Production continues on DC Studios' Superman, and just days after sharing that widely discussed first look at David Corenswet's Man of Steel, director James Gunn has now shared a new behind-the-scenes photo.
This one highlights comic book luminaries invited to set by the filmmaker and executive, including current Superman writers Jason Aaron and Joshua Williamson, along with legends like Dan Jurgens and Jerry Ordway.
Justice League International's Kevin Maguire was also on hand, as was Mister Terrific's co-creator John Ostrander and DC Comics heavyweights Jim Lee and Scott Snyder. You'll also spot All-Star Superman artist Frank Quitely (that comic has seemingly been a key source of inspiration for the DC Studios co-ceo).
"Great day with some comic book titans visiting the [Superman] set," Gunn said on Instagram. "So many of my heroes all at once it was really overwhelming."

Not content with playing one character via :a[The Suicide Squad]{href='https://www.empireonline.com/movies/reviews/the-suicide-squad/' }'s Weasel, it seems Sean Gunn has snagged another. While confirmation has yet to come from director James Gunn, Deadline reports that the younger Gunn (who has played a variety of roles in his brother's work) will pop up in films going forward as the villainous Maxwell Lord.
Lord's origins in the DC comic book universe date back to issue #1 of the 1987 Justice League comic book series, created by Keith Giffen, Jm DeMatteis and Kevin Maguire. At first glance, he's a cunning businessman and an ally to the members of the Justice League, who was fundamental in orchestrating Justice League International. His unsuspecting charm even won over characters such as Blue Beetle and the Martian Manhunter.
But then, in Justice League International, issue #12, we learn that Lord had been doing...

Exclusive: We understand that Guardians of the Galaxy alum Sean Gunn is set to take on the role of evil businessman Maxwell Lord in the new DC Universe that’s being overseen by James Gunn and Peter Safran.
The role was previously played by Pedro Pascal in the 2020 movie Wonder Woman 1984.
It’s not clear if Sean Gunn’s Maxwell Lord will make a cameo in brother Gunn’s Superman: Legacy which will go into production next year. The character, as I hear it, will be referenced in the background of Legacy but will appear in future DC projects. A similar motif will occur for other characters in the new DC Universe, the first phase which is named Gods and Monsters: Chapter One. Stay tuned.
Maxwell Lord debuted in 1987’s Justice League #1 created by Keith Giffen, J. M. DeMatteis, and Kevin Maguire. Initially conceived as an amigo to the...

This Blue Beetle article contains spoilers.
At the start of Blue Beetle’s second act, protagonist Jaime Reyes (Xolo Maridueña) asks an important question: “Who the hell was Blue Beetle?”
A lot of viewers wondered the same thing when the Warner Bros. movie came to theaters earlier this year and they’ll likely be asking it again now that the movie is streaming on Max. People don’t ask that same question of Superman, Batman, or Wonder Woman, but not because Blue Beetle is at best a C-lister in the DC Comics bullpen. Rather it’s because the man behind the Blue Beetle mask has changed several times since Charles Nicholas Wojtkoski debuted the character in 1939.
The big-screen adaptation introduces Blue Beetle as Jaime Reyes, who is a recent college grad forced to the superhero identity after receiving an alien scarab from Jenny Kord (Bruna Marquezine), the daughter of inventor Ted Kord,...

Last week sadly and rather suddenly we lost the great Keith Giffen. There will only ever be one Keith Giffen. He was a creator who as writer and artist has left behind a legacy of amazing comics. He had runs on comics, that are legendary. Runs that inspired the next generation. Runs that reinvented the wheel. Runs that defined characters and still define them today across all media. Runs that included the creation of some of comics greatest and most loved characters. So as Keith pulls his chair up to the great drawing board in the sky we look back on the man behind this outstanding career.
I have to confess I haven’t really read much of Giffen’s work. It is a shame that his passing sees me wanting to rectify the situation. However it does speak volumes about the legacy of work he leaves behind, that I...

