Bethenny Frankel Applauds NBCUniversal’s Updated Conduct Guidelines: ‘The Reality Reckoning Is Here’
Bethenny Frankel applauded NBCUniversal’s new and improved workplace guidelines after they were released Friday declaring, “the reality reckoning is here” and tagging her former employer Bravo, a subsidiary of NBCU.
In an Instagram post, the former “Real Housewives of New York City” star, who has spearheaded the so-called “reality reckoning” movement calling for better pay and stronger conduct guidelines for unscripted television participants, applauded NBCU for addressing “obvious” issues.
“There are very few times in my career and life when I have been certain that I am on the right path, albeit a challenging one… but worth the fight for a cause,” Frankel wrote.
“To my former employers at NBC Universal and Frances Berwick, who I have always enjoyed, liked, admired and genuinely respected, Bravo to you,” she added. “You are a strong example to women, to executives and to other networks and streamers who have already begun to...

Here's one less problem for you—Ariana Grande's hot style. While her red carpet looks aren't quite as eye-catching as her latest "Break Free" music video ensemble, the 21-year-old's styles never disappoint. Most recently, Grande stepped out to the Teen Choice Awards in an exquisite crystal-embellished Georges Chakra Couture mini dress. Sticking with her trademark fun and feminine style, Grande wore an elegant straples dress to the 2013 Style Awards. Then the hit singer wore a vintage-inspired floral frock by Project Runway's Kenley Collins to the 2013 MTV Video Music Awards. Continuing her flowery streak, Grande again picked a fresh-from-the-garden print with her Dolce...

The starlet showed off not one, but two flirty minis at the MTV Video Music Awards — did you have a favorite?
Ariana Grande may be petite but there’s nothing small about her talent! The 20-year-old songstress might have entertained during the 2013 MTV VMAs pre-show, but she quite arguably had the best voice of anyone who performed during the show! The talented star played up her performance in a purple costume that could have doubled as an ice skating dress.
Ariana Grande VMAs Performance Dress:
The star’s performance outfit had a flirty and fun vibe — and it was perfect given her age and her fan base. However it wasn’t long before Ariana ditched the costume for a formal frock for the red carpet.

We can quibble about the name Project Runway: All-Stars, since I don't see prized contestants like Nick Verreos or Jillian Lewis in this lineup, but the second installment of Lifetime's alumni competition is probably going to be entertaining all the same. Truly. There are enough wild cards at play here -- each equipped with a wildly different skill type and level -- to make the season worth a run. The only problem? We need to rank which of these all-stars is destined for success. So here, just two days shy of Thursday's premiere, my predictions for the rankings of Project Runway All-Stars' new season. Spoiler: Pretty sure I made it work, guys.
13. Peach Carr
Now, I am a human being, so I love Peach Carr, her constant catchphrasing (Loved when she said that her skirt wasn't short enough to "show the good china?), and her ritzy suburban Chicago flair.

Now that we're headlong into an enjoyable season of Project Runway, it's time to play my favorite game: Ranking Years of Hotties. Heidi Klum's sartorial showdown may be a much different show now than when it premiered in 2004 (!), but the series' consistently hot male contestants remain a hallmark. Compare your listings with mine, gents.
10. Wesley Nault
His stay on season five was short-lived (only two episodes), but the unassumingly chic Wesley Nault left a favorable impression using two key items: 1) his underrated tablecloth/cups ensemble from the season-opening Gristedes challenge, and 2) his passion for wearing little shorts. Look at them. They are the littlest. And he is leggier than Juliet Prowse, thank God. After the show, he enjoyed a personal and professional partnership with fellow season five vet Daniel Feld.
9. Jay Sario

Tim Gunn, even after an incredibly long day, is the essence of a dapper gentleman.
The mentor of Lifetime's "Project Runway" surveys the contestants' new lounge at Parsons School of Design, admires the huge photos of scenes from past seasons and settles in for a long talk with Zap2it.
The Thursday show shoots at the Manhattan college where Gunn taught for 29 years. Among his missions as a teacher was that students learn the history of fashion and how it relates to whatever is going on in the world. He has an upcoming book on the history of fashion, and his philosophy as a teacher was quite similar to his as a mentor. It boils down to the three words that have become the show's motto: "Make it work."
Q: Did you think "Project Runway" would last 10 seasons?
A: I never expected it would go for two seasons -- not to disparage the show.

