The NCIS prequel at CBS has found its young Gibbs.
Austin Stowell (Peacock’s A Friend of the Family) will play the younger version of Leroy Jethro Gibbs in NCIS: Origins, which is set in 1991 and will look at the early days of Gibbs’ career in the Navy’s criminal investigations branch. The show’s time frame, 12 years before NCIS began, and Stowell’s real-life age, 39, track with that of Mark Harmon (51) when he originated the character on NCIS predecessor Jag in 2003.
NCIS: Origins is set to be part of CBS’ 2024-25 schedule, as the network gave the show a straight-to-series order in early January. The franchise from CBS Studios currently encompasses the main series, which is in its 21st season; 3-year-old spinoff NCIS: Hawai’i; NCIS: Sydney, the first international edition of the show; and a forthcoming Paramount+ spinoff that will feature the return of former regulars Cote de Pablo and Michael Weatherly.

Cameron and Jared are zombies and the “Big Brother 25” house is is purgatory because they’re never making jury at this point. Only two people have been evicted in the past four weeks and the Pressure Cooker and double eviction were basically pointless this season. And now we’re just stalling to get to 100 days with no comps. It’s gonna be a long week, especially with Jared on the warpath.
The zombies did indeed return to the house Thursday night and Jared was not happy, as you might’ve expected. When the feeds returned, he was interrogating Matt along with Cirie. Way to make it even more obvious you’re a duo. Part of Jared’s downfall was his obliviousness and the condescending tone with which he speaks to people. He’s still acting like he’s Hoh here when he has no power at all and might not even return to the game.

Hey, "Big Brother" fans. Tonight, September 21, 2023, another new, Live eviction episode for Big Brother's current season 25 did indeed hit the air, and we saw not 1, but 2 people get evicted since it was a Double eviction episode. However, there was a twist that was revealed at the end, which totally changed everything. Tonight's Live, double eviction episode kicked off with footage of what took place in the house after reigning Pov (Power Of Veto) winner Jag saved Cory from the eviction chopping block, and reigning Hoh (Head Of Household) Jared replaced Cory with Cameron at the last Pov ceremony. America told the private cams aka the Diary Room, "At least I'm up against Cameron. He creates a lot of chaos in the house. No one ever really knows where his head is at." Next, a transmission twist message from the Scaryverse showed up, but nobody knew what it meant. From there,...

It’s the most thrilling evening of the season for any Big Brother devotee: Double Eviction Night!
On the heels of last week’s news that Big Brother is reverting to a seven-person jury this season — instead of the usual nine — the CBS series took the opportunity on Thursday to boot its last two pre-jury evictees in the same hour, by way of a double eviction.

Wednesday was the most low-key Wednesday in the “Big Brother 25” house yet. No panicking, no flip-flopping, and all the drama (not really) came from a Scaryverse message.
The houseguests received a word puzzle with missing letters during the day. No one could decipher it, but it put them on alert about a double eviction this week and they speculated about a Battle Back. There also may or may not have been a “Z” in the puzzle, which also made them guess Bb Zombies. Despite all that to stoke paranoia, they remained steadfast in booting Cameron on Thursday. As usual, there were some mild discussions about flipping the vote, but nothing serious. And if the house had its way, Jared will follow Cam out the door. The now Six Deadly Sins convened, during which Jared, still clueless, said he’s not worried about Cory or America putting him up “as long as this group’s solid.

Heading into the Week 7 Veto episode of “Big Brother 25,” repeat Head of Household Jared Fields had just nominated Cory Wurtenberger and America Lopez for eviction. The previous week, the two lovebirds had turned the tables on the son-mother duo of Jared and Cirie Fields by going after Izzy Gleicher instead of Felicia Cannon. If the Power of Veto is used to save either Cory or America, Jared has suggested that Cameron Hardin might be his backdoor plan. So how did it all play out?

What a difference a day makes. After being gung-ho about targeting Jared and Cirie on Monday on “Big Brother 25,” Felicia wasn’t so sure anymore by Tuesday.
As she told Mecole, her “spirit is saying to shift.” Felicia realized that Jag and Blue “used the same language” when they talked to her about taking out the Fieldses, so now she’s spooked that they can’t trust their new alliance, so to speak, and thinks that they might be badmouthing her to Jared and Cirie. She still doesn’t trust Jared and Cirie, but she thinks once they’re gone, she and Mecole will be next on the hit list. Felicia asked if they should give Jared and Cirie a heads-up and Mecole said they should just stay in the middle since Jared and Cirie are going to be targeted anyway and Cirie was unlikely to target the two of...