Keith Giffen, the veteran comics author and artist who co-created characters such as DC’s Lobo and the Jamie Reyes version of the Blue Beetle as well as Marvel’s Rocket Raccoon, has died. He was 70.
Giffen’s family announced his death on Facebook Wednesday via a sardonic post pre-written by the comic book writer-artist: “I told them I was sick…Anything not to go to New York Comic Con, Thankx,’ adding “Bwah ha ha ha ha.”
His death was affirmed by longtime collaborator Paul Levitz. “The sad news is now official: Keith Giffen has gone off to create new worlds that are beyond our living reach,” Levitz wrote on Facebook. “Keith was probably the most fertile creative mind of our generation in comics. He had an infinite number of ideas, pouring constantly out.”
Levitz continued, “We did over 60 stories together. Many of them he made far better than they...

His family announced his death Wednesday on Facebook via a sardonic post pre-written by Giffen: “I told them I was sick…Anything not to go to New York Comic Con, Thanx,” adding “Bwah ha ha ha ha.”
The cause of death is being attributed to a stroke.
Giffen is best known for writing and drawing galaxy-spanning adventure book Legion of Super-Heroes in the 1980s and 1990s, at one point making the title one of DC’s top sellers. Adil Ray believes “a line has been crossed” by Jeremy Clarkson’s controversial rant about Meghan Markle.
While discussing Clarkson’s comments on Monday’s show (19 December), the Good Morning Britain host said: “Our words have consequences. We sometimes spark debate but we know our words have consequences.”
Clarkson found himself on the receiving end of backlash with his recent column for The Sun, published on Friday (16 December).
He wrote of Markle: “At night, I’m unable to sleep as I lie there, grinding my teeth and dreaming of the day when she is made to parade naked through the streets of every town in Britain while the crowds chant, ‘Shame!’ and throw lumps of excrement at her.”
The former Top Gear host said that he hates Markle, but not in the same way he hates Nicola Sturgeon or Rose West, for example: “I hate her on a cellular level,...

Matt Hancock has arrived in Australia ahead of his appearance on I’m A Celebrity... Get Me Out Of Here!.
The former health secretary will take part in the forthcoming series of the ITV reality show as a “bombshell” contestant, arriving once the show has already started and the original line-up of contestants have settled into jungle life.
The news has sparked anger across the country, with the MP immediately having the Tory whip revoked and prime minister Rishi Sunak sharing his disapproval in the decision.
On Wednesday (2 November), the MP was photographed grinning as he touched down in Brisbane Airport and was greeted by paparazzi in arrivals.
Hancock wore a white t-shirt and navy long-sleeved shirt, along with a pair of jeans, and told reporters that he’d had a “very pleasant flight”.
However, when asked how he felt about entering the jungle, Hancock said he was “keeping my...

Susanna Reid was forced to apologise after a Good Morning Britain guest called Matt Hancock a “d***head”.

During a heated discussion on the topic, right-wing journalist Andrew Pierce, who works for The Daily Mail, made the comment about Hancock to Reid’s dismay.
“He’s a d***head... I can say that, can’t I?” Pierce said.
Reid jumped in: “No! Apologies, everyone.”
However, many viewers watching the moment seemed amused by the outburst.

This Young Justice: Phantoms article contains spoilers for the newest episodes – “Nautical Twilight,” “Ebb Tide,” and “Emergency Dive”
Young Justice: Phantoms is back from break, with a batch of episodes focusing on Atlantis. While we got a taste of Atlantean history in the last arc, these episodes give us a heavy dose of Atlantis’ present. Along with Posiedonis, Xebel, Crastinus, Xeris, Lemuria, Neptunos, Nanauve and Shayeris. Get ready for some geography! And some deep dives into some very obscure Aquaman family characters.
Atlantean Geography
The first episode, “Nautical Twilight,” introduces us to Atlantis’ annual peace conference, where representatives from the 8 undersea city-states gather to peacefully hash out difficult issues. Those city-states are:
Crastinus, a city in the Arctic Ocean, represented by Lord Ronal.Lemuria, a city in the north Pacific, represented by Prime Minister Topo.Neptunos, a city in the south Pacific, represented by Emissary Coral.Nanauve, a city in the Southern Ocean,...

This article contains The Suicide Squad and Peacemaker and spoilers.
Picking up right where James Gunn’s The Suicide Squad left off, Peacemaker was a profane, hilarious, and brutally violent exploration of the weirder side corners of the Dceu that fleshed out the world of Argus and Task Force X. It even brought some new depth to Amanda Waller as a bonus. Like Gunn’s DC movie, Peacemaker wasn’t afraid to revel in some obscure DC Comics references and by implication expand the boundaries of the Dceu (Green Arrow! Doll Man! Matter-Eater Lad!). But nobody really expected the Justice League to show up…did they?
Well, they did. And it was awesome.
Yes, the Peacemaker season finale actually delivers a Justice League cameo. A joke earlier in the episode to “call the Justice League” paid off with Superman, Aquaman, The Flash, and Wonder Woman appearing mostly in silhouette, too...