This week on Project Runway is a dream for those of us who have been watching for all previous nine seasons, as some of our favorite ladies from the past are going to be coming back to be the clients for the challenge. It’s also going to be a partner challenge, which is almost always absolute hell for everyone! Rejoice in the drama!
Heidi meets the contestants on the runway rocking a shiny gold top – she is the best! – and says their challenge this week will involve making an “elegant” runway look, which Kooan says makes him nervous. Oh, Kooan. Kooan is this season’s token kooky designer, and I normally always find the kooky designers enjoyable. They make things interesting. Still, even the kooky designers should be able to do elegant – or at least believe they can do elegant.

"I can see you're both just thrilled to be working with me!"
Old designers never die, they just ... come back to haunt our nightmares.
You know whenever the designers are whittled down to an even number that the odds of a "Team Challenge" are pretty good, and they certainly didn't wait on giving us the first Duos From Hell show.
The designers have to pair up to create a red carpet Emmy design for a past Project Runway designer, and my hopes were raised when they were brought to a car dealership to look at brand new Lexuses ... um... Lexi? My first thought was, "Omg, they have to design an Emmy dress using parts of a Lexus!," and I imagined Gretchen being forced to walk the runway wearing a seatbelt, an airbag, and a Lexus hood ornament on top of her head.

There's something surreal about picking up the phone and hearing Mondo Guerra's distinctly subdued voice pronounce my name. After all these months of watching the designer compete -- and eventually win -- on Lifetime's "Project Runway All Stars," this is like a breaking of the fourth wall. As much as we know we're watching reality TV, we still think of the contestants as characters, not actual people, right?
And yet here is the season's winner Mondo Guerra in the flesh (well, via cordless phone) ready to chat about his experience on this season's show.
After narrowly losing "Project Runway" Season 8 to Portland-based designer Gretchen Jones, the quirky designer -- who famously shared his HIV positive status with the world during a poignant moment on the runway that season -- returned to fight the ultimate fashion battle against other past runners up.

Before I start this week’s recap, I have to say that fan favorite Mondo is coming out of this looking worse and former villainess Kenley came out looking surprising well! If you’ve been following “Project Runway” since the beginning, you know how crazy this sounds. If you watch “Behind the Runway,” you would have seen that Mondo’s been dealing with some off-screen drama, and negative emotions happen to the best of us, but television is unforgiving. I’ll leave it at that. In any case, here we are with the last three contestants, Mondo, Austin and Michael. The task is to make a five-piece collection in order for the judges to [ Read More ]...

It was the final four last night on Project Runway All Stars. The designers got down to business in one of the best and most practical challenges yet. The designers had to create ready to wear pieces for a customer base. The catch was that the designers had to work with a tight production budget. Their business sense was put to the test along with their design skills.
Designer Nanette Lepore was on hand to work with the designers. The winning look would be available in her stores across the country. Each of the designers sat down with Nanette and her Coster to go through all the details of the garment. Each look was budgeted down to the last pleat. Michael had to nix his long sleeves because he didn’t have enough money. It showed that all of the decisions a designer makes not only have to do with...

This week’s Project Runway All-Stars (or, as I like to call it, Project Runway Seeks Redemption from the Travesty of Mondo’s Loss to Gretchen in Season 8) presented the Final 4 with an intriguing challenge: Create a ready-to-wear garment to be sold in Nanette Lepore shops nationwide — and do it with the parameters of a realistic manufacturing budget. Lepore’s “coster” — cool job title, no? — assessed the designers’ sketches, came up with retail price points and manufacturing costs, and then told each designer what he or she could spend on fabric.

On this week's All Stars, the designers have to design a ready-to-wear look within budget for Nanette Lepore.
First of all ... Nanette Lepore? Give me a break. You know she was probably born Nancy Smith.
And I'm just going to come out and say it ... I didn't like any of the designs this week. Maybe it was the challenge, or the designers are just burnt out, but they were all lackluster. But Mondo did have a few good moments.
So how did the designers do? Below and on the next page you can see the final designs and how they fared.
Austin Scarlett
It's a raincoat! Yeah, the judges were confused, too.
Kenley Collins

Michael Costello
I can so see Jamie Sommers lounge in this circa 1977.

Note: Do not read on if you have not seen Episode 10 of Lifetime's "Project Runway All Stars."
And then there were four.
This week's episode of "Project Runway All Stars" features the final challenge before the finale and Kenley, Mondo, Austin and Michael seem edgier than usual, which is kind of saying a lot for this neurotic bunch.
"There's Team M & M and Team K.A.," says Mondo, as we're shown footage of Michael and Mondo and then Austin and Kenley coupled off (so to speak).
Angela Lindvall tells the designers what they'd have to be comatose not to know: "You're all now be battling it out for a place in the finale, where one of you will win the grand prize." Then she adds something about how Neiman Marcus is "the finest luxury retailer in the United States." Totally her own words, I'm sure. "Oh no you di'int," exclaim Barneys and Saks fans everywhere.

