin-Wolfe (Nick cast the sole vote for Kim in case Tyson had an immunity idol).
See‘Survivor 40’ advantages: Who currently has immunity idols, fire tokens in ‘Winners at War’?
“It’s for sure a bummer being voted out,” Tyson said in his post-show exit interview. “But the Edge of Extinction does take a little bit of the sting out of it. I assume it’s just gonna be living the aloha lifestyle 24/7.” In classic Tyson fashion, he concluded by asking,...

The Clone Club has gone Hollywood. (Okay, maybe only Crystal did.)
The cast and creators of “Orphan Black” hit PaleyFest on Thursday night at Hollywood’s Dolby Theatre for its first ever panel to look back on the past four seasons and hint at the fifth and final season. Holiday season movies are a time-honored tradition, but African American holiday season films exist in a genre of their own. From Malcolm Lee’s “The Best Man Holiday” to Preston A. Whitmore II’s “This Christmas,” the nuances of black life at the proverbial “most wonderful time of the year” have enraptured audiences for years. David E. Talbert’s latest entry “Almost Christmas” just might be the most satisfying entry in this genre to date.
Led by the ever-reliable Danny Glover as heartbroken family patriarch Walter Meyers, “Almost Christmas” benefits from a robust cast in tune with the material. Mo’Nique stars as Walter’s hilarious and outspoken sister-in-law May. Strong supporting work comes from Gabrielle Union, Kimberly Elise, Romany Malco, Nicole Ari Parker, J.B. Smoove, Omar Epps and Jessie T. Usher.

It's the proposal we've been waiting for! On Friday's season finale of "Marriage Bootcamp: Reality Stars," "Survivor" winner Tyson Apostol proposes to his longtime girlfriend, Rachel Foulger. The pair entered the house after six and a half years of dating. Rachel wanted to get married and start a family, while Tyson avoided his long time love's suggestions to tie the knot all together. In the clip, Tyson apologizes to his other half for being selfish throughout the majority of their relationship. "Rachel, for the last six and a half years, I've focused way to much on what I want and my happiness," he admits. "Here at the boot camp, I've realized that and it's been selfish of me. From here on out, I want to focus on our happiness together." The star then drops to one knee and proposes to a shocked Rachel in front of Jim and Elizabeth Caroll...

I missed the monkey in Friday (October 24) night's episode of "The Amazing Race." Before the episode, Phil Keoghan tweeted a picture with a money, so I was excited for a monkey, but rather than being a heavily featured monkey, there was apparently just a single monkey on a leash and I missed him. I caught the monkey in the odd Prego commercial that aired after the episode, but I sat in disappointment not noticing the Moroccan monkey who apparently appeared. Sigh. So Friday night was one big disappointment for me. That's not entirely the fault of the "Amazing Race" episode, mind you. There was a good Detour and a nicely chaotic Roadblock, but is anybody else feeling like this season is slowly devolving into a mixture of unlikable teams and boring teams? I like Bethany & Adam and I think I can root for them until they do something to piss me off.

Last night’s episode of Survivor was filled with some very candid comments from Morgan McLeod. Among the gems was this: “I am used to things being easier for me and not having to work that hard to get things.” And this: “She is a bitter, ugly, old lady. And I think she hates me because I’m cuter than her and have always been cuter than her.” And this: “If any person in the world can decide to be ugly or cute, most would pick cute.” And — after she was voted out — this: “They can say whatever they want at Tribal,...

Third time was the charm for Tyson Apostol. Five years after coming short of the grand prize on Survivor: Tocantins and four years after returning for Survivor: Heroes vs. Villains, Apostol finally won the title of sole survivor and the grand prize of $1,000,000. Previously known as a villain for his conniving ways, Apostol, 34, arrived for Survivor: Blood vs. Water alongside his girlfriend of over five years, Rachel Foulger. Apostol was a strong competitor from the start and despite suffering an injury early on in the season, he attacked the game with renewed vigor after Foulger, 33, was eliminated from the competition.

Tyson Apostol was crowned the winner of "Survivor: Blood vs. Water" Sunday (Dec. 15) by a vote of 6-1. He played a good game and he tells Zap2it that even after winning, he loves the game so much that he'd definitely go back if CBS asked.

