Have you recovered from Joe “Grocery Store Joe” Amabile‘s abomination of a salsa on Monday’s “Dancing with the Stars”? No? We haven’t either. Joe has moved past “comically bad” on the show to “tragically bad” — ‘Tragic Mike’ is very apt to describe that dance — and it’s just painful to watch now. He scored a 15, inordinately low for Week 4 standards, but still not the lowest score of all time. That “honor” goes to Master P, who pulled an 8 in Week 4 in Season 2 for his paso doble. But which of their performances was the worst?
Joe’s salsa was doomed the second Jenna Johnson wanted it to be “sexy.” Joe is a lot of things, and it’s not that he’s not sexy, but he lacks the personality and confidence to act sexy while forcing himself to move his feet and body in ways he’s never moved them before.

With no cake, a female “best man” and a grown woman as flower girl, Louis van Amstel and Joshua Lancaster’s wedding was full of unique moments. But there was one traditional moment the couple was not going to skip: the first dance.

So van Amstel, 44, put together a routine for himself and his groom to perform for their 137 guests — including van Amstel’s best friend Mary-Margaret Humes, who served as “best...

'Dancing with the Stars' week 3 eliminations. Lets be honest, if it weren't for Kate Gosselin's dancing partner, she would have been packing her bags during the first week of the hit reality series "Dancing With the Stars". Not to mention, she's extremely annoying and nothing pisses me off more than a publicity whore and that title fits Kate all too well. I mean, she actually thinks she's a celebrity and feels she deserves special treatment. Whatever the case, what's her gig is up on "Dwts", rest assured, she'll go back to being a nobody and rightfully so.
In any case, if you've been following this season of ABC's hit series, than you most likely weren't surprised to learn which couple was eliminated. So who was it? Buzz Aldrin and Ashly Costa. Needless to say, Buzz has been absolutely embarrassing to watch and the only reason he lasted...

Kate plus eight (other celebrities, that is) are sticking around. Despite finishing second-to-last on Monday night and getting unfavorable comments from the judges — "You had the look of the super bitch from hell," Bruno Tonioli said to her the night before — Kate Gosselin remains on 10th season of "Dancing With the Stars."
It was 80-year-old former astronaut (and MTV icon) Buzz Aldrin, Monday night's low-scorer, who was sent home. The results shocked the judges, who thought that the viewers at home would save him, despite not being the experts' favorite.

Buzz performed a waltz with his dance partner Ashley Costa during the Us TV show, which told the story of a soldier returning home to be greeted by his daughter. Dancing with the Stars returned with quickstepping, waltzing, paso doble-ing madness last night, and the couples you'd expect to shine pretty much came through.
Those you expected to bomb lived up to expectations as well, and the middle tier racked up a ton of 6s and 7s from the judges in week three. So who's in danger.
If last week's wholly unwarranted Shannen Doherty elimination taught us anything, it's that you never can tell where the chips will fall in this popularity contest.
We can tell you, however, that Olympic champion Evan Lysacek and partner Anna Trebunskaya are safe after smoking the competition with a 26 on the quickstep.
Also in the clear? Erin Andrews and Maksim Chmerkovskiy. The hottest and one of the most popular couples on the show overcame adversity and came in second.

This week's challenge required the remaining couples to tell a story with their dance without the use of props or gimmicks. Here's what the judges had to say: Evan Lysacek & Anna Trebunskaya - Quick Step Len: "You are euphoric. It cheered me up to watch it," he says. His only complaint is Lysacek's footwork. He thinks maybe it's because of Evan's background on ice. He also says that the story was well told. (8) Bruno: "You were ready to give her a ride of her life," he says, and concurs with Len about the footwork issues. He adds that Evan's posture needs attention too, but overall very good. (9) Carrie-Ann: Describes the dance as "nice", "twinkling", "athletic" and "energetic". She thinks the night was off to a good start. (9) Total: 26

The most-watched show on television featured all-new challenges for the celebs and their pro partners on Monday night, as they faced a new judges' challenge that required them to tell a story with their dance about a relationship that ends in true love! First out of the gate, Olympic figure skating champ Evan Lysacek pushed through the pain of broken toes to do a ballroom-style quick-step to a song from the musical Chicago with pro partner Anna Trebunskaya, acting as a husband and wife who fight, then make up -- and collapse on the floor in a slapstick style. Judge Len Goodman said, "It really cheered me up to watch that," but warned him to work on his footwork. He gave them an 8. Bruno Tonioli agreed about the footwork and posture, but gave the couple a 9, and Carrie Ann Inaba commended them for their finesse: "I love the way you...

