This is Day 109 of the WGA strike and Day 36 of the SAG-AFTRA strike.
The WGA and SAG-AFTRA teamed up for its first bicoastal picket in Los Angeles and New York on Friday, and Latino Hollywood showed up in droves.
At Warner Bros. in Los Angeles, more than 2,000 actors, writers and supporters hit the sidewalks as temperatures hit the high-80s. Salsa and Bachata music blasted through the speakers near Gates 2 and 3 as patient strike captains including Vida star Chelsea Rendon, kept everyone moving safely. One captain was overheard saying, “You have to keep moving, but you don’t have to stop dancing!” And so they did.

[Warning: The below contains Major spoilers for the series finale of Mayans M.C.] Mayans M.C. fans are still reeling after that ‘bloody’ series finale, which saw Ez Reyes’s (Jd Pardo) past come back to haunt him in the worst way and his brother Angel (Clayton Cardenas) having to make the ultimate sacrifice. As the war between the Mayans and the Sons came to a close, Angel tearfully announced to the biker game his time with the crew is closing, as he plans to get away to live a clean life with his son. Although his brother Ez understood, their fellow members didn’t make it that easy for him to leave, as the brothers get ambushed in Templo by Bishop (Michael Irby), Gilly (Vincent Vargas), Hank (Frankie Loyal), and new member Nestor (Gino Vento). They force Angel to kill Ez, who was revealed to be an FBI informant, to prove himself loyal and officially leave this life ...

Spoiler Alert: The following reveals major plot points from the series finale of FX’s Mayans M.C. titled “Slow to Bleed Fair Son.”
On tonight’s episode of Mayans M.C. titled “Slow to Bleed Fair Son,” the biker gang whose origins date back to Kurt Sutter’s Sons of Anarchy and later expanded into its own spinoff series takes its last ride—and it’s messy as hell.
Without El Padrino Marcus Alvarez (Emilio Rivera) at the helm of the club, it was only a matter of time before the whole thing exploded into chaos. After being ousted by former prospect turned president Ez Reyes (Jd Pardo) in Season 4, it took some time for Alvarez to figure out what his life would look like in a post-Mayans world. As the founding member of the charter, Alvarez struggled but discovered in the finale ever so clearly that he is where...

FX’s Mayans M.C. season five episode 10 – the series finale – is, hands down, the best episode of the entire series. Amid all the blood and deaths, questions are answered, and dues are stamped paid. Not every character deserves their fate, but every death is, in its own way, justified.
Sons of Anarchy was Hamlet with motorcycles. Mayans M.C. is also a Shakespearean tragedy, complete with betrayals, love, loyalty, and murder.
Season five episode 10, “Slow to Bleed Fair Son,” begins with confirmation that Felipe has died. His funeral is the opening scene, with Angel (Clayton Cardenas) holding Maverick and Ez (Jd Pardo) solemnly staring straight ahead as “Were You There When They Crucified My Lord” is sung.
Sadly, the service has very few people other than Mayans in attendance. When the song ends, Angel and Ez...

Still haven’t recovered from FX’s Mayans M.C. season five episode seven? Neither have I. But buckle up because episode eight – “Her Blacks Crackle and Drag” – doesn’t let up. The episode finds the Mayans saying goodbye to Creeper, Angel lost without Adelita, and Hope taking drastic measures to ensure Isaac can never hurt her or Letty again.
But, most importantly, the episode’s explosive ending might spell the end of Ez’s short reign over the prisons.
Episode eight opens with Downer (Angel Oquendo) and Guero (Andrew Jacobs) transporting the dead bodies of Diaz and Jinx. Guero’s justifiably worried after killing Oakland’s president in cold blood, which forced Bishop to take out the VP. But Downer assures him the club knows why he did it. It wasn’t a smart move,...

FX’s Mayans M.C. season five episode seven says goodbye to two major, longtime players as we head into the final stretch of episodes. The body count explodes in episode seven, with Emily finally getting her hands bloody instead of calling on Ez to do her dirty work, and a Santo Padre associate is taken out after being labeled the club’s rat. Plus, Ibarra’s son finally exacts his revenge at the most inopportune time.
But it’s the gut-wrenching deaths of two key Mayans M.C. characters that make episode seven so heartbreaking.
Plenty of spoilers ahead…you’ve been warned!