Tyson Apostol: "What's this supposed to feel like? That's the thing, I feel the same. Am I going to feel different? I was happy before and I'm happy now. Tyson Apostol has provided a lot of comedy on Survivor over the years. Some of it was intentional, with his dry sense of humor and snarky attitude. Some was of the unintentional variety, like when he needlessly changed his vote on Heroes vs. Villains, essentially voting himself out of the game. But the guy went from Survivor sideshow to center stage with a dominant run on Blood vs. Water, finding two hidden immunity idols, winning the last two individual challenges, and making the biggest strategic move of the game in getting rid of Aras and the couples. He was rewarded...

We're down to the final four plus three Redemption Island inhabitants on "Survivor: Blood vs. Water." Who do you think will take home the money?
Hayden and Ciera tried to move against Tyson, but so far, his alliance has stuck by him. Do you think Gervase, Monica and Tyson can go all the way? If they do, do you agree with us that Tyson would win easily?
It'll be interesting to see who comes back into the game from Redemption and if Monica or Gervase can be swayed to side with whomever that is and Ciera. Who do you think is more likely to flip on Tyson?

I want to start with an apology, because you’re owed one: I am so, so sorry for ever assuming Vytas and Aras would dominate this game.
I did actually think that. Because um, uh, hmmm — well, what was I thinking? If anyone on Survivor was functioning at even 4% brain capacity, he’d/she’d have noted to the others, “You know? Maybe we should target the cocky yoga daddies with perfect bodies and metallic veins? They might be a threat? Ok, back to my vegetative state, I have 4% of a brain. Goodnight.”
Of course Vytas and Aras would both be voted out. I vow never to make a similarly dumb prediction, and that means we should start thinking about which remaining competitors are the Andy Herrens of this season, the non-threats who are canny enough to realize they must work to remain non-threats. Gervase is still the standout candidate,...

Kat Edorsson was voted out of her tribe on last week's Survivor: Blood vs. Water, and last night she lost her Redemption Island puzzle duel, snuffing her hopes of winning Survivor in her second go-around. Now, the 23-year-old Florida student is talking to ETonline about whether she regrets making a move against Monica, how her performance on the show affected her relationship with Big Brother 12 winner, boyfriend Hayden Moss, and whether she was sure at the time he would even hypothetically split the million with her.
ETonline: I know that at a certain point in [your final] Tribal Council you got the idea that you might be going home, but did you think you were going home when you went into that Tribal Council?
Kat Edorsson: I had an idea. You can tell when you're going home when nobody can look at you, and nobody can give you any type of eye contact. So I had a...

On Wednesday night's Survivor: Blood vs. Water, this season's most controversial player, retired football player and current lawyer Brad Culpepper went home after losing a Redemption Island duel. ETonline catches up with the 44-year-old from Tampa, Fl, to find out what he has to say about the attacks made on his character, as well as how he attempted to help his wife Monica go further in the game.
ETonline: You had experienced Survivor through your wife's eyes, but what surprised you the most when you played the game yourself?
Brad: I don't think much could prepare me for the 'Blood vs. Water' theme. It was much different than when Monica played, or I think the 26 prior [seasons of] Survivor. Normally when you play Survivor, you're only worried about your own tribe and your own self, you could care less about basically anybody on the other tribe. … [From the day] they split us up, it was totally different than anything I expected...

Brad Culpepper was the latest eliminated castaway on "Survivor: Blood vs. Water." He tells Zap2it that the game wasn't hard at all and he's really not like how some of his fellow castmates thought he was.
Are you glad you went on "Survivor"? Was it harder than you thought it would be?
"I loved every minute of it. It was not hard at all. Playing close to 10 years in the NFL is very hard. That's my job, that's my life and the pressure that goes along with it is severe. Being a parent of teenagers is pressure-filled.
Playing 'Survivor' was a game to me, I had a great time. The weather was tremendous, the location was spectacular. ... There were bellyache laughs every day and every night on my tribe. We had such a good time. It was a tremendous experience."

Candice Cody was one of the first people voted out of "Survivor: Blood vs. Water," as she was shipped off to Redemption Island by her tribe of returning castaways before the game even really started. She tells Zap2it that being out there with a loved one turns you into a crazy person.
Are you glad you returned to "Survivor," even if you got sent to Redemption Island right away?
"Yeah. I mean, that was the really tough break to have 30 seconds into the game. I showed up less than 24 hours before the game was going to start. Everyone else had been there for four or five days, counting up their numbers and figuring out who they wanted to work with. It was a tough break. But I was glad to have the opportunity to come out and play and ... to have the experience with my husband is beyond, it's out of this world.

