My Hero Academia and Marvel Studios just teamed up for something special. The official Japanese accounts for both announced a crossover on February 6, celebrating the upcoming movie Captain America: Brave New World. This collaboration highlights two winged warriors: Hawks from My Hero Academia and Sam Wilson, the new Captain America.

The My Hero Academia account shared a fresh visual featuring both characters, while Marvel Studios dropped a special video narrated by Yūichi Nakamura. A new five-minute episode of “One Piece” made its unexpected debut last weekend at the Mbs Anime Fest in Kobe, Japan, thrilling fans of the popular anime series. The special release, created to celebrate the show’s 25th anniversary, is now available on YouTube in Japanese only.

The short episode features series favorites Monkey D. Luffy and Trafalgar Law teaming up to battle a giant sea serpent. The story takes place after the Battle of Wanokuni and includes cameo appearances from other fan-favorite characters.

Who ends up who is perhaps the most important question anime fans ask, possibly only second to "who would win?’ The romance genre is one of the most loved, and even though when the show is not exclusively romantic, fans are always interested in the dynamics between different characters. Sometimes, the audience is treated to obvious couple formations between the protagonists, but fans have limitless imaginations when it comes to shipping.

It just so happens that some anime couples don’t get their due share in the limelight because they haven’t been exclusively written into the storyline in that manner. Natsume Yuujinchou fans have something special to look forward to this coming June. The very first video game based on the beloved Natsume's Book of Friends anime and manga franchise was recently announced, alongside a release date for Nintendo Switch and PC via Steam.

Per Oricon, Developer Toydium and publisher Bushiroad Games' Natsume Yuujinchou: Hazuki no Shirushi will arrive on Nintendo Switch and PC in Japan on June 5, 2025. Players will assume the role of series protagonist Takashi Natsume in the upcoming adventure video game, spending their summer vacation in the same world while hanging out with classmates, helping out their family and listening to the various troubles of visiting yokai. Per Oricon, the aforementioned magazine is ViVi, a monthly fashion magazine with a target demographic of women aged 17-27. Sitting at the top of ViVi's Top 10 "most handsome men" rankings is Otsuka, who narrowly defeated Nobuhiko Okomoto, best known for his role as Katsuki Bakugo from My Hero Academia. Hunter x Hunter's new fighting game, Nen x Impact has been banned in Australia due to suggestions of sexual violence against minors according to a recent report. Though Hunter x Hunter is a believed series among anime fans, one of the series' main antagonists, Hisoka, remains a controversial aspect. It seems that controversy has now boiled over, with Hisoka's disquieting antics meaning that Bushiroad and Eighting's Hunter x Hunter: Nen x Impact won't receive classification in Australia, effectively banning the game.

In a report by Automaton Media, the Australian Classification board specifically said that it wouldn't classify the new game with its rating system due to "sexual violence against characters under the age of 18 by an adult male character." The official X account of Mononoke unveiled a new trailer and visual for its upcoming second film, which is titled Mononoke the Movie: Hinezumi, on Dec 4, 2024.

The film is set to premiere on March 14, 2025.

Yoshino and Kirishima haven't been the most in-sync duo as they try to pull the strings of Ozu's scheme, but they prove to be a formidable pair with their wits and connections. A year after the TV series' epic conclusion, the Attack on Titan anime has achieved another franchise feat, easily stealing the #1 spot at the Japanese domestic box office and overtaking major Hollywood films in the process.

Via Mantan Web, box office tracker Kogyo Tsushin revealed this week that Mappa's Attack on Titan: The Last Attack grossed around 249 million yen (~US$1.6 million) and 175,000 viewers in its first three days in theaters. This put it at #1 at the domestic box office, knocking off Venom, which grossed 193 million and took #1 last week in its own premiere in Japan the prior week. Sanrio, a brand famous worldwide for its iconic characters like Hello Kitty, is no stranger to official crossovers with big-name anime and manga series. The Mononoke anime film has been confirmed to be a trilogy. This was revealed on the official X account of the anime on July 28, 2024, following the recent release of the first film titled Mononoke: Karakasa.

The second film is titled Mononoke the Movie: Hinezumi (Fire Rat), and is set to premiere on March 14, 2025.

Hiroshi Kamiya recently confirmed during a stage event for the first film that he will reprise the role of the Medicine Seller in the second film and that he would start recording on July 28.

The tickets for the second film will go on sale starting Aug 2, 2024. The film’s staff have also unveiled the exclusive design for the tickets. Check it out below:

Additionally, a third film is planned to conclude the project. More details on this is yet to be revealed.

There are dozens of characters in Bleach, and several of these characters have siblings. For example, Orihime had an older brother who became a Hollow. That being said, neither of them are exceptionally powerful. Some of the strongest Bleach siblings happen to be Soul Reapers, and most of them are Lieutenant-level or higher. There are also Arrancar and Quincy siblings, who are fairly strong as well.
