So far, this season of iZombie has seen Liv Moore consume some very interesting brains. As a result, she’s adopted the traits of a party girl, a preschool teacher and, most hilarious of all, a dominatrix, to name but a few. This week, she sees what it’s like for those on the receiving end of the paddle when she ingests the grey matter of the very person who killed the aforementioned disciplinarian several weeks back.
In addition to temporarily developing an affinity for masochism, Liv will experience hallucinations much like the deceased did in his lifetime. As such, she’ll be seeing a manifestation of Drake, which is on display in the clip embedded at the top. The intriguing thing is that she knows he isn’t there but can’t help acknowledging him.
As for the second clip, it sees imaginary Drake interrupt a session with “Mistress P.

Although our earliest impressions of the current season of iZombie were overwhelmingly positive, not even we could foresee how well thought out it would end up being. With nine episodes now being behind us, it’s become apparent that the producers have put much planning into the current run, possibly making it the strongest the series has had to offer thus far.
For example, characters that may otherwise seem innocuous may come back to play a significant role a few episodes after being introduced, be it in either that week’s unique murder mystery or in the overarching narrative. From what we can tell, next week’s episode, “Return of the Dead Guy,” continues to get to the bottom of the case involving the dominatrix who met her demise not long ago. Considering that they keep revisiting this thread, it may have something to do with whatever causes Peyton to land a better job,...

The CW has offered an extended look at next week’s brand new episode of iZombie, which is titled “Physician, Heal Thy Selfie.” Fans everywhere will no doubt tune in to see how the producers plan to followup on last night’s episode, “Fifty Shades of Grey Matter,” which provided a thrilling final ten minutes that turned the worlds of several characters upside down.
In this particular episode, Liv and Clive investigate a series of grisly murders in which the victims are missing their heads. We can’t quite tell from the promo footage how next week’s serving of brain food affects Liv’s personality, but we can see that she’s rather famished. In the past, we have learned that things do not really go well for her – and potentially those around her – when she is unable to acquire adequate sustenance.
The character to keep on eye on next week is Blaine.

Teen Wolf revisits its past glories with more Cronenberg-esque body horror this week...
This review contains spoilers.
5.3 Dreamcatchers
This has been an interesting run thus far for Teen Wolf. After the uneven first episode gave way to a more solid instalment, the third begins to reveal some patterns in the way Jeff Davis and company seem to be approaching this season. In many ways, this season is about fusing the old and new, and I'm not just talking about whatever nefarious stuff the Doctors have dreamed up for the teenagers of Beacon Hills.
Take, for example, the character of Tracy. She's already been the menaced callback-to-the-fourth season character type, when The Mute struck down Sean the wendigo. Now she's taking on a very familiar set of characteristics for those of us who have watched the show from the beginning, developing lizard scales on one side of her body along with some talons,...