Each week, host Jeff Probst will answer a few questions about the most recent episode of Survivor: Blood vs. Water.
Entertainment Weekly: A few weeks back we saw Tyson offer to take his girlfriend Rachel’s place at Redemption Island if she wanted, and she told him to stay put. This week, Monica asked to take husband Brad’s spot and he declined. Do you think these offers to switch are genuine, or are they simply for show, counting on the fact that their spouse would never ask them to sacrifice themselves like that?
Jeff Probst: I think it’s a good question.

Wednesday night's episode of Survivor: Heroes vs. Villains saw the biggest upset so far this season, as Caleb boldly and publicly orchestrated the ouster of the Tadhana Tribe's ringleader Brad. Now, Et is catching up with former Tadhana member Marissa, who may have lost her Redemption Island Duel, but not her frustration with Brad. Read on to hear her explain why she thinks Brad is responsible for Tadhana's troubles, and her dish about her surprisingly close bond with Redemption cohort Candice.
ETonline: I know you were only with the tribe for a few days, but if you had to say one person was at fault, who do you think is at fault for all the trouble on the Tadhana tribe?
Marissa: [Laughs] Of course I would blame who I thought was the ringleader, Brad. Just because he was in charge of making decisions. And at the duels, he'd be like, "Oh no, I'm...

Marissa Peterson is the latest "Survivor: Blood vs. Water" castaway to be sent home, after surviving on Redemption Island for several rounds. She tells Zap2it that Brad could be kind of offensive at times, but he's a nice guy in general.
Are you glad you went on "Survivor," even if you got sent to Redemption Island so early?
"Oh yeah, definitely. It was such a unique experience. Something that millions of people would die to be in my shoes for. I did not see being the first person voted out coming at all. I would've bet money before the game that that would not be me. Usually it's someone who's really annoying or sucks in the challenge and I was thinking that's definitely not me. I was thinking Katie was going home ... but that wasn't the case."

In this "Survivor: Blood Vs. Water" season in which half of the contestants are returning castaways and half are their newbie loved ones, Rachel Foulger was the first newbie sent home. With the return of Redemption Island, that meant that Rachel spent very little time actually with her tribe and got very little camera time, especially on a male-dominated group. Still, because we know Rachel's wisecracking boyfriend Tyson from two previous "Survivor" stints, it was easy to like Rachel because of how emotional her departure made Tyson. After Rachel lost a domino-driven Redemption Island Duel on Wednesday's (October 2)...

Rachel Foulger lost her Redemption Island battle on Wednesday night, becoming the second person to go home on Survivor: Heroes vs. Villains. Et sits down with the girlfriend of Survivor veteran Tyson Apostol to discuss how his prowess in the game was ultimately her undoing, and whether wedding bells will be ringing for the couple.

Rachel Foulger unfortunately fell victim to "Survivor: Blood vs. Water's" new twist Wednesday night (Oct. 2) -- she was targeted in order to see if her loved one, Tyson, would take her place on Redemption Island. Then she was eliminated after a particularly finicky, long challenge. She tells Zap2it she was not surprised at all to be targeted.
Are you glad you went on "Survivor," even if you went out so early?
"Yeah, I'm definitely glad I went on the show. I started Tyson dating four months before he went the first time, so 'Survivor' has been a big part of our relationship and to now have experienced that with him, I'm glad for that opportunity."
Were you surprised the tribe targeted you? The twist of targeting a specific loved on in the hopes the other half of the pair switches out was certainly an interesting new facet to the strategy.

Returning player Colton Cumbie left the game of Survivor early for a second time Wednesday night, when he quit the game abruptly during a Redemption Island duel. Moreover, when he told Jeff Probst his plans, the Emmy-winning host accused him of faking appendicitis to leave the game when he played Survivor: One World. Now, ETonline gives the 22-year-old Alabama native a chance to set the record straight.

Colton Cumbie secured his place in Survivor infamy last night when — coming off a season in which he was a legitimate contender for most unlikable Survivor contestant ever — he quit just days into Survivor: Blood vs. Water because he didn’t like his tribemates.