Co-created by writers Keith Giffen and J.M. DeMatteis and artist Kevin Maguire, Maxwell "Max" Lord IV made his debut in "Justice League" #1 in May of 1987 as a businessman whose behind-the-scenes backing helped make the Justice League International team possible. Later, he was revealed to have either manipulated, or been manipulated by, various villains and artificial intelligences, until DC Comics decided that, nope, he'd just been a bad guy all along.
As the heir to a corporate empire with an affinity for the slightly sleazy get-rich-quick schemes of used car salesman Larry Dallas on "Three's Company," Max was created as a comic relief character for a team...

Actor Pedro Pascal says he has been influenced by the 1980s, and it is something that continues to stay with him.
The actor asserted that the era added a different sort of charm to the world of the upcoming film, "Wonder Woman 1984".
"The era that has influenced me and really stayed with me the most is the eighties, for better or worse, I suppose," Pascal said.
"That feeling of nostalgia, getting to plunge into that world with a brilliant filmmaker who understands it so well... The Mandalorian’s Pedro Pascal has a big role in Wonder Woman 2. But who’s he playing?
Maxwell Lord is a fascinating inclusion in the cast of Wonder Woman 1984. The character has a...let’s just say troubled...history with Diana Prince in the comics, but he’s filled many roles in DC Comics continuity over the years. His presence in this movie possibly signals a bunch of different directions the film and the Dceu could take, and with the movie coming at us quickly, we figured it would be a great time to take A Good Look Around at what Maxwell Lord has meant to the DC Universe.

Lobo is coming to Krypton season 2 to frag some bastiches. Here's everything you need to know about The Main Man.
Krypton season 2 introduces...I was going to say “most unexpected,” but Adam Strange is already here so I guess Lobo is more like one of the most unexpected characters on the show. Lobo! The Main Man! The Last Czarnian! An unkillable force of the universe with no morals and a hunger for big bounties! But there’s a big question with his inclusion in an otherwise serious show:
Are they really doing this?
Lobo is a bit of a gag character. He’s an unstoppable intergalactic bounty hunter, originally introduced by Roger Silfer, Keith Giffen, and Mike DeCarlo in the pages of Omega Men #3 back in 1983. His original background was massively different from what it would eventually become, but the hyper-competent, amoral bounty hunter element was there from the start.

Just as there are no limits to fandom with an amazing breadth and scale of stories to fall in love with, there are no limits to the places to explore that fandom alongside your nerd herd, or geek tribe of choice.
For the better part of a decade, and at least the past six years, I have worked as a nerd-gone-pro, speaker, host, and moderator at up to two dozen cons annually across the country, and the globe. Suffice to say, I know and love the con scene. While there are staples to most pop culture events – celebrity signings, photo ops, cosplayers, t-shirt and toy vendors, after parties and hopefully an endless selection of comics – each town has a unique vibe due to eclectic bunch of attendees.

I don’t know why the story reprinted in I Can’t Believe It’s Not the Justice League so obviously positioned itself as a one-time one-off. As a former editor and current marketer, I’m strongly against interrupting customers while they’re buying your stuff, but I’m not DC Comics.
And this book does make it clear, in little ways all the way along, that this will be just as much of this silliness as we’re going to get, so you’d better enjoy it now while you have it.
Maybe that was because writers Keith Giffen and J.M DeMatteis realized the high bwah-ha-ha style was harder and more demanding than they remembered, and wanted to get back to simpler punch-fests. Maybe this was all the time for penciller Kevin Maguire that they would ever get again, and they wouldn’t dream of doing it without him.

Although Oliver Queen made some minor alterations to his look throughout the first three seasons of Arrow, it wasn’t until the fourth year that he received a massive upgrade when it came to what he wore out in the field. Similarly, the Flash was rewarded with a shiny new costume once season 4 of his own show rolled around.
Now, with Supergirl confirmed to be returning for the 2018-19 broadcast year along with its other DC TV brethren, we can’t help but shake the feeling that the Girl of Steel will soon undergo a visual overhaul. After all, not only would this be in keeping with the aforementioned timeline established, but our heroine could very well have her world shaken up before long if this situation with Reign ends as brutally as we assume.

