Avril Lavigne’s greatest hits album has all the music that fans would expect … except for one song. The “Girlfriend” singer decided to keep one track off the album that made numerous headlines back in the day. Unfortunately, most of those headlines were not positive in the slightest. Here’s a look at a song that Lavigne might want to forget.
A song Avril Lavigne left off her greatest hits album was widely viewed as racist
Nylon reports Lavinge’s greatest hits album, which is simply called Avril Lavigne — Greatest Hits, has all of the singer’s classic 2000s chart juggernauts, such as “Complicated,” “Girlfriend,” and “I’m with You.” The 2010s weren’t as kind to Lavigne, as she only scored a few minor hits during that decade, such as “What the Hell,” “Here’s to Never Growing Up,” and “Smile.” Unsurprisingly, those tunes also appear on the upcoming record.

When DreamWorks’ original “Trolls” movie was released, it wasn’t immediately apparent that the studio was launching a musical franchise. The rainbow-bright computer-animated feature boasted a sparkly soundtrack and the voice of Justin Timberlake as grumpy, gray-skinned Branch, but it wasn’t until the sequel — “Trolls World Tour,” released straight to streaming during the pandemic — that the series explicitly embraced its Top-40 ’tude. Now, having survived the rock apocalypse of that film, the saga rewinds to explore Branch’s backstory … as the junior member of a boy band, BroZone, in zero-calorie sugar high “Trolls Band Together.”
If you’re wondering why this is the first you’re hearing that Branch once performed arena concerts — as the diaper-clad “Baby B” — with older brothers Floyd (Troye Sivan), Spruce (Daveed Diggs), Clay (Kid Cudi) and John Dory (Eric André), just imagine how his girlfriend, Queen Poppy (Anna Kendrick), must feel about the news.

Elvis Presley‘s unique moniker will forever be synonymous with the superstar entertainer. However, the name was considered unusual when the king of rock and roll first grew in popularity. Who was Elvis Presley named after, and what are the origins of his name?
Why did Gladys and Vernon Presley name their son Elvis?
Gladys Presley reportedly had no idea she was carrying twins when she delivered her child on Jan. 8, 1935, in Tupelo, Ms. She first delivered a stillborn son via a midwife.
Her husband, Vernon Presley, described the heartbreaking moment in an interview with Good Housekeeping in 1978. Vernon explained the combination of hurt and happiness during the life-changing event.
“After what seemed to be an eternity, a baby boy was born, dead. I was desolate at the loss of our child. But then my father put his hand on my wife’s stomach and announced, ‘Vernon, there’s another baby here!

[Editor’s Note: The following review contains spoilers for “How To with John Wilson” Season 3, Episode 6, “How To Track Your Package” — the series finale.]
Certain scenes from “How To with John Wilson” never really leave your brain. Kyle MacLachlan swiping his Metro card. The multi-purpose use of scaffolding. Muh-ma. Season 3, the documentary’s final season, has already provided indelible memories of self-cleaning public restrooms, an allegorical (yet very real) car explosion, and, of course, professional earwax removal. (Who’s already booked an appointment with your local Otolaryngologist?) But the finale, “How To Track Your Package,” not only triggers (and soothes) acute fears of absent parcels, it also evokes two milestones from “How To’s” debut seasons; two moments that illustrate what makes Wilson’s documentary such a joy to watch and so amazing to behold; two scenes that help send the series off with scholarly closure, while still fitting snugly into this week’s altruistic arc.

Alexander Ludwig in ‘Heels’ season 2 episode 4 (Photo Credit: Starz)
Starz’s Heels season two episode four begins with a confirmation that Jack (Stephen Amell) and Staci (Alison Luff) aren’t just going through the paces, they are legitimately back together. Jack even asks for Staci’s opinion on what to do about the Gully situation, and she sides with Willie and Bill, believing Jack will have to make a deal. Or, maybe he can just apologize.
Jack and Staci’s houseguest, Ace (Alexander Ludwig), is totally confused about what to do next. He’s supposed to be long gone – off to bigger and better things – and yet here he is, back in Duffy. Jack reminds him he’s important to the Dwl and vows to work with him as equals. Ace is, understandably, skeptical and wants to put wrestling behind him. (Jack’s sympathetic to Ace’s needs…for once.