We've only got four designers left on Project Runway: All Stars, which means we're just one week away from finale and Austin, Kenley, Michael and Mondo will really have to bring their A game to this week's challenge. It's all about marketability and good business practice this week as they'll have to design a ready-to-wear "irresistible, feminine and timeless" item for New York-based fashion designer Nanette Lepore, making sure they manufacture to a specific price point. The winner will have their item sold in Nanette's stores worldwide, with profits going to savethegarmentcenter.org, which aims to "promote, preserve, and Save New York City as the fashion capital of the world". After a quick scout around Nanette's New York store for inspiration and meeting with a coster, who tells them what their proposed designs will cost (more)...

In my defense, going into it, had I ever designed anything for a black light? No, I hadn’t. Only 5 designers left on Project Runway All Stars. Each of the designers are talented in his or her own right so the only way to weed them out is through more unconventional challenges. This week the designers’ technological skills were put to the test in an avante-garde challenge. Some went safe and some were a little too crazy. They all ended up as Jerell put it: “either fabulous of fugly.”
This weeks challenge combined technology and fashion. The designers were to put together an avante-garde look using different types of lights. Pharrell Williams was the guest judge this week and the winning design would be worn by one of the artists he works with.
There is still not too much going on in the work. The only interesting thing was Michael and his usual antics. He ended up making an array of dresseds before he settled on his Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtle look.

Project Runway took the All Stars to the Un in the latest episode to set the next challenge - to make dresses based on flags from countries around the world. Each designer is told by Angela Lindvall to pick a flag - they will then use its colour and the country's culture to influence their designs. Mondo gets to pick the first flag as he won last week's challenge and chooses Jamaica. Michael picks the Greek flag as he is Greek, while Mila opts for Papua New Guinea. Jerell chooses India, Austin goes for the Seychelles and Kenley is left with Chile. When Joanna Coles visits the designers in the work room, she admits that she is frustrated that most of the dresses couldn't be worn with a bra and warns Jerell that he could be taking the idea of saris too literally in his Indian-inspired dress, saying it looks...

Don't feel too bad for Mila Hermanovski now that she's been booted from "Project Runway All Stars." The axed designer is doing just fine preparing her new collection for Los Angeles Fashion Week and working on a little film you might've heard of -- the upcoming "Star Trek" sequel.

We’ve got questions, and you’ve (maybe) got answers! With another week of TV gone by, here are some queries we are going to throw at you, from shows including House, Fringe, Castle and Glee!
1 | So now this Olivia on Fringe is into Peter, too? Man, Lincoln Lee just can’t catch a break, in any timeline. Meanwhile, Olivia’s bladder has the worst timing, doesn’t it? (Then again, using a truck-stop restroom, she probably got off easy with a simple abduction.)
2 | Assuming that August tampered with the Once Upon a Time storybook, wouldn’t Henry be quick to notice?...

"So I went ahead and sent that Cease & Desist letter to Zooey Deschanel"
On this week's All Stars, the designers visit the U.N. and must create a design based around flags from around the world.
At this point in the competition, I'll be shocked if Mondo, Michael and Austin aren't the final three ... but the show usually likes to throw a monkey wrench into the expectations, and it's possible that Kenley or Jerell could sneak in somehow.
My favorite moments were the small snipes at Kenley, who is totally faking ignorance of the fact she's ... limited.
So how did the designers do? Below and on the following pages you can see the final designs and how they fared.
Austin Scarlett
Country: Seychelles. Ill-fitting and unfinished. Even the model looks pissed.
Jerell Scott
Country: India. I think Austin said it best when he called it "vulgar and tasteless." And yet it wasn't the losing design.

The stress got to the designers on this weeks episode of Project Runway All Stars. Drama was in the air and not just in the workroom. This weeks challenge was inspired by the Broadway play “Godspell”. Stephen Schwartz, the legendary Broadway composer, was on hand to explain the challenge. The designers had to make a costume for one of the characters in “Godspell”. The look was supposed to represent a character who is rich, bitchy and doesn’t mind stealing from the poor. The winning design will be featured in “Godspell” with a bio of the designer in the playbill.
The designers got right to work designing looks as rich as possible. After a few hours of work the competition started to get to Kara. She was an emotional roller coaster. When Joanna came in to critique her she lost it. Kara ended up crying and questioning her place in the competition,...

