The cable channel HGTV is constantly renovating its programming lineup, constructing new offerings while leaving others to the proverbial wrecking ball. And while some ex-hgtv shows are probably better left off the schedule — the stars of Escape to the Chateau could probably use a timeout, for example — others are sorely missed. Here are eight HGTV shows that fans on X (formerly Twitter) — including one celebrity — want back on the airwaves. Boise Boys “What is @HGTV doing? Where are the #BoiseBoys?” user @AnnHeard14 tweeted in 2019. “This is ridiculous. I guess I will binge-watch both seasons today and into the night. … I want more @boise_boys… Now Please!” Boise Boys designer Luke Caldwell and contractor Clint Robertson — whom HGTV billed as renovators with polar-opposite approaches — returned to the network with a new show, Outgrown in 2021, but that successor only lasted one season. And now the Boise Boys have become Boise Boy: Caldwell...

The Boise Boys are back in town. Hgtv has ordered a 13-episode second season of the fixer-upper-and-flip series for a spring premiere.
Boise Boys follows best buds Luke Caldwell, a designer, and Clint Robertson, a licensed contractor, as they revitalize the Idaho city’s most dilapidated properties into resale-ready homes.
During its first season, Boise Boys helped Hgtv consistently rank as the No. 1 cable network among upscale women 25-54 in the Thursday 11 Pm timeslot, the Discovery-owned cable network said.

Filming commences today on All-Star Celebrity Apprentice as Donald Trump’s reality show brings back contestants from the first five celebrity seasons of the program. The cast is a curious one, missing some seemingly obvious choices like Annie Duke and Aubrey O’Day while including a few head-scratchers (Claudia Jordan? Does anyone even know who she is?). What’s also interesting is that no famous Celebrity Apprentice feuds — Omarosa versus Piers Morgan, Annie Duke versus Joan and Melissa Rivers, Lisa Lampanelli versus Dayana Mendoza — will be rekindled as none of the selected players have any past bad blood with anyone else.

NBC Donald Trump on ‘The Celebrity Apprentice’
The Donald’s recent political flirtations have distracted people from the fact that he’s ultimately got a lot more riding on the Nielsens than the polls. Given Celebrity Apprentice’s plummeting audience (the last series’ finale came in fourth in its time slot and saw a drop of nearly 25% in viewership among the vital 18-49 crowd), Trump and NBC are desperate for the show to have a “yoodge” season.

This hottie just got hired. Donald Trump last night chose Brandy Kuentzel, a sassy blonde corporate lawyer from San Francisco, as the winner of the 10th installment of The Apprentice. The 30-year-old wowed her new boss in the boardroom, trouncing her final competitor, burly Texan Clint Robertson, by charming Trump. All it took was a little ass kissing. UCLA alum Brandy triumphed after she skillfully organized a celeb-filled golf tournament, wrangling Liza Minnelli and Kathy Griffin to perform at the event. Both finalists were well liked among the other contestants, and even Trump delared them both "outstanding." "You both deserve to be here," he said last...

Brandy Kuentzel became the seventh non-celebrity winner of The Apprentice after Donald Trump chose her over Clint Robertson, and will now work with Ivanka Trump, Donald Trump Jr, and their brother. That happened after a relatively flat finale that featured both Kathy Griffin and Liza Minnelli. This season was pretty great, from a confrontation about cheating to Trump's attempt to out someone, the presence of the virus known as David to Masha threatening Donald Trump.

In perhaps the most quiet finale in "The Apprentice", 30-year-old Brandy Kuentzel came out as a winner. This season Donald Trump gave people who have been affected by the latest recession a second chance to make a decent living through the competition. The finale on Thursday, December 9 came down to Brandy and Clint Robertson.
In the final task which was aired in two parts, Brandy organized a VIP golf tournament featuring Kathy Griffin while Clint arranged a dinner gala with Liza Minnelli. Both had a successful run but Trump criticized Brandy for her poor choice of prize given to the attendants. Trump was not happy with the way Clint oversaid "y'all" which made him "unpolished".
However, it looks like the final decision was made based on the finalists' visions of their future in the Trump company. "I would really learn a lot from you and I think that maybe, maybe...

Another season of the "The Apprentice" is over, viewers, and one lucky apprentice got to hear those hallowed words "You're hired!" on Dec. 9. So who was it -- former corporate lawyer Brandy Kuentzel or property developer Clint Robertson? The winner of a job with Donald Trump's organization was (drumroll please!) Brandy.
The final challenge required each candidate to put on a charity golf tournament, which task provided challenges for both Brandy and Clint. Brandy was in charge of the first half of the tournament, which included arranging tables and coordinating comedian Kathy Griffin. Clint was responsible for the tournament's gala, which included taking care of Liza Minnelli's every need. Despite the difficulties each contestant faced, they both earned positive reviews.

The first of the two-part finale on "The Apprentice" immediately saw the firing of Liza Mucheru. The December 2 episode started right after Steuart Martens was fired, during which Donald Trump ordered the three remaining contestants to come back to the boardroom for a second elimination.
Based on personalities, Trump decided to let go of Liza because while she was "outstanding in every way" she lacked on the interpersonal skills that would make her suitable for the Trump empire. After the elimination, Liza said, "I really value Mr Trump's opinion and to hear that he didn't think I get along with people really hurt. It's hard to know that I got so close."
This left the finale to Brandy Kuentzel and Clint Robertson who each had to team up with some of the fired contestants in the final task. Brandy picked Liza, Stephanie Castagnier and Anand Vasudev while Robert got Mahsa Saeidi-Azcuy,...