Characters are growing, being tested, and testing themselves.
Things are changing in the Dwl, and it's impossible not to feel the excitement creeping back into everyone. They might have hit a rough patch, but they're moving through it and taking things to the next level.
There were three significant developments on Heels Season 2 Episode 4, and that's where we'll focus our time in this review.
First, let's talk about Crystal and the Women's Division.
She's done a lot of work getting herself into ring shape, but when she had to face off against a woman, the gloves came off, and she had to fight harder than she ever had to with the guys.
Tanya, aka El Dorado, has seen it all. She's been on the circuit for a long time, living on the road and taking each fight as they come available. Without an actual women's division, she was effectively freelance.

“Justified: City Primeval” wastes little time throwing Raylan (Timothy Olyphant) back into the thick of things, which is about the same amount of time it spends pretending all that much has changed. Sure, he’s based in Florida, which is where he was first based when “Justified” (Original Recipe) started; his soulmate, Boyd Crowder (Walton Goggins), is locked away in Kentucky, nowhere to be found; and Willa, his daughter, is now a teenager. But even as it brings us up to speed on Raylan’s life, the opening scene predominantly speaks to the lingering demons our favorite U.S. Marshal has yet to quell.

“Titanic” director James Cameron spoke out during an ABC News interview about the tourist submersible Titan that lost contact on its way to reach the wreck of the famous passenger liner.
After submarine company OceanGate released a statement on Thursday saying that the five people who went down are believed dead, Cameron gave his thoughts on the tragedy as a longtime member of the diving community, who has made 33 trips to the Titanic himself.
“People in the community were very concerned about this sub,” Cameron said. “A number of the top players in the deep submergence engineering community even wrote letters to the company, saying that what they were doing was too experimental to carry passengers and that it needed to be certified. I’m struck by the similarity of the Titanic disaster itself, where the captain was repeatedly warned about ice ahead of his ship, and yet he steamed...

What do you do when the late-night talk show you write for is at the top? Go ice skating! That’s what the Gordon Ford Show team did on The Marvelous Mrs. Maisel.
Actor Austin Basis, who plays Gordon Ford’s head writer, Alvin revealed that knowing how to ice skate for the scene was actually a bonus.
“Actually, when I got the part, they were like, ‘Oh yeah, can you ice skate?’ I was like, ‘Yeah. I mean, I usually don’t fall, but I don’t know if I could do any tricks.’ But, I was lucky enough, I actually did a skating part where I skated on the hockey rink during Beauty and the Beast. And I actually used hockey skates,” Basis told Showbiz Cheat Sheet.

As the search for the next Superman picks up faster than a speeding bullet, James Gunn has yet again taken to social media, showing he’s able to leap internet speculation with a single tweet.
Responding to the ever-growing casting rumors of who is closest to landing the role of Superman, James Gunn took to Twitter to…comment about not commenting. In a post from this weekend, the DC head wrote, “For all of you asking, I would never comment on who is or isn’t Auditioning for a role. That’s the actor’s business only & isn’t something I’d make public unless they did it first after the fact (like @GlennHowerton or @ZacharyLevi having auditioned for Star-Lord & being top choices). For now, only one person has been Cast in Superman: Legacy, and it isn’t any of the regular players in the Superman world”, capped off by a merman emoji.

Starting today you can play “Tetris.”
Not the game of colorful blocks falling from the sky, but the new feature film about how the rights to “Tetris” were maneuvered out of the former Soviet Union by an American programmer and game developer named Henk Rogers (Taron Egerton). It’s a wild and deeply compelling story, the kind of Cold War caper that is even more incredible because it really happened.
Produced by “Kingsman” mastermind Matthew Vaughn, the movie has a decidedly poppy tone and visual aesthetic (embroidered with 8-bit flourishes) that makes it even more fun to watch. And you can watch it right now, on Apple TV+.

NBC police drama Chicago P.D. premiered in 2014, it has amassed quite a following since. This spin-off of Chicago Fire focuses on the fictional 21st District, led by Detective Sergeant Hank Voight.