Thanks to a long and winding American Idol episode last night, I’m a little late to my Project Runway recapping party, so I’ll keep this to three very important thoughts:
1 | Mondo’s wild, patterned Anya-esque dress — and especially that fringe-and-gold trimmed smoking jacket (pictured, right and even bigger at the end of this recap) — was the best look we’ve seen the entire All-Stars season. That outfit was so hot, in fact, I even bought the Johnny Depp as Mad Hatter hairdo. If Mondo and Michael aren’t in the finale, I will personally lead the march to...

Eleanor Rigby takes a moment to accessorize.
After last week's debacle, things are back to normal, and the right person went home.
On this week's All Stars, the designers must create a look of separates for a rich character in the Broadway show Godspell.
If they were going to do a Broadway show, I wish they would have chosen something like Spider-Man, if only to see Kenley's polka-dot Spidey costume, or Sister Act. Can you imagine what Mondo would do with a nun's habit?
But this if for Godspell, and after meeting iconic composer Stephen Schwartz (which even I found a thrill), they get to work on designing for actress Uzo Aduba , with Tony-winner Sutton Foster as guest judge.
My favorite moment was when Issac Mizrahi called Austin ... Austin Starlett, and Austin put him in his place.

Note: Do not read on if you have not seen Episode 7 of Lifetime's "Project Runway All Stars."
There are only seven designers left on "Project Runway All Stars" and the pressure is building ... or at least they keep telling us that.
This week's episode begins with Jerell's deep thoughts about Rami's elimination the week before (or for him probably the night before): "The fact that he's gone is a bit of a game changer," says Jerell, who quickly recovers. "Can't be mad at that because eventually they all have to go, so I can get my check." Always with the sass, that guy.
The designers meet their lovely host Angela Lindvall at Circle in the Square theater, which Austin describes as representing "the pulse of New York in Times Square." Sure. If you think the city's biggest tourist trap is its heart and soul then Time Square is definitely it.

The designers went head to head on last night’s episode of Project Runway All Stars. This week each designer chose an overnight bag and inside the bag was a season. With only 8 designers left that meant each season had two designers. They had to create a look based on the season that the customer could take with them on an overnight trip. The catch this week was the each pair would face off on the runway, one designer would have a high score and the other would end up in the bottom.
The pairs were as follows:
Fall: Mila vs. Rami
Summer: Mondo vs. Kenley
Spring: Austin vs. Kara
Fall: Michael vs. Jerell
The pressure of the face off was enough to create some workroom drama this week.Normally I don’t like Jerell but he had a point last night when Michael ripped off his look. Michael had...

I’m going to come out and say it: Project Runway (regular and All-Stars) needs to send the Fashion Faceoff to the same dumpster that’s currently housing acid-washed denim, the 8-ball jacket, and anything ever worn by Randy Jackson on American Idol.
I understand that, on paper at least, when you’re down to eight designers, it’s got to be tempting to split them into four head-to-head matchups — sending the winners to safety, putting the four losers up for elimination, and pumping up the drama. But that kind of drama always ends up feeling contrived, and what’s more,...

Sometimes you can just feel the drama coming. You know what I mean? Like snow, you can almost smell it inching nearer. And this season of "Project Runway All Stars" has been relatively sedate, so I say: Bring. It. On.
This week's episode begins with the designers seated companionably around a table at their hotel suite: "When I first got here I thought Kenley was obnoxious and annoying," confesses Mondo. "But I love to push her buttons."
Could it be? Should it be? Dare we imagine this is ... foreshadowing?
On the runway, Angela Lindvall is holding eight "getaway" bags, one for each designer. "Quite the bag lady," quips Jerell, who is fast becoming my favorite talking head.
Michael wishes her next line was, "Pack your bags! We're going to Paris." No such luck.

Got to love it when a designer has a target directly in his or her sights. Especially when said target is a fellow designer. On tonight's episode of Project Runway All Stars, the remaining eight contestants were split into pairs and asked to go mano a mano in a battle of the four seasons: two did winter looks, two summer, etc. And would you believe, with Mondo Guerra, Austin Scarlett, Michael Costello and Rami Kashou not competing against each other... They all ended up with the lower scores! Mila Hermanovski topped Rami in fall, Jerell Scott beat Michael (they really liked his look, but still) in winter, Kara Janx fared better than Austin in spring and Kenley Collins bested Mondo in...