In other words, it’s time for a makeover!

John Oliver announced he was shuttering his HBO late-night show after Russell Crowe thanked him for spending so much money on his divorce auction by giving the money to the Australia Zoo Wildlife Hospital for creation of the John Oliver Koala Chlamydia Ward.
Oliver previously mopped up some of the top items Crowe had put up for auction, including his Cinderella Man jock strap, and donated them to the last remaining Blockbuster in Anchorage, Alaska, in hopes it would boost business. But Oliver also wound up with the winning bids on Crowe’s director chair from American Gangster, the vest he wore in Les Miserables, and a hood he wore in Robin Hood. “It was 4 Am, and you know what happens when you start online shopping late at night,” Oliver explained of the binge bidding, on an episode of Last Week Tonight that aired back in April.

A couple months ago, fan-favorite Marvel Comics writer Brian Michael Bendis left Marvel for DC Comics. After a couple months of speculation about what Bendis would be working on at DC, now we know. Thanks to Forbes, it's been revealed that he will be taking over the writing duties for three Superman titles, resurrecting Jinxworld, and launching an all-new imprint.
According to the report, Bendis will take on the Last Son of Krypton, which officially kicks off with a new story to be included in Action Comics #1000 coming out in April. After that DC will release his 6-issue miniseries Man of Steel starting May 30th.
Man of Steel will be published on a weekly basis and it will include art from Ivan Reis, Evan “Doc” Shaner, Ryan Sook, Kevin Maguire, Adam Hughes, and Jason Fabok. Above you will find a first look at the original pencil art for four of...

Not long ago, the comic book world was knocked on its collective rear upon hearing that one of Marvel’s greatest stalwarts, Brian Michael Bendis, was finally packing up and leaving town to work exclusively with DC. Granted, most big name creators hop between both major publishers at various points throughout their respective careers and we knew the day would probably come for Bendis, but the news was no less shocking.
Now, it’s only understandable that fans and journalists alike speculated as to which titles Bendis would actually pen. Having charted new territory for the likes of the Avengers, X-Men, and Spider-Man during his stay at the House of Ideas – in addition to being the chief architect behind many of their major crossover events – one would naturally expect him to take over a top tier title, and that’s exactly what’s happening as he’ll soon take the...

Comic Book Reviews: DC Comics Round Up Week 08-24-2016
Recently I put up an article here on Lrm about getting into Batman for new or casual readers (and to an extent, some of the more regular comic book readers out there). I broke it down to three good jumping on points, of which Tom King’s "Batman: Rebirth #1" was used. Now with some of the "Rebirth" books getting near issue six, I can say almost (Almost, not All!) all of the official "Rebirth" books have been an excellent introduction to the series for new readers. On that front, DC has been hugely successful (and the sales numbers are showing it). While continuity is still a bit funky, and events within titles don’t really seem to match up in a macro sense, each individual series has been a blast to read. While I am still reading Marvel books,...

Variant covers are something of a tradition in American comics--usually superhero comics. While I generally abhor the tradition for two reasons (one, the covers never represent the actual content in the books, and two, I hate that it preys on the completionist's Ocd), even I have to admit that they tend to get some quality cover designs out of it, and if this first series of covers is any indication, this will be no exception.
In celebration (and promotion) of the upcoming Batman v Superman, DC will be producing three variant covers for ten issues of comics. The first issue to get this treatment will be Detective Comics #50, with the cover being done by Rafael Grampa.
You can check out these covers below!
Below is the full list of comic issues that will be receiving the treatment:

Britain's Got Talent came to an end tonight (May 31) as one lucky winner claimed a spot at this year's Royal Variety Performance.
Jules O'Dwyer and Matisse topped the viewer vote and were duly named Britain's Got Talent 2015 champions.
We round up the reaction on social media to tonight's Britain's Got Talent live final below.
Firstly, there was a lot of moaning about the number of adverts during the show:

I've just voted for the @plusnet advert. Not got the hang of this yet. #BGTfinal

I don't normally watch @Bgt and these adverts after every act are reminding me why. So annoying. #BGTfinal
— Chris Jay Lewis (@c_j_lewis) May 31, 2015
Two and a half hours of #BGTFinal tonight, that's 43 minutes of the show and 107 minutes of adverts

