Exclusive: Smac Entertainment, the management and production company founded by Constance Schwartz-Morini and Michael Strahan, with an eye toward a major presence in entertainment and sports, has expanded its roster with the addition of star NFL wide receiver Dk Metcalf.
Smac will assist Metcalf in identifying new business ventures that will expand his brand presence, including entertainment production opportunities and future endorsements, licensing and partnerships. The firm’s work with the two-time Pro Bowl selection begins immediately and will be spearheaded by Jose Diaz, Derek Sanderson and Georgie Moskowitz.
“Dk Metcalf is at the peak of his NFL career and has been making game changing moves on the field since his NFL debut with the Seahawks in 2019,” said Smac CEO Constance Schwartz-Morini. “I’m thrilled to bring Dk into the Smac family and leverage his football success into new entertainment endeavors. Exclusive: Village Roadshow Entertainment has hired Brian Gilbert to oversee the newly launched Village Roadshow Sports. Gilbert will oversee development of Vreg’s original slate of sports content while also working closely with Vreg’s existing film and television divisions to amplify relevant sports themes in their respective slates. Gilbert will report to Steve Mosko, CEO of Village Roadshow Entertainment Group, who made the announcement today.