Project Runway: All Stars' sixth episode opens with an interesting challenge. Angela meets the contestants at the runway with eight weekender bags in tow, allowing each to choose one. Within each bag is a luggage tag listing one of the four seasons, and contestants must create a piece of weekend sportswear matching the season they have chosen. Kara and Austin get spring, Michael C and Jerell get winter, Mondo and Kenley pull summer and Mila and Rami are left with autumn. Turns out, it's a fashion face off - for each season, they'll be a high score and a low score, with the low scores ending up in the bottom four. They are given $$200 and 24 hours to create their looks. After using their 30 minutes of sketch time, the group heads to Mood to pick their fabrics. Michael C is, of course, unsure what he's looking for, but the...

Anthony Williams, the most recent designer to leave "Project Runway All Stars," does not have a problem with his competitors helping each other out in the workroom. In fact, he thought it was nice that Kenley decided to help Kara out with a little sewing during the latest challenge.
"I think it's a sad day when reality television has convinced the world that the only way to be competitive is to be conniving and create these alliances against other people. I don't think there's anything wrong with people helping each other," Williams says on a call with reporters the morning after his elimination. "The reality is, no matter wins that show, whatever it is you think you want to do after winning that prize package, you're going to need a team of individuals to help you."

Project Runway: All Stars' fifth episode opens with a rather tricky challenge - the designers will have to find a muse on the busy streets of New York and convince said muse to give them the clothes off their back. The designers only have a limited budget and have to ensure whatever clothes they manage to sweet-talk themselves into will make up at least 50% of their final design. It's a difficult ask for all the designers but in the end they all head to Mood with various pieces of public clothing in their grasp. Anthony even gets one guy to strip to his briefs in the middle of the park! Austin helpfully steps in to cover the man's modesty with his hat - and tells us he even managed to get his phone number! Angela Lindvall, Georgina Chapman and Isaac Mizrahi are joined by Sean Avery for this week's panel,...

As Tim Gunn might say, I’m feeling vexed and a little bit dubious about the conundrum that was this week’s Project Runway All-Stars. On one hand, the designer responsible for the season’s most atrocious outfit didn’t even land in the Bottom 2, and yet I can’t honestly argue with the judges’ choice for elimination. Alas, though, the latter contestant also happened to be the season’s go-to source for zippy quips.
This week’s challenge was simple, yet inspired: Troll the streets of New York, and find a muse (or muses) willing to give (or sell...

This week's "Project Runway All Stars" opens with one of my favorite reality show conceits: The host pretends that she planned the challenge!
"Welcome to Central Park," says Angela Lindvall. "I thought it would be nice for you to get out of the house, get some fresh air and sunshine." And by that she means, "The producers made us come out to this stupid, hot park in the middle of summer. Is anyone else sweating profusely?"
The designers must each approach total strangers, isolate a muse and also, (in what they keep calling an "'All Stars' Twist!") collect clothing off the backs of anyone who will give it up. They have a $150 budget, which they can use to buy said clothing and/or fabric at Mood, but -- either way --...

TheInsider.com caught up with recently cut Project Runway All-Stars designer and gothic crusader April Johnston. The now-23-year-old southern gal gave the skinny on how she is anything but a girly girl, why she prefers to design in black above all else, and which other All-Star drove her crazy. And on the personal front, the edgy designer also revealed that she is getting married to her longtime boyfriend on March 9 in Savannah, Georgia. Keep reading for all that and more ...

Faced with a "wagon wheel coffee table" in "When Harry Met Sally," Carrie Fisher's character Marie famously quips, "Everybody thinks they have good taste and a sense of humor, but they couldn't possibly all have good taste."
Truer words were never spoken, at least when it comes to this week's episode of "Project Runway All Stars." The challenge is supposedly "all about taste" on many levels, but everyone seem most concerned with the pun.
Angela Lindvall announces that the designers are to "create a tasteful outfit inspired by the colors and flavors of a seriously tasty dessert: gelato!" Really? It seems to me that there are more inspiring sweets, but what the heck?
On the runway, they feature a cart bearing the brand "L'Arte del Gelato" and ask the designers to pick flavors.

