Actress Swara Bhasker is undergoing action workshops with action directors to prepare for the role of a police officer in crime thriller series "Flesh".
An Eros Now's show, "Flesh" revolves around the global human trafficking industry and how a police officer takes matters onto herself.
"It's exciting and obviously intimidating as well. Brave and honest police officers are the real heroes of our society and it has been a real learning experience to know about the challenges and limitations within which cops in India operate," Swara said in a statement.
"I think that women in the forces - whether it's the armed forces or law enforcement agencies - are very special because as a society we expect men to be protectors and enforcers and women to be providers. So female police officers are actually stretching the limits of traditionally prescribed gender roles and I find that very inspiring," she added.

The lead pair of the forthcoming film Bumboo Kavin Dave and Mandy Takhar seem to be in a very mushy mood when they together. Throughout the shooting of the film, one could not help but see the chemistry between the two off screen.
“Kavin is very protective about Mandy and takes care of her smallest needs and comforts,” says our source on the condition of anonymity, adding, “It’s really nice to see these two caring so deeply about it each other. Everyone is amazed to see that such a shy and introvert person like Kavin has become so bold in the proximity of Mandy.
Right now, their film Bumboo, which will be released on 30th March, is in post-production stage. But, even the snooping cameras and the swarming production guys can’t deter the lovebirds when it comes to whispering sweet nothings in each other’s ears.

His debut directorial .Bumboo. is the remake of French hit .L.Emmerduer., yet it is sans big Bollywood stars. Budget constraints notwithstanding, Jagdish Rajpurohit says he would have made it with the same cast even if he had much more money because stars don.t guarantee returns..I have a great cast - Sharat Saxena, Sanjay Mishra, Sudhir Pandey.all of them may not be a part of the so-called list of commercial stars, but they are all popular and have done some wonderful work in their career,. Rajpurohit told Ians over phone from Mumbai.A veteran theatre actor himself, Rajpurohit says he has acted in the film to cut down on the cost of the small budget film. .Otherwise, if I was to be given the same script to be made with a lot more money, I would have made .Bumboo. with the same bunch of actors. They are spontaneous and wonderful.

Cast: Emraan Hashmi, Neha Sharma, Arjan Bajwa, Kavin Dave, Gulshan Grover; Director: Mohit Suri; Rating: 3 out of 5.
Set in the backdrop of the recent racist attacks on Indians, in Australia the Emran Hashmi-starrer, Crook-It’s Good To Be Bad is a film worth watching for- not for its action or romance, but for its theme. Director Mohit Suri has done a decent job with Emran Hashmi once again living up to his regular bad-boy image. This Friday has given cinema goers a movie of a new kind, with a new theme- much much better.

Film: ‘I Hate Luv Storys’; Cast: Imran Khan, Sonam Kapoor, Samir Soni, Bruna Abdullah, Aamir Ali, Kavin Dave, and Pooja Ghai; Director: Punit Malhotra; Rating: ***
You will not hate this love story, a spoof on ace director Karan Johar from his own production house. Hats off to Karan for daring to produce a film that makes fun of his kind of cinema. Samir Soni steps into his shoes with great ease in the film.
Director Punit Malhotra takes a pot shot at everything – designer sets, boy meets girl sagas, actresses singing in chiffon saris in the Alps – that made directors like Karan, Aditya Chopra and Kunal Kohli a name to reckon with in the industry.