Do you long for the more innocent days when Adam West and Burt Ward raced across your television in Technicolor glory battling the charismatic villains of Gotham City? When you think of the Joker, does a Latino actor who refused to shave his mustache come to mind before Heath Ledger or Jack Nicholson? Do you constantly find yourself wondering where the "Pow's" and the "Bam's" are as you sit through the Tim Burton and Christopher Nolan Dark Knight films? If you answered yes to any of the questions above, then Batman '66 Volume 1 is tailor-made for you!
DC Comics releases the first five print issues of Batman '66 for fans of the psychedelic and campy romp we all grew up with. I specifically remember watching the series at my babysitter's house after school every chance I could get. If you prefer your Caped Crusader a little less gloomy and a little more fun,...

Justice League United #0
Written by Jeff Lemire
Art by Mike McKone
Colored by Marcelo Maiolo
Published by DC Comics
First of all, I feel a bit odd as an American is reviewing a book that was originally called Justice League Canada for a Canadian website. Nonetheless, Justice League United #0 is a weird, little book filled with laughs, obscure characters, and a bit of science fiction tinged mystery. It features some underused and potentially interesting DC Universe characters, like Martian Manhunter and Animal Man, as well as a new teen Cree hero from rural Ontario. Writer Jeff Lemire and artist Mike McKone really commit to the rural Canadian setting even if “Justice League Canada” currently has one member who is actually Canadian. McKone and colorist Marcelo Maiolo depict the snow drifts and trees near Moose Bay, Ontario with care and detail contrasting the dreary Canadian winter with the colorful and mysterious alien visitors.

This is the time of year when the ComicMix crew starts to firm up our attendance at various comic conventions in the year ahead. It’s a frustrating process because there are a lot of shows and we can’t go to all the ones we’d like to attend.
It also makes me really angry.
Last year was the first in a long time that I went to a bunch of cons. It was fascinating and fun most of the time, but annoying at others. Twenty years after we started Friends of Lulu, there are still remarkably few women invited to be guests at the shows.
This is odd, because there are a lot of women working in the industry, and (capitalists take note) even more buying comics and tickets to cons. Wouldn’t show organizers like to demonstrate to this market segment that they are welcome and valued?...

This weekend is looking particularly amazing for those of you living in (or traveling to) the Dallas area, because this year’s Dallas Comic Con’s Sci-Fi Expo is overflowing with stars of screen and comics. Richard Dreyfuss! Karl Urban! Stephen Amell! Karen Gillan! The Warehouse 13 and Defiance casts! Ian Churchill! Chris Sprouse! And So Many More.
And if you’re lucky, you might even spot SciFi Mafia Senior Managing Editor Lillian Standefer! Details are below, but Please Especially Note this fine print from the official website: Note: We will allow all pre-registered guests to enter the building Before we start ticket sales at the box office. This may delay the box office ticket sales for 30-60 minutes.
Oscar winner, Richard Dreyfuss tops Sci-Fi Expo line-up!

As a fan of Batman, I'll pick up anything that has to do with the Dark Knight's extended family. Therefore, I've been keeping up with the adventures of Huntress and Power Girl as they make their way through the crime-ridden streets of our universe and try to find a way back to Earth 2. I was excited to dive into World's Finest Volume 2: Hunt and Be Hunted, but walked away a bit disappointed.
In World's Finest Volume 2: Hunt and Be Hunted, Power Girl and Huntress's search for a way home to Earth 2 is interrupted by enigmatic assailants working for or with their previous ally, Michael Holt, a.k.a. Mister Terrific. What sort of ties could he have to a group who want to see the two heroes dead?

Guardians of the Galaxy #10
Writer: Brian Michael Bendis
Artist: Kevin Maguire
Publisher: Marvel Comics
A lot of writers talk about writing with their artist in mind but in Guardians of the Galaxy #10, you can see just how Brian Michael Bendis slightly changes up his storytelling in this issue to perfectly suit his guest artist Kevin Maguire. Featuring his second “girls night out” story in recent weeks (see also Uncanny X-Men #15,) Bendis shows Gamora, the deadliest woman in the galaxy, teaming up with Angela, a mystery wrapped in a lawsuit-sized enigma, tracking down the now missing Thanos and also fighting a bunch of Badoon slavers. The plot is what it is- a fun character piece to show these two warrior women bonding but the star of the issue is Kevin Maguire as Bendis writes a story that’s perfectly tailored to showcase Maguire’s artwork.

