The upcoming series ‘P.I Meena’ has unveiled its trailer and it boasts of a dark, and intriguing, narrative, showing itself to be hardcore and intense detective drama. Following a murder made to look like an accident, actress Tanya Maniktala’s character of Meena, a private investigator, ends up encountering something far more dangerous.
Meena is a private investigator and while a brilliant detective as alluded to by the trailer, the cases that she has been handling have been rather menial for her, or at least not satisfactory to her at all.
One day, Meena ends up encountering a case, which may just become for her the case of a lifetime.
The synopsis of the series states: “A young private investigator is the eyewitness of a road accident. A young man is hit by a speeding truck. Happens all the time. Or, does it?
“An existential link to her troubled past...

Jaipur, March 22 (Ians) Around 6,000 resident doctors went on strike on Wednesday against the Right to Health Bill passed in the Rajasthan Assembly recently, crippling healthcare services at hospitals, including the SMS Hospital.

Jaipur, March 21 (Ians) The Right to Health Bill was passed in the Rajasthan Assembly on Tuesday amidst a hue and cry by the opposition Bjp.
Rajasthan has become the first state in the country where the Right to Health Bill has been passed. Earlier, there was a fierce debate between the ruling Congress and the opposition regarding the passing of this bill.
State health minister Parsadi Lal Meena attacked the doctors and some big hospitals. He said if someone dies during treatment in a private hospital, the body is released only after the bill is paid in full. Sometimes the bill is of lakhs of rupees. From where will a poor man get lakhs of rupees? he asked.
Meena said the public has elected us and sent us here. We should take care of the public. There are many famous and big hospitals in Jaipur who cheat in the name of treatment.

MollywoodSince the budget of a film automatically goes up when a superstar is signed, it appears that filmmakers believe only a “mass” storyline can draw in audiences from across the states to ensure a profitable run.Sowmya RajendranThe trailer of Aaraattu, Mohanlal’s upcoming film with B Unnikrishnan, dropped on February 4, and it appears to be yet another “mass” film that projects the superstar as a demi-god. “I’m not a gangster, I’m not a monster, I’m sinister, I’m Lucifer,” he says, even as other characters in the video are asking curious questions about him to set up the viewers’ expectations. He is also shown beating up other men heroically. While many Mohanlal fans are enthused by this macho man display, several are disappointed by the star’s script selection that has gone downhill in recent years. The last Mohanlal film to release was Bro Daddy, directed by Prithviraj.

Buster Moon and his ragtag of animal friends are back to put on the show to end all shows in Garth Jennings sequel. The follow-up to the 2016 offering which saw Moon (Matthew McConaughey) strive to save his theatre with an X-Factor style show is guaranteed to put a smile on your kid’s faces but it’s a tired spectacular that rehashes the same old tropes.
Moon, eyeing an opportunity to hit the big time gathers his loyal band of talented musicians, Johnny (Taron Egerton), Rosita (Reese Witherspoon), Ash (Scarlett Johansson), Meena (Tori Kelly) and Gunter (Nick Kroll) and heads to Redshore City to catch the eye of the Simon Cowell type hotelier Jimmy Crystal (Bobby Cannavale). Crystal is not your average businessman; the steely-eyed wolf is as dodgy as they come and wouldn’t think twice about throwing a Koala off a tall building if he even thinks about crossing him.

Some director’s careers are easier to wrap your head around than others. While it can be refreshing when a director refuses to be pigeon-holed into one genre and defies expectations by producing something completely unexpected, some filmmaker’s lists of credits are truly chaotic. Take British director Garth Jennings, for example. He’s directed some of the best music videos of all time, including Blur’s “Coffee & TV” and the Grammy-nominated “Lotus Flower” for Radiohead. He made an ambitious adaptation of the beloved “Hitchhiker’s Guide to the Galaxy” and the lovely ’80s-set indie comedy “Son of Rambow.”
Then in 2016, he unexpectedly made the hit animation “Sing” for Illumination (the studio behind “Despicable Me” and “The Secret Life of Pets”). In the inexplicable five year gap between “Sing” and its inevitable sequel, Jennings has only directed once — and that was a short horror film. The problem with leaving such...