It's standard practice that in 'The Apprentice' (Thu., 10Pm Et on NBC) finale, several fired contestants return to help the two finalists in the last challenge.
[Spoiler alert.]
In part one of the finale, Clint heads up a dinner gala at the Trump National Golf Club. Liza Minnelli will be giving a special performance. Mahsa and Poppy peruse the event's posters: Minnelli's name is spelled wrong.
The next morning, Poppy then notices a second, far worse error. "'Liza Minnelli' wasn't just misspelled on the welcome poster. It was also on each and every individual place card that would go on the dinner tables," explains Poppy.

Liza Mucheru has become the 13th candidate to be fired from The Apprentice. The 30-year-old Texas native was eliminated early in tonight's competition as Mr Trump further narrowed down the candidates as the competition neared the finale. The episode began with Brandy, Liza and Clint reflecting on their success in making it to the final three after Steuart's departure. However, their relief was short-lived when they were all called back to the boardroom by Mr Trump for an additional elimination. They were then given an opportunity to state the reasons why they believed they should be chosen to continue in the competition, with each citing their strong educational background and experience as markers of their worthiness. Mr Trump then fired Liza, explaining that while she was "outstanding in every way", her lack of interpersonal skills makes her undesirable as (more)...

On Thanksgiving night, "The Apprentice" aired the last episode before the live December finale, and revealed the top 3 contestants of season 10. Steuart Martens has become the 12th candidate fired from the competition, leaving Clint Robertson, Liza Mucheru-Wisner and Brandy Kuentzel in the run.
The four remaining contestants were challenged to market products by Isaac Mizrahi, and Donald Trump told them to divide by sex. The group then congratulated Liza for beating out Stephanie in the boardroom, but their celebration was cut short when Mr Trump came in to re-organise the teams into men versus women. Donald Trump called it "the strongest group of words I've ever heard on 'The Apprentice,'" (Thu., 10Pm Et on NBC).
After David's inappropriate behavior during the pedicab challenge, Octane teammate Clint told Trump that David was "the most classless, schizophrenic human I've ever met in my life. Dave cannot find his rear-end in the bathtub when it comes to business ... Win, lose or draw tonight, sir, I beg you -- I implore you -- to rid us of this plague." Steuart agreed with Clint's sentiments.
Ivanka Trump asked David what he would do in the next task if he didn't get fired. He said he'd make amends and change his game, but Clint was skeptical. "You couldn't get a job as an Oompa-Loompa making gobstoppers. You absolutely shouldn't be here." Would The Donald oblige?

Donald Trump called it "the strongest group of words I've ever heard on 'The Apprentice,'" (Thu., 10Pm Et on NBC).
After David's inappropriate behavior during the pedicab challenge, Octane teammate Clint told Trump that David was "the most classless, schizophrenic human I've ever met in my life. Dave cannot find his rear-end in the bathtub when it comes to business ... Win, lose or draw tonight, sir, I beg you -- I implore you -- to rid us of this plague." Steuart agreed with Clint's sentiments.

Kelly Smith Beaty has become the seventh candidate to be fired from The Apprentice. The 30-year-old PR rep was eliminated after playing a major role in Team Fortitude's failure during the pedi-cab challenge. The teams were given the task of creating their own pedi-cab tours of New York City. The groups were required to train and be tested in order to secure a biking license and would also need to design and sell their planned excursion. Kelly immediately stepped up for Team Fortitude to act as project manager while Anand took on the role for Team Octane. Team Octane The men all began brainstorming about their approach and decided to concentrate on pre-sales of their Roman chariot-themed pedi-cab experience, which Clint suggested. Hi Apprentice fans, and welcome to my blog for week #4. I am excited to have you all following me on EW.com, Twitter and Facebook, and I hope that you are enjoying this season so far. Tyana has become the fourth candidate to be fired on the new season of The Apprentice. The 41-year-old unemployed real estate agent was chosen as the weakest link by all of her teammates and was fired by Donald Trump after Fortitude lost this week's challenge. The groups were given a task in which they had to create a guerrilla marketing stunt which would be filmed for an online video to promote all-natural snacks by Popcorn Indiana. Clint stepped up to take on the Project Manager role for Octane, while Mahsa volunteered to lead team Fortitude. Both teams experienced setbacks early on. Tyana was unimpressed with the ideas generated by her fellow teammates as she didn't believe that the women's ideas were "big enough" for the project at hand but offered no ideas as to how to get the project on track. Meanwhile, Wade felt that the men's group was generating...

At first, I thought it was only me who mistook Clint’s name written boldly underneath his face on last night’s The Apprentice for perhaps the most unladylike of words. The word. The Big C. But it turns out all 2 of the people I was watching with also misread what it said. Donald, you might want to reconsider which fonts you’re using. You giant, clinty, son of a bitch. Loving the hot pink eyelids this season, btw.
