Streaming service NBC News Now has added two live hours to its weekday lineup, installing Washington TV veteran Aaron Gilchrist as its anchor.
The noon-to-2Pm Et block will cover cover national and international news. Gilchrist is former anchor for News4 Today on NBCUniversal-owned TV station Wrc in Washington.
NBC News Now has continued to expand its programming and is seeing its audience grow. It now claims 25 million monthly viewers, with 35 million total viewing hours a month. The service is available as a live-linear channel on NBCUniversal streaming outlet Peacock and is also carried on YouTube, YouTube TV, the Roku Channel, FuboTV, Xumo, Pluto and Tubi. It can also be accessed through NBC News Ott apps on Roku, Fire TV and Apple TV.

Vertical Entertainment has unveiled an official trailer for an indie feature titled Chasing Bullitt, which is in reference to Steve McQueen's classic film Bullitt (from 1968). This biopic is also about Steve McQueen, as played by Andre Brooks, who is searching for his lost, beloved Ford Mutstang Gt 390. He will only accept a new deal from his Hollywood agent if the agent agrees to help him locate the car. This takes place later in McQueen's career, when he's struggling with marriage and work and all kinds of things. The cast includes Jan Broberg, Dorian Cirillo-Murray, Crystal Miel Cossey, Anthony Dilio, and Dennis W. Hall. Steve McQueen, the actor who became a screen icon, passed away in 1980. He was only 50! That's a staggering loss, though he was absent from the big screen for a big chunk of the 70s. In the decades that have passed, his reputation has grown as more people come to appreciate his performances; his restraint in (generally) underplaying his roles has aged very well. That being said, McQueen is returning to the screen this year. In the summer, Damian Lewis has been tapped to play the actor in Quentin Tarantino's Once Upon a Time in Hollywood, though that's expected to be a smaller role.