Hey, "Big Brother" fans. It's time again. We are back with another very important update from inside the Big Brother season 25 house. Yesterday morning, September 18,2023, the Pov ( Power Of Veto) ceremony took place, and we have the results of it in this article. Before we dive into what happened at the Pov ceremony, we're going to do our usual, quick recap of this week so far for any of you who aren't up to speed on everything. This past Thursday night, September 14, 2023, Jared became the latest Hoh (Head Of Household) after winning the very tough wall competition. Then, on Friday, September 15, 2023, Jared decided to nominate Cory and America for eviction during his nomination ceremony, and his ultimate plan was to backdoor Cameron. On Saturday, September 16, 2023, Jag was able to win the latest Pov competition, and that all leads us up to yesterday's September 18, 2023 Pov ceremony.

The Veto ceremony went as expected on Monday in the “Big Brother 25” house: Jag pulled down Cory and Jared put up Cameron. There probably won’t be any flip-flopping this week since everyone is itching to get Cameron out the door, so the drama is coming from a new split house.
It’s basically the house vs. the Fieldses in there. Jared and Cirie have been losing their grip on the house since last week and now everyone (Bowie to a lesser extent) wants them gone next. After Mecole and Felicia figured out over the weekend that mother and son wanted Felicia out last week, Felicia is now fully against the Fieldses and is willing to win Hoh to boot them. She wants Jared out first, but she’s fine with Cirie going next if they can’t get Jared, which is everyone’s position as well. Matt and Jag...

We’re midway into Week 7 on “Big Brother 25,” with repeat Head of Household Jared Fields priming a possible backdoor of Cameron Hardin while using Cory Wurtenberger and America Lopez as the initial (pawn) nominees for eviction. Last week, the game was flipped on its head for the son-mother duo of Jared and Cirie Fields when America initiated a big move against them by convincing Cory to work to get the house to vote out their closest ally Izzy Gleicher.
Will the Power of Veto comp fall in favor of Jared’s backdoor plan? And if so, what will come of the fractured friendship between Cory and Jared? The chaos won’t end soon as Julie Chen Moonves let us in on this week’s schedule that culminates in a double eviction on Thursday, September 21.
Below, read our first power rankings of the season for the Top 11 as we anticipate who...

After a turbulent week last week on “Big Brother 25,” this one ought to be a lot more straightforward, though you never know with this group. But they can finally do what they’ve passed up multiple times: evict Cameron.
Jag won Veto on Saturday, which means he will use it on either Cory or America (likely the former) on Monday and Jared can execute his Cam backdoor plan. The plan was hardly a secret and the tension before Veto was hilarious. Everyone was worried Cam would get picked. Cam pushed for America to pick him for Houseguest’s Choice, but his chip was drawn anyway (after a redraw had to be done because Jag’s chip was drawn after Cory chose him for Houseguest’s Choice). Before the Veto started, Cirie told Jared to put her up as the renom in case Cam wins and uses it. This came after Blue,...

And then there were 11. After the eviction of Izzy Gleicher from the “Big Brother 25” house, Cirie Fields and Jared Fields found themselves at the bottom of the totem pole. The entire house seemed to be against the mother-son duo, but they still had a chance of shaking things up in the backyard, where the classic endurance Wall Hoh competition was taking place. So who won this all-important power, and which two players were nominated for eviction?

It was a chaotic first weekend in the “Big Brother 25” house, but one thing has been constant: Kirsten is still the target.
Reilly removed Cory and Jared from the block on Friday, leaving Felicia up there as a pawn, assuring her that she’s got the votes to stay. On Saturday, Hisam won the Veto and there are no plans for him to use it, despite a valiant campaign by Kirsten, so noms will remain the same and Kirsten will be the first boot of the season (or will she just go to the Nether Region?).
Meanwhile, alliances have formed (obviously) and this cast is all about protection. There is an alliance of eight called Family Style with Reilly, Jag, Blue, Matt, Cameron, Cory, America and Jared. Within that, there’s the Handful with Reilly, Jag, Blue, Matt and Cameron. And within that Crowd Control with Reilly, Jag and Blue.
