An electrician, a priest, and the President.
No, that's not the start of a joke. It's just three out of the five characters already played by Devon Sawa on Chucky.
Anyone even slightly familiar with the franchise is already aware of Chucky's constant and imminent return with each installment.
However, the almost meta resurrection of Devon Sawa with each season was an unexpected surprise.
If you've been along for the insane killer doll ride for all three seasons, then you know by now that no adult character, whether main, recurring, or extra, is ever safe in the Chucky universe.
And much like Kenny McCormick from South Park, no adult character is more expected to die than those played by Sawa.
The show stands out with its over-the-top and campy kills in a franchise that centers around a possessed doll with a lust for bloody macabre.

After months of waiting for the delayed 75th Primetime Emmy Awards to air, our passionate forum posters (some of whom are industry insiders shielded by clever usernames) were more than eager to finally weigh in on the results. Throughout Monday night’s ceremony, 26 awards were bestowed upon actors, directors, writers, and producers representing an array of TV genres and formats.
As they gradually learned who won and lost, our users collectively expressed relatively equal amounts of elation and anger. What were the upsets that left them particularly confounded? Which triumphs elicited the most cheers? And which defeats impacted them the hardest?
Below is a smattering of the praise and pointed criticism that was leveled at this year’s Emmys ceremony. Read more reactions and make your voice heard here.

It’s been 30 years since Winifred Sanderson and her sisters put a spell on fans, and “Hocus Pocus” remains a Halloween classic. So, what are the witchy women up to these days? What about the kids they tormented? Well, at least when it comes to the latter, they aren’t kids anymore.
In fact, you can catch most of them at fan conventions across the country when they aren’t on-screen. Vinessa Shaw, Omri Katz, Thora Birch and Jason Marsden have reunited more than a few times at events in the last few years, as “Hocus Pocus” found its cult following later in its life cycle.
As for the Sanderson sisters, well, they’re obviously still hard at work in Hollywood too. In fact, they just reunited last year for “Hocus Pocus 2” on Disney+.
You can see what the ‘Hocus Pocus” cast looks like now in the photos below.

Last year, Disney+ brought back the infamous Sanderson sisters to great success with “Hocus Pocus 2,” but the kids who defeated them in the original 1993 cult classic didn’t return with them. The actors who played them just revealed why.
At 90s Con in Hartford, Connecticut, original “Hocus Pocus” stars Omri Katz, Thora Birch, Vinessa Shaw and Jason Marsden appeared at a panel and discussed the absence of their characters. In the original film, Katz and Birch played Max and Dani Dennison, two siblings whom alongside Max’s classmate crush Allison (Shaw) accidentally revive the Sanderson witches. The three kids must find a way to defeat the coven with the help of Thackery Binx (Marsden), a teen boy who was transformed into an immortal cat by the Sandersons 300 years prior.

When the team behind Hocus Pocus 2 decided to embark upon a sequel to the beloved Halloween film, they faced the challenge of trying to figure out how to capture what people loved about the original movie while not repeating the same story from 1993.
“It’s a constant pull,” director Anne Fletcher told The Hollywood Reporter at the Hocus Pocus 2 premiere in New York last month. “You’re thinking as you’re developing the script and putting it up on its feet and creating the sets, the costumes, the cast. You’re constantly thinking what would fans love to see, what would feel too repetitious, what would be just the right amount of spice that the fans would love, so it was constantly on my mind. And I think we balanced things out in the perfect space, just all of...

The Sanderson sisters are back and bewitching as ever in “Hocus Pocus 2”, the long-awaited sequel to the 1993 Halloween classic.
Bette Midler, Kathy Najimy and Sarah Jessica Parker reprise their roles as Winnifred, Mary and Sarah Sanderson, respectively, in the new film, which finds the trio resurrected once again by a group of teen friends — Becca (Whitney Peak), Cassie (Lilia Buckingham), and Izzy (Belissa Escobedo) — who light a new version of the infamous Black Flame Candle.
However, when they return to wreak havoc on Salem — this time seeking revenge on the town’s mayor, a descendant of the puritanical reverend who originally exiled them (both played by Tony Hale) — they find that a few things have changed.
For one, the Sanderson Witch Museum has been reopened as a magic shop, run by a man named Gilbert (Sam Richardson), who claims to have witnessed the witches’ first night of mayhem back in the ’90s.

For as much as humans are the stars of Disney's 1993 box office failure-turned Halloween cult classic "Hocus Pocus," they've got serious competition from Thackery Binx. Of course, it helps that the adorable, irritable feline — who, as seen in the film's 17th-century-set prologue, was once a teen boy cursed to live forever as a talking black cat by the Sanderson Sisters — is voiced by the talented Jason Marsden. The actor also provided the vocals for Max Goof in "A Goofy Movie" and has reprised the role in other Disney-animated projects since then.
"Hocus Pocus" seems to close the book on Binx's story in its final minutes. Having done his part to send the resurrected Sanderson Sisters back to the grave, Binx's soul is finally set free at the end of the movie, allowing him to join his sister Emily in the afterlife. So what's up with the black cat who...

The director, screenwriter, producer, and author shared his literary picks during an interview with “The Bigger Picture” podcast late last month to promote his debut novel, “Once Upon a Time in Hollywood.”
Besides speaking in depth about what it took to pen his first novel, and revealing plans for a potential book version of “Reservoir Dogs,” Tarantino discussed the art of film novelizations, before listing a few books that inspired his work.

Goose, “Captain Marvel” (2019)
Okay, Goose is technically not a cat. Carol Danvers’ orange sidekick is actually a flerken (an alien with massive tentacles hidden inside her mouth), but Goose’s fluffy coat and knack for getting into trouble puts her firmly in the cat category.
Binx, “Hocus Pocus” (1993)
Thackery Binx was just a normal teenage boy in 1693 before he was cursed to live forever in the body of a black cat. But hey, everyone goes through weird phases in their teens.
Cat, “Breakfast at Tiffany’s” (1961)
Let’s make this clear: Holly Golightly does not own this cat. He belongs to nobody and nobody belongs to him. But that doesn’t stop him from playing a pivotal role in the movie, including the tear-jerking final scene.
Jonesy, “Alien” (1979)
This orange tabby was the unofficial mascot of the Uscss Nostromo and one of the few crew members to survive a Xenomorph attack.

Pennywise the Dancing Clown may scare kids away from red balloons but American clowns get the last laugh.
"All the world loves a clown," Cole Porter wrote in the 1948 song "Be a Clown." They get to wear the cap and the bells, and occasionally squirting flower lapels. But the image of the happy jester has been twisted like a balloon into a grotesque new mask. The upcoming It Chapter Two is now in theaters, and professional clowns are getting hit where it hurts most, in the pockets of their baggy pants.
The artist formerly known as Twinkles, now a retired clown, tells Den of Geek in an exclusive interview that she entered into the world of children's entertainment because there was a big demand for female clowns. It was a rare commodity. But she says the climate has dramatically changed. "The It movie is not great for...
