Voice actors of VeggieTales

VeggieTales was a fun series of home videos for kids and parents of all ages to watch. It taught kids wholesome life lessons about forgiveness and being good friends, and it has been around since primitive computer animation in the early 1990s. But the animation gets better after the first four episodes. For that, we remember each and every one of its charming voice actors, even though we hardly see any of its regular cast members in other mainstream cartoons. This is because their Big Idea studios is based in Lombard, Illinois and moved to Franklin, Tennessee in July 19, 2004, so most of their voice actors are not professionals. However, Phil Vischer, Mike Nawrocki, and Lisa Vischer do occasionally meet other voice actors from Vancouver and Los Angeles. Since Lisa made the best VeggieTales VA in my opinion, I love that before she married Phil Vischer, he moved to her hometown of Chicago instead of her moving to Phil, and after her absence from VeggieTales in the House & City when Tress MacNeille made Junior sound completely different because her Junior had a much lower voice and sounded less girly, Lisa returned for The VeggieTales Show.

Most of the original voice actors are based in Illinois. If you see a new voice actor from Duke and the Great Pie War onward, and you haven't seen their name in other mainstream animated film & TV, chances are they were based in Tennessee - except Cydney Trent, who lives in Arizona. On July 3, 2018, Big Idea relocated again to Tustin, California, and Phil Vischer, Mike Nawrocki and Lisa Pautz got access to a lot of professional California actors like Kira Buckland and David Mann. Kira should not have replaced Cydney because unlike Lisa, who voices a boy, Cydney Rosenbaum (and Charolette Ann Volkman) was VeggieTales' only prominent female voice actor who voices a girl and didn't keep getting recast through the original pre-Netflix run, and it would make more sense to keep Cydney Rosenbaum around if she still lives in Arizona, because that is one state away from where Big Idea is now, so now Lisa, Mike and Phil live closer to Cydney than they were when she originally voiced Petunia with them. Plus, Cydney is 22 days older than Lisa, which matches a pattern of Phil being 22 days older than Mike. Maybe The VeggieTales Show should also hire back Cydney's husband, John Trent, a title card designer.
