A Pleasant Family Sitcom With a Good Leading Character...
5 December 2002 | by MovieAddict2016See all my reviews

Jim/James Belushi is a bit of an underrated comedian. People compare him to John (his brother) too much, and I think with the death of John years ago it ruined his career even more, so he eventually has come to star in films like "K-9: PI."

However, this show uses James' comic ability towards some pretty funny episodes. Some are real hit-or-misses, but once and a while a great episode comes along, and I tune in for it.

Sadly, this show will probably (if not already) be canceled, because:

(A) I don't think it gets many viewers, and:

(B) It is just one of those shows you know will get booted sooner or later.

Nice try, Jim. I at least, for one, enjoyed most of your show. I think it represents the true American family a bit more than most shows around, but I guess that's just my opinion... 3.5/5 stars-

John Ulmer