Ramen is a popular dish obviously since a lot of people have come to enjoy it in one form or another. Since people enjoy anime and love Naruto as well, it’s kind of expected that this type of episode on Binging with Babish would eventually surface. It’s fun to see that Alvin gets in on the act this time, as he’s done before, and it’s also interesting to note that this is one of the first times that he’s made ramen. Those who don’t eat a lot of ramen might not understand what the whole appeal of the dish

We've waited a long time for a Henren Begins type of episode, and the wait was worth it.
9-1-1 Season 6 Episode 6 is a beautiful ode to one of the series' best relationships and a lovely showcase for Aisha Hinds and Tracie Thoms, who do some incredible work here.
Hen and Karen have been to hell in back throughout their relationship, and here we got to see how they met and the little pieces along the way that we could only guess at. It's nice to now have a better picture of the couple who've captured our hearts over the years.
9-1-1 does an excellent job with flashbacks; they've become an integral part of the series. The most effective glimpses into a character's past will always be the ones that inform what's going on in the present day.
And this hour does a tremendous job of paralleling the events in Henren's earlier days,...

It’s been a long wait — nearly a decade, in fact — since Dwayne Johnson first signed on to become an integral part of the DC universe. He’s recently turned 50 (not that he looks it). But now, at last, he’s launched a big-league entry in the cinematic superpowers world with Black Adam.
This is a gigantic, 200 million sci-fi extravaganza that likely features a higher percentage of screen time devoted strictly to massive action and effects over dialogue than any of its comics-derived predecessors. Given the quality of the dialogue here, this is all to the good, but it certainly won’t deter the devoted fanboys who have been waiting a long time for this one. The large intended audience will no doubt gobble up this extravagantly boisterous other-worldly space circus, which certainly deserves to be seen on the big screen. There it will play for 45 days before beginning to stream on HBO Max.

Every year, Strictly Come Dancing brings its yearly spook-fest back to the dance floor.
By now, we’ve seen hundreds of dancers take part in the themed competition week, hoping to impress the judges with routines that are less trick, more treat.
For fans, Halloween is one of the biggest nights in the Strictly calendar. Design-wise, it doesn’t get more extra than this, with the perfect performance featuring a spooky costume and song choice that are well linked together. However, it’s not always easy and we often see a slightly spooky song title pushed together with a random costume that doesn’t exactly make sense or scream Halloween. After all, there are only so many times the show can do the “Monster Mash”.
The best Halloween dances bring all these elements together, from design, to music, to (naturally) the actual dancing. Among this top 10 we have a lot of tangos,...

Thanks to his affable charm, charismatic screen presence, and seeming agelessness, Paul Rudd has become one of Hollywood's most endearing performers. Though primarily known for his comedic roles, Rudd was classically trained at the beginning of his career, studying at the American Academy of Dramatic Arts-West and the British Drama Academy at Oxford University. This academic background perhaps lends an emotional truth to Rudd's numerous sarcastic and sardonic characters.
While many actors can play a funny jerk, it's hard to bring warmth and empathy to that same archetype, a specific chemistry Rudd has made his own. Rudd is also known for his frequent collaborations with writer/producer/director Judd Apatow and comedians Michael Ian Black, David Wain, and Michael Showalter. Outside of acting, Rudd is also a producer and writer who has managed to keep both feet in television and film throughout his career. A grounded performer who also loves a good prank,...

However, it’s not only alums who have commented on Tino’s red flags throughout his time with Rachel Recchia, but one specific celebrity let viewers know he was not Team Tino.

Steven Spielberg's "E.T. the Extra-Terrestrial" is the stuff of movie magic. Channeling his own childhood, Spielberg created one of his greatest films — the story of a lonely kid who befriends an alien. With his emotional, stirring, funny adventure, Spielberg conjured up nostalgia and created something often imitated but never duplicated. First planned as a scary film about aliens invading a farm, "E.T" eventually morphed into something sweeter. "For the better part of five decades, Hollywood treated aliens as hostile invaders," Spielberg said, "but I felt that had been done enough. I always regarded the heavens as a source of great solace, curiosity, and wonder ..."
Believe it or not, "E.T." turns 40 this year (newsflash: you're old!), and in honor of that anniversary, the new book "E.T. the Extra-Terrestrial: The Ultimate Visual History," by Caseen Gaines and published by Insight Editions, gives us a look at "E.T." from its inception...