In the aftermath of Infinity, Guardians of the Galaxy returns to its previous state of being a directionless series. When it restarted it did have a plot involving Star-Lord and his dad King J’Son of Spartax but that got derailed when Angela showed up and then Guardians became one of the titles that got sucked into Infinity. Now that Infinity is over, Guardians of the Galaxy #10 underlines the absence of a plot or any real development of what little story there is in the series. That said, it’s actually not a bad comic.
In this issue, the Guardians are unaware of the fate of Thanos and are looking for him among the Badoon, an alien race who have allied themselves alongside Thanos in the past. But, as readers of Infinity will know, Thanos is on Earth held in living stasis thanks to his son Thane. The comic follows...

There are some interesting developments in Justice League Dark #23, but the comics is primarily an extended fight scene with some bickering and the plot twists for good measure. Even though it has the most action of any of the “Trinity War” books, Justice League Dark #23 acts as a table setting issue for the earth shattering event finale next week. The characters also occasionally feel like ciphers to move the plot and not living, breathing people. However, Jeff Lemire still manages to explore a few of the characters who have been neglected in this event, including Zatanna, Stargirl, Frankenstein and Madame Xanadu. The DC Universe is a place that is never safe from change; not even 3000 years in the future. It appears as though, as of August 8, Kevin Maguire will no longer be associated with Justice League 3000 and long-time Justice League of America artist Howard Porter will be filling his shoes.
News first broke when Maguire made a rather sardonic Tweet announcing his new freelance status. While DC remained characteristically tight-lipped regarding Maguire‘s departure, Newsarama.com learned that Porter would take over for Maguire, teaming him with co-writers Keith Giffen and J.M. DeMatteis for the 31st century take on the classic Justice League of America team.
“The guy who nailed the character designs on the interior of the book? The guy who teamed with Grant Morrison to make Jla a hit? This is what they call a no-brainer,” said Giffen. “Welcome aboard Howard. I think this is the beginning of a beautiful collaboration.

Earlier this week, Cbr News debuted the first look at Howard Porter's designs for the upcoming "Justice League 3000," which gave readers a glimpse of future versions of Batman, Superman, Wonder Woman, Green Lantern and the Flash. The DC Comics series re-unites "Justice League" creators Keith Giffen, J.M. Boosterrific! Oh, DC, you came so close to a slam dunk. If you had told me Keith Giffen, J. Marc DeMatteis and Kevin Maguire would be working on Legion of Super-Heroes, I’d have been beyond excited. After all, Justice League International was nothing if not a superb ensemble comedy, and what richer source of super-ensemble action does DC have than the Legion? Instead, though, we’re getting Justice League 3000, set in the Legion’s 31st century and apparently following the events of August’s final Legion issue, but not explicitly tied to the 55-year-old super-team. This raises two questions. First, whither the Legion...

How close to Superman lore does Man Of Steel fly, and are its changes for the better, asks Seb...?
Warning: This feature contains lots of spoilers for Man Of Steel.
A little over two years ago, I was at a screening of Zack Snyder’s film Sucker Punch, which also featured a Q&A with the director himself beforehand. Despite the protestations of the PR people and the fact that nobody was able to ask questions about a film they hadn’t yet seen, Snyder had only days earlier been announced as the director of a rebooted Superman film. As such it meant that the Man Of Steel was heavily on the agenda.
I was one of the audience members who asked a question that night, and was met with a dismissal of sorts by Snyder when I asked if there were any particular storylines,...

In yet more proof that Hollywood is looking for comic book properties and talent, Seth Meyers will be the next host of NBC’s “Late Night,” the network announced Sunday. Mr. Meyers will succeed Jimmy Fallon, who is moving up one hour to take over NBC’s “Tonight Show.”
Meyers is best known for writing 2009′s Spider-Man: The Short Halloween, co-written with Neil Gaiman impersonator Bill Hader and Justice League and Worlds Finest artist Kevin Maguire. Meyers also currently has a job as the head writer on “Saturday Night Live” and host of its “Weekend Update” segment.