On this week's All Stars, the designers have only six hours to design a look around a flavor of gelato.
The most entertaining part of this episode was watching Michael's face run the gamut of shocked, from "I Need a Moment" shocked, to "Taylor-Swift" shocked. It was actually quite endearing.
Because the designers only had six hours from start to runway (the shortest challenge in the show's history), the tension was kicked up a notch. The fact that Diane Von Furstenburg was a judge added to the sense of urgency. And because of the time constraints, I'm going to grudgingly overlook such horrific moments as "Where's my glue gun?" and "I'm going to have to sew the model in to the design." *shudder*
Unfortunately, mentor Joanna Coles just isn't working for me, and frankly, I don't think she's necessary. She was ridiculous this episode, as she scolded the designers with...

On this week's All Stars, the designers are given 24 hrs. to create a ball gown for a night at the opera.
I've noticed a couple of things on this special edition of Project Runway. The shaving of the extra 30 minutes from the regular series makes it much more exciting and fast-paced, and the sense of urgency is back.
Also, I'm a bit disturbed that we haven't seen any real bitch-fests yet. There have been the usual "what is he/she/ thinking with that design?" whispering behind backs, but I want to see a Kenley freak-out or Gordana start channeling Latka from Taxi.
I still haven't warmed to the Bizarro World host and judges, but they're actually used sparingly, so they're now just a dull throb in my head when they're on screen.
So how did the designers do? Below and on the following pages you can see the final designs and how they fared.

I know, I know. I should have started my "Project Runway All Stars" recaps last week when it first premiered, but I was too busy huddled in a corner, recovering from the trauma of Tim Gunn's absence, wondering how they will "make it work."
Let's get one thing clear from the start: This is not "Project Runway," no matter what the name implies. There's no Tim Gunn, no Heidi Klum, no Michael Kors and no Nina Garcia. The accessory wall is Neiman Marcus, not Bluefly. They're not at Parsons. Prizes include a year-long guest editorship at Marie Claire and a specialty boutique inside Neiman's. There's not even immunity for challenge winners. So, if you're expecting the usual situation, well ... please don't. This is a new-fangled version.
Okay, now take a deep breath (with me cause I'm freaking out). Is everyone alright? I'm sorta dizzy, but whatever, let's continue. Our...

Now this is going to be fun. The last few seasons of Lifetime's Project Runway have been hit or miss, thanks to flavorless designers, stultifying challenges, and inexplicable judging decisions.
But All Stars brings together some of the more ... colorful ... personalities in the history of the show, and gives them another chance to get their moment in the winner's circle.
Some of the familiar faces include Season One designer Austin Scarlett (still a cross between Hedwig and Frances Farmer), Season Five's crazy cat hurler Kenley Collins, Season Seven's eternally jubilant Anthony Williams, Season Four's sensitive hunk-a-dunk Rami Kashou, and island-unto-himself Mondo.
That's the good news. The bad news is that Heidi and Tim are not participating. But neither are Michael and Nina, so we have to take the bitter with the sweet.
Sandy Duncan, Ashton Kutcher, Julia Duffy, Kirstie Alley

Much as I forswore never again to take on the thankless task of recapping a Project Runway season from beginning to end like I did last year (unless, ahem, you wanna throw some major cashish my way) we have to, just simply have to, watch the PR All Stars premiere Thursday January 5 at 9/8 central on Lifetime. I mean, how can we not? So let's take a look at the contestants and try to figure out why they're putting themselves through this hell again.
First of all you need to be aware that there will be nary a leggy German supermodel with a proclivity towards short hems in sight, nor a dashing and debonair silver-haired bespectacled and impeccably dressed mentor who's been known to give out hugs on occasion, nor a famed designer who can cut one dead with merely a sentence tossed their way. Yep. No Klum, No Kors, No Gunn.

Lifetime is bringing back some of the most memorable "Project Runway" contestants of all time for "Project Runway All Stars," which premieres Thursday, Jan. 5 on the network. Of course, it's also bringing back a few of the less-memorable as well, but the mix of contestants for the new series is quite interesting.
A couple of familiar faces you won't be seeing are host Heidi Klum, mentor Tim Gunn or judges Nina Garcia and Michael Kors. Instead, they'll be replaced by an interim "All Star" cast comprised of host Angela Lindvall (supermodel), mentor Joanna Coles (Marie Claire editor-in-chief), and fashion designer judges Isaac Mizrahi and Georgina Chapman.
The main attractions are "Project Runway" favorites like Austin Scarlett (Season 1, 4th place), Kara Janx (Season 2, 4th place), Rami Kashou (Season 4, runner-up) and Mondo Guerra (Season 8, runner-up). Then there are the less-admired contestants like Gordana Gehlhausen (Season 6, 4th place) and Kenley Collins (Season 5, second...