The 10th season of Dancing with the Stars is underway, and after last night's performances, someone will actually get eliminated. We have a pretty good idea who's in danger.
The order was shuffled and most of the dancers who got the Cha-Cha last week got the Foxtrot, while most of the Viennese Waltzers got the Jive, except for Pamela Anderson.
All 11 couples looked nervous and had some week two jitters, but there were still some terrific performances and some terrifically bad ones as well (thank you, Kate Gosselin)!
Not surprisingly, given that she was sort of a professional dancer by trade in the Pussycat Dolls girl group, Nicole Scherzinger (with partner Derek Hough) is an early favorite:

The 11 pairs of "Dancing with the Stars" returned to the dance floor this week for a performance that would determine who gets to go home first this season. They got to pick between Jive and Foxtrot.

Judge Bruno Tonioli commented, "Your energy was so much better," while judge Carrie Ann Inaba called the routine "very boisterous." Aiden Turner and Edyta Sliwinska's foxtrot seemed to please the judges, earning them a 19 for a cumulative score of 34. Bruno said, "I can see a glimmer of hope for Aiden." Carrie Ann called it a "solid, solid dance," while Len commented, "Your footwork was very good." Evan Lysacek and Anna Trebunskaya's jive was a win for the pair,...

When viewers tuned in to the season 10 premiere of Dancing With the Stars last week, they saw a familiar face: Professional dancer Ashly Costa, who is paired with legendary astronaut Buzz Aldrin, returned to the ballroom for the first time since competing on season three.
So where has Costa, formerly known to Dwts fans as Ashly Del Grosso, been all this time?
“I got married and I had two babies,” the 27-year-old tells People. Ashly and husband Michael Costa moved to Massachusetts and their first child, 2 ½-year-old Ammon Michael, was born in July 2007. Two years later their second son, Enoch Daniel,...

He may know the "moon walk," but 80-year-old Buzz Aldrin pulled in the lowest scores during the debut of "Dancing with the Stars." The legendary astronaut carved out the cha-cha-cha with pro partner Ashly Costa. Looking a bit stiff, Buzz clearly had a good time on the dance floor and the judges commended him for his bravery on the moon -- and on the dance floor. "Unfortunately I can't give marks for bravery," sighed Len, "and can't give good marks tonight." He gave them a 4. Bruno joked, "It looked like you still had your moon boots on. … Let's say it's going to get better. You're going to be fabulous." He gave them a 5, while Carrie Ann encouraged, "You inspired a ton of people tonight." With another 5, the pair scored a total of 14. Based on his performance, do you think he should be sent home this week? Give us your thoughts in the comments below,...

Buzz Aldrin may have earned the lowest score — a 14 — on the Dancing with the Stars season premiere, but the legendary astronaut is determined to stick around the dance floor a little longer. Not just to improve his hoofing skills, but to promote awareness about the space program. See what Aldrin, who's paired with Ashly Costa, hopes to accomplish during his Season 10 run, why he doesn't like the "moonwalker" label and what you can expect from his upcoming 30 Rock appeareance.

The 10th season of Dancing with the Stars is underway, and somewhat surprisingly boasts one of its most star-studded casts yet (at least by the reality show's standards).
It's hard to believe the show has been on five years, but like ABC's The Bachelor, it's not only hanging on, but seemingly acquiring more buzz with each passing campaign.
All 11 couples looked nervous and had some week one jitters they had to get out of the way, but most accomplished that fairly well early on. Those we expected big things from generally came through, and those we expected 4s and 5s from put them up, too.
No one is going home this week, but the scores will carry over until the following night. We get to see all the contestants perform one Latin and one Ballroom performance before anyone gets eliminated. This week: either the Cha-Cha or the Viennese Waltz.

