Disney Channel has officially canceled The Villains of Valley View ten months after the live-action comedy’s second season ended its run on the network. Chris Peterson, who co-created and executive produced the series with Bryan Moore, shared the news on X.
“While it was never our intention to end the series on a cliffhanger, we hope that Amy, Hartley and the Maddens will live on in your hearts (and on Disney+) forever,” Peterson wrote in his message to fans. (You can read it in full below.)
Disney Branded Television has been overhauling Disney Channel’s lineup of live-action sitcoms. “The Villains of Valley View” has been renewed for Season 2 at the Disney Channel, Variety has learned exclusively.
The multi-cam comedy show, which hails from Disney Branded Television, follows a family of supervillains forced to hide their powers and adopt “normalcy” in suburbia. Season 2 will begin production this fall in Los Angeles. New episodes from Season 1 will resume airing on Oct. 7

With the library's remodeled Johnson building opening its doors this Saturday, fans will soon be able to gaze upon Moore's incredible bronze bust of Poe, and new photos show what people can expect to see while browsing for their next read.
Press Release: The Edgar Allan Poe bronze bust will soon be on display for public viewing in the newly renovated Johnson building at the Boston Public Library’s Central Library in Copley Square, following the building’s grand reopening ceremony on July 9th.
The bust was formally unveiled and donated to the library on October 30, 2014, the plan being that its final placement would indeed be alongside many other fine busts in the library's vast art collection in the Johnson building.

Last year, sculptor Bryan Moore of Arkham Studios took to kickstarter to support his H.P. Lovecraft Bronze Bust Project. The goal of this venture was to raise the funds necessary to erect a life size bust of the author and donate it to his home town of Providence, Ri. They reached their goals and the bust now resides at the Providence Athenaeum Library.
Since the Lovecraft bust fundraiser was such a phenomenal success, a series of author busts seemed to be a natural progression for the artist, and Moore reasoned that Poe is the undisputed king when it comes to lasting works of horror fiction.
Clearly he isn’t the only one that feels that Poe is a deserving subject, Guillermo del Toro, Peter Straub and Neil Gaiman have all backed the project.
Originally slated as a companion piece to the Lovecraft bust in Providence, plans changed when an opportunity...