Spoiler Alert: The following reveals major plot points from tonight’s episode of FX’s Mayans M.C. titled “To Fear of Death, I Eat the Stars.”
With just three episodes left of FX’s Mayans M.C., the Reaper is working overtime slaying more fan-favorite characters following the brutal killing of original Sons of Anarchy character Happy Lowman (David Labrava) last week.

Do not fool yourself into thinking anyone is safe at this point in the game—not even anyone at the top of the call sheet.

Series star Jd Pardo makes his directorial debut with FX’s Mayans M.C. season five episode four, “I See the Black Light.”
Ez’s betting the Mayans M.C. Santo Padre’s future on taking over the Lobos New Generation’s drug business in the U.S., and he trades away the 12 crates of stolen guns for supplies to make more heroin. His men are frustrated and upset by the deal, and Ez reminds them that without the pipeline, the war will be lost no matter how many guns they have in their possession.
Hank (Frankie Loyal) informs Ez, Angel (Clayton Cardenas), and Bishop (Michael Irby) – the inner circle – that Creeper told him there’s a rat in the clubhouse. Someone in jail told Creeper, and Creeper believes it. So does Hank.

It all comes down to this, Mayans M.C. fanatics.
FX on Wednesday unveiled the trailer for Mayans M.C. Season 5, which promises our deadliest season to date.
At the end of Mayans M.C. Season 4, Ez was president of the Santo Padre charter, a move that elicited a lot of blowbacks.
If you watch Mayans M.C. online, you know the development put him on the outs with his brother, Angel.
In the freshly released footage, Angel and his dad are forced to ponder whether Ez is too far gone.
If the trailer proves anything, Ez is making moves, but they may not be the right ones to secure his safety.
Angel is particularly concerned because the simmering tension between the Mayans and the Sons of Anarchy leads to several threats to the lives of his loved ones.
It's a lot to process, and we're barely scratching the surface of the trailer here.

Set in 1971, both Hunt and Liddy have just been hired by the White House to investigate the Pentagon Papers leak when they end up landing on the committee to re-elect the president. “White House Plumbers” aims to pull back the curtain to the events that led up to one of America’s most infamous political crimes.

FX has released our biggest look at Mayans M.C. Season 4 to date, and it's clear that war is on the horizon.
The latest clip shows the Mayans and Sons of Anarchy's Samcro preparing for battle.
"Off With Their Heads" is the soundtrack of choice on the high-stakes footage.
It has rain pouring, lightning strikes, and everything you'd expect to tee up such a big fight.
The footage shows siblings Ez (Jd Pardo) and Angel Reyes (Clayton Cardenas), as well as Gilly (Vincent “Rocco” Vargas), Hank (Frankie Loyal), and Creeper (Joseph Lucero).
The good news for fans of Sons of Anarchy is that it looks like many faces from the original series will be stopping by.
However, the show is keeping those familiar faces under wraps until transmission.
Hey, we like spoilers, but we also like being shocked!
“[In Season 3], we dealt with consequences, and I think we’re going to continue to.

Mayans M.C. Season 4 gets underway in a month, and there is a lot at stake.
The hit Sons of Anarchy spinoff returns Tuesday, April 19 at 10 p.m. with the first two episodes.
FX has notoriously been silent about what's about to go down on the series, and given the way Mayans M.C. Season 3 ended, we shouldn't expect much information to come out ahead of the premiere.
"War descends on Santo Padre," reads the logline for the season premiere.
If you watch Mayans M.C. online, you know the series wrapped with the Santo Padre charter being attacked by other charters.
It was quite a visual, and one that left us with the sense that anything could happen on Mayans M.C. Season 4.
A lot is on the line, and we should probably not expect all of our favorite characters to survive the premiere.

FX has released the first trailer for the fifth and final season of “Better Things,” its original comedy series created by, executive produced by and starring Pamela Adlon.
Adlon stars as Sam, a working actress raising three daughters in Los Angeles attempting to navigate her life and find fulfillment. Mikey Madison, Hannah Alligood and Olivia Edward portray Sam’s daughter, who are each struggling to come of age, while Celia Imrie portrays Sam’s mother, who deals with increasingly difficult mental and physical health issues. Adlon heavily based the series on her own experiences as an actor raising three daughters.
The trailer for the new season sees Sam working on a new movie, giving a presentation to an elementary school class and arguing with her daughters. The new season will feature Danny Trejo, Lena Waithe, Ron Cephas Jones, Casey Wilson, Angela Kinsey and Lennon Parham as guest stars.