Season 10 of "Dancing with the Stars" was kicked off Monday night, March 22 as all the 11 contestants and their professional partners took turn in stepping out to the dance floor. Coming out among the early favorites was The Pussycat Dolls' singer Nicole Scherzinger and partner Derek Hough.
Tackling the Viennese Waltz, the 31-year-old singer and the season 7 champion collected the most compliment and the highest scores from the judges with 25 points. Bruno Tonioli praised that the pair's performance has "startling finesse", and Carrie Anne Inaba said, "Apparently, the bar has just been set." Len Goodman, on the other hand, was less impressed. He criticized the lack of her footwork and technique.
Olympic gold-medalist Evan Lysacek and his partner Anna Trebunskaya tailed Nicole and Derek closely behind. Despite his clumsiness on stage, the skater managed to score 23 out of the total of 30 points. Goodman praised him for his musicality and elegance,...

Astronauts, athletes, actresses and more — if nothing else, the cast for the 10th season of "Dancing With the Stars" is diverse, and thankfully, they're also filled with plenty of promise, judging by their first performances in a season premiere filled with laughs, tears and dropped jaws.
Kicking the season off was NFL star Chad Ochocinco and partner Cheryl Burke with the cha-cha-cha, a dance Burke described as "fun and flirty, just like [Ochocinco]." Returning judges Len Goodman, Bruno Tonioli and Carrie Anne Inaba all agreed Ochocinco has great potential, with Goodman describing him as "a rough diamond" waiting to be sharpened. Buzz Aldrin found walking on the moon much easier than 'Dancing with the Stars'. The 80-year-old astronaut - who became the second man to ever step onto the moon in 1969 - is thrilled about his latest ''challenge'' as a contestant on the Us reality show. He told People.com: ''Walking on the moon was a piece of cake. This is a challenge!'' Buzz - who has been teamed up with professional dance partner Ashly Costa for the competition - hopes his visits to formal dances as a young man and his active lifestyle will give him a good chance of success on the programme. A day after the rehearsal photos came out, ABC releases the first official pictures of the eleven contestants for season 10 of "Dancing with the Stars". While the ones taken from the rehearsal capture the celebrities and their dancing partners in comfortable outfit, these freshly-released images offer a look at them in their dancing costume.
Pamela Anderson strikes a bombshell pose while standing close to her professional partner Damian Whitwood, while Olympic medalist Evan Lysacek shows off his gold Men's Figure Skating medal as he poses with partner Anna Trebunskaya. Shannen Doherty and her partner Mark Ballas, in the meantime, give a casual pose.
In another pic, Kate Gosselin accompanied by partner Tony Dovolani flaunts her sexy side in a full-length white gown with a nude bust and a thigh high side split. The Pussycat Dolls' lead Nicole Scherzinger, in the meantime, is captured squatting while partner Derek Hough stands strong behind her.

The cast of "Dancing with the Stars" season 10 have just been announced this week but they have flexed their muscles for sometime. Evidence from their rehearsals emerges in the form of several pictures taken while they tried some moves with their respective professional dance partners.
Jake Pavelka, who shocked people by choosing the villain as his fiancee on "The Bachelor", is seen sitting on the floor while Chelsie Hightower leans on him from behind. Buzz Aldrin, the oldest contestant this season, works the floor with Ashly Costa. "This dude, for an 80-year-old - he could probably bench-press me if he wanted to," competitor Evan Lysacek says.
Meanwhile, Nicole Scherzinger, whom many thought was an unfair addition due to her career as a dancer, admits she has suffered early injury. "It's day two, and look at my heel," the singer tells MTV News while revealing a red cut. "It's ugly. Look at that.

First photos from season 10 of "Dancing with the Stars" have been making their rounds. Taken by ABC photographer Rick Powell in the dance studio, most of them give a sneak peek at the six-hour rehearsal Nicole Scherzinger and Jake Pavelka had with their professional dancing partners on Monday night, March 1.
The lead singer of The Pussycat Dolls came to the studio dressed in some green-colored designer sweats. Joining season 7 champ Derek Hough for the training, the 31-year-old showed that she's all work. She reportedly skipped the basics and was quick to move on with some Tango moves.
"The Bachelor" star Pavelka, on the other hand, showed up for the rehearsal with partner Chelsie Hightower in jeans and a long sleeve shirt, before changing his outfit into a more comfortable T-shirt and shorts. In some of the pictures, he is snapped practicing his fancy footwork. One in particular, however, sees Hightower...

We're still reeling from the fact that Jake Pavelka chose Vienna Girardi to be his bride and that ABC subsequently chose Jake to be its 11th contestant on the latest edition of Dancing with the Stars.
It's almost as if the entire Bachelor season was meant to simply garner attention and ratings in order to ride this wave of publicity straight into Dwts. No way that could be possible, right?
